Yeah. I bought him from someone locally, so I didn't pay as much. I bought him and the cage for $100. I had to get a lot of other things and another cage for when I visit home. But I am so glad to have him as a pet. smile
Cockatiels are kind of expensive too. They're around $100+ too.

That really isn't that expensive if you look at the more tropical birds like the macaws

I adore chins, i had the job of taking care of my science teachers two chins, atilla and hunny. Atilla was always a bit cranky and bit hard and often but hunny is a sweet as her name. My science teacher actually rescued hers so they were free!
