I read in a recent interview how the writing of HIM's latest album, Passions Killing Floor led to many personal breakdowns for Ville. In the interview, he also talked about how he was looking for love and how he had many regrets, like taking the wrong sort of drugs and how he gets bored on tour because he can't go to the after show parties any more because of his time in rehab and he sits and reads instead. In his words, it's "******** boring."
Somtimes I worry about that emotional little man. It seems like in his worst times, his true colours shine through and he's able to write his most amazing material (though the same can't be said for tha actual music of Venus Doom - Don't throw things at me, it just wasn't their best)
Any one agree??

i think the man is just too damn addicted to partying. he has no reason to complain of boredom, hes a muscian and a talented one at that, living a life that most of us average people could only dream to live as we act out our mundane, repetitive lives. and there are ways to enjoy yourself at a party without giving in to the temptation of booze and drugs. its called "getting high on life" and i think this man has forgotten how to live without his alcohol. all he needs is self control and the balls to face his old demons and get past them. or he can go out and have other means of fun. hell, reading is fun enough for me. sometimes you need a little down time. it just sounds to me that he's whining and hes a grown man so its pathetic. its people like him that makes me mad, people who can appreciate what they have in life when they have so much to live for. unless my judgement is off, could you please give me the link to the article so i can correct my statement.

I agree. Although we all love him dearly, he has begun to whine a lot recently - did you hear him when he heard about the smoking ban??? I actually ROFLed, he was that indignant!! He argues that he's not a "rockstar" and that he doesn't act like one, but isn't this typical rockstar behaviour??? *Sigh* The article was in a magazine, it was either in the latest Kerrang or the latest Rocksound, I can't quite remember :S

its just that the reason why he pisses me off is because i have a friend who is behaving similarly, she complains that her love interest doesn't notice her but she has all these others who are flocking at her feet and all she does is b***h about the one person and i just want to shake her and arrgh at least someone likes HER.

Geez...poor guy..
Yeah I think he is way to into partying, and drinking and doing that type of stuff. Its cool though that he understands that he was doing the wrong stuff, and that it could hurt him. And he did stop partying, and did go to rehab. Good for Ville smile Thats exactly why his my idol.
