Couldn't they just draw a warm bath, or take a really hot shower?
PostPosted: Wed Jun 04, 2008 9:49 pm

Well, they don't exactly feel temperature the way we do. Plus, if they sit in a bath, it'd get cold awfully fast haha

But I can think of several ways I could make Edward warm whee wink cool

I've always wondered that too. But I agree with the person above me. Haha.

In all actuality, cold is nothing but the absence of heat.

But I guess in vampires, they radiate coldness the way a light radiates heat. At least that's my theory. sweatdrop

♪Im sorry I have to say it,
You look like your sad.♫

True.
Couldn't they sit in a fire? xD

But, i think when your dead there's no way of making yourself warm because the body generates no heat.
And so i think, like previous people have said, you feel no temperature either.

I’ve noticed it bad.♪

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Edward comment a few times about how he liked Bella's warmth? Wouldn't that mean he could feel heat....?
PostPosted: Wed Jun 11, 2008 9:53 pm

He can feel it, but not the way we do... it's like....... hmm...... have you ever been really numb before? Ok, well, I've been to the doctor more then most normal humans have haha But when your numb you can feel and cold but your kinda indifferent to it. It's so hard to explain if you haven't felt it your self ><

But hey, I live in Arizona, and do you know how badly I need Edward right now! I swear, I'd have him put my clothes on so that they're nice and cool for me hahahaha

i agree with the person above. you know when your arm or legg falls asleep, you cant really feel it? say your leg is asleep and you stand up, you cant feel the ground, but you know its there. my guess is that edward cant physically feel it, but he kows it is there, and so he can 'feel' it. 3nodding

if they're idestructable... would they die if we light them on fire?? I was thinking about this for a while..

they have to burn the shreds of the bodies.. but is the body different when they die or something??

maybe he would feel the warmth of the fire if he stands in one.. just kidding...

there was a silence

Yeah, the electric blanket would work, well, maybe not because a vampire's coldness would suck up the heat, wouldn't it?
PostPosted: Thu Jun 19, 2008 2:00 pm

No they'd have to cuddle up in Jacob's arms.

That is what I thought too!

Edward seems to enjoy the sun. He has to be able to physically feel. remember how bella made him say "ow" lol. and he liked how it felt when she was feeling up on his arm...... so i think he can feel

But why would they need to be shred to pieces to be burnt.... i guess so they cant run away..... It makes you think... Does fire physically hurt them???

I've wondered about this too. I think he can feel heat, just at a different level.

Breaking Dawn Spoiler:
Bella said that when she touched Jacob it felt like touching an open flame. When she held Nessie ((Sorry Bella)) She felt her comfortable warmth. It's there..somehow.

Edward did mention her warmth many times. Maybe it takes a lot more heat for them to feel it..or he feels Bella's warmth because of his love for her..?
