my guild does full karas in one day, not in segments. it was my second kara run, EVER, my first one i got only 1 epic, but i got 5 epics total in one run. consider me lucky, i think i was VERY

Same thing actually happend on my priest.
The first day we couldn't get past Maiden because our DPS was short, and i didnt get any epics.
The next, we cleared it all and i got 4 - 5 epics. smile

Geez, we've been clearing Kara for a while still I've yet to get a epic chest piece, or epic off hand, though I missed the off-hand to our use to be top healer... then he quit and even before that got a different off hand from heroic tokens which makes me angry cause I could have used the off hand /cry. btw my Druid is Nightbattler if you want to check her l33tness XD

On my druid, I had that happen. Everytime we downed a boss something I could use dropped. xd And I won 'em, too.
It was only when we got to Prince and that awesome cloak dropped (aswell as the piece that won me the nice head) that I knew that one of the others could use it just as much as I so I passed on it 'cause I felt kinda guilty by that point. lol

Meh, sometimes we have "healer nights" where nothing but +healing gear drops in one kara run. or "Mail / Leather or melee dps" gear drops.
I have a lock in T6 but my alts are still running Kara, Mag, and Gruul trying to gear up.

Personally i think Priest/Warrior/Druid combo has a better luck on loot upgrades than anything else. I never got loot on my rogue that i needed which i don't play anymore.

My first time in kara I walked away with shard of the virtuous. ^^ It happened to be a guild I pugged with...and I got it when the other healers could definitely used it.
And a back round story! I joined that guild...and soon after a bunch of people left...they made a new guild...and here I am today the GM of it. Funny how things work out. hehe
