After the inducting and issue of your gear you are told to grab your gear which was quickly stuffed inside of a seabag that was issued to you to carry it all. You are told to get outside and to form up. The formation is starting to look more military with the exception that the pant legs of your trousers are un-bloused and folded up into cuffs which identifies you all as new boot recruits. You all have your seabags beside of you, and once everyone is there you are ordered to pick up your seabag, turn to the right and step off by the Drill Instructor who is seeing over you.

He calls out to you that he is going to start calling cadence and wants you all to get into step. He then begins the cadence that will be drilled into you for the next few weeks of, "Left..... Left...... Left.. Right.. Left." and you all pick up the cadence quickly. You see buildings pass on your left and right, some made out of wood with old pipes coming in and out of and some with brick that go up about 2-3 stories.

You have no utter clue where you are when the Drill Instructor tells you to "Halt and turn to your left". You all are in front of a long brick building. Looking from where you are standing, you see a big sand pit and some old time concrete wash sinks and clothes drying racks front and center. To the left and right you see a door on each floor which this building has 3 floors. So there are a total of 6 doors. The drill instructor says, "This is your new home.... now turn to the right. First column follow me." And he marches to the door on the first floor on the left and directs you in.

Inside you see a row of metal bunk beds on the left and right with footlockers on each bed. It looks cramped and uncomfortable. You filter down one side and once full, start filling in the other side evenly. You are then ordered to all gather close to the opposite end of where you came in at. You then notice that there is a door on the left that is closed and a set of double doors on the right which the word "Heads" is titled above it. You are instructed to get as close up to the red line which separates this area from the main part of the squad bay where you will be sleeping for the next few weeks.

The Drill Instructor then calls "Attention on Deck!" as another marine comes out of the office on the left. The Drill Instructor salutes, which is returned, and then leaves thru a set of double doors that is just beyond the office on the left.

The man in front of you now has shiny things on his uniform collar. He greets you, "At ease recruits and welcome to Marine Corp Recruit Depot Parris Island. I know things have not made much sense up to this point. There just is so much to get done that we have to move quickly. My name is Captain Gabuleon and I am the acting company commander for 1st Recruit Training Battalion, Alpha Company. The company to which you have been assigned. Your platoon, which all of you are members of, is assigned a number from the day you joined and were met in recieving till the day you graduate. Your platoon number is 1060. Now. We are here to train you. Remember one thing, we will not ask you to do any thing that we ourselves have not done, nor couldn't do. There is always a reason you are told to do something. Whether you know that reason or not is irrelevant. As long as you follow orders, learn what you need to know, and always give 110% at all times, you will all graduate to become Marines in my beloved United States Marine Corp. There is only 2 ways off this island, Graduating or Failing. Don't be the one to choose failure. Everyone here has the capability of graduating. Its just a matter of if you want it or not.

Now I want to introduce a few people on my staff whom will be responsible for you. First up we have Lt. SlashFan-01." from the office marches Lt. SlashFan-01 and goes to the position of parade rest behind the company commander. "He will be your series commander. Beyond today you will probably not see me much except here or there as I am doing my job taking care of things. But Lt. SlashFan-01 will be directly responsible to me for you. However before you deal with him you have someone more immediate in your chain of command to oversee your training and care. I would like to introduce your Senior Drill Instructor. Come on out Drill Instructors!"

A tight clean-shaven angular marine marches out with his campaign cover on and black belt shining. He moves to the rear of the company commander and renders a salute. Immediately following behind him are 3 other Drill Instructors who come out of the door wearing thier covers and green duty belts. They center behind on the Senior Drill Instructor. Lt. SlashFan-01 then faces Capt. Gabuleon and salutes and takes charge of the platoon. He reconfirms to you that the job of the Senior Drill Instructor is that he is there to ensure your well being and safety and that if you have any problems... go to him. Then he calls the Drill Instructors to attention to administer the Drill Instructors Oath:

"These are my recruits. I will train them to the best of my ability. I will develop them into smartly disciplined, physically fit, basically trained Marines, thoroughly indoctrinated in love of Corps and country. I will demand of them, and demonstrate by my own example, the highest standards of personal conduct, morality, and professional skill."

He then about faces and addresses you all. "OK recruits, are you ready for your Drill Instructors? Give me a motivated shout..."

All the recruits around you shout, "SIR YES SIR!"

His face turns from the smile and warmth he had in it to one of flat evil, "Good to go ... you wanted them... .. you got em, Drill Instructors they are yours." and he walks out the hatches up front."

All hell breaks loose, with Drill Instructors yelling commands, correcting things, and causing a flurry of confusion and disarray.

"Sir yes sir," without a care in the world why he said that.
When the rest of his fellow recruits started moving, he just followed as he pleased. All he knows is that he's going on a mission, couldn't even concentrate on what he was ordered to do sorry.

{I wrote this because I was to lazy to read the rest of the script, so could you make your mission stories a bit shorter please}
