Early morning, just as the golden sun started to chase away the blue from the sky Crayko, a large female Rex lazed by a pond where frogs croaked and fish occasionally jumped and broke the waters mirrored surface. 'what a pretty morning' she thought as she shook the dew from her back and stood up. looking out across the fields with a deep breath.

Josc hissed irritably as he edged away from the rest of his 'family'. Those darn females were enough to drive a male batty. Oh little Zelia was alright, she was shy and didn't bother him but those blasted other females. Panae was always after him to 'play', didn't she know a dignified rexes didn't play? And that blasted Kimela...always trying to boss him around.
Hissng again he moved away towards the lake, his tail snapping behind him displaying his irritation for all the world to see. He didn't notice the female by the lake.

Crayko tilted her head upon hearing the snap of the black Rex's tail and watched him grump about. she wondered why he was so grumpy but being shy as she was, she just watched and rumbled softly. if Sachi was around she would have been brave enough to approach him, but without her friend she was more cautions.
if he was just a generally mean Rex she wouldn't want to make him more angry. but he seemed to just be frustrated. she knew a generally mean tempered Rex and he acted much different.

Hearing a soft rumble he jerked his head around to see who was there. He blinked his large eyes at the strange female. His grumpiness seemed to vanish as he studied her curiously. He made a chortling sound as he cocked his head to the side.
Was she nice or was she bossy like the females he lived with. He hoped she was nice, it would be a wonderful change.

Crayko pulled her head back as he noticed her but gave a curious eye that he tilted his head. she did that allot. case and point; she tilted her head too
the sudden change in his mood made her wonder if she'd done something particularly interesting

Josc chortled faintly his jaw dropping a bit in a rex type grin. He draw himself up his full height before calling out to her "good morning lady." His manner had become more relaxed and laid back the longer he was away from his family.

Crayko tucked her head in shyly, though he seemed much more settled now, perhaps all he wanted was someone to talk to?
"g-good morning, sir." she replied with a soft toothy smile. she thought it was amusing he called her 'lady' if ever Rexes blushed she proved it.

He chortled again amused. So she was a shy one, well that was fine. He ducked down to get a drink careful not to watch her too closely and make her more nervous " a wonderful day is it not? I am Joscline and certainly no sir." She was adorable that much was certain.

He seemed a kind sort, modest, obviously. "yeah, I hope it rains." she said happily, though it was just the fact she loved the rain that she said it. most thought she hated nice days, she only disliked it dry and hot.
"oh, Sorry, habit to say 'sir'." she said bowing her head slightly in apology "m-my name is Crayko."

"It is a pleasure to meet you Miss Crayko and yes I rather hope it rains myself. " He hissed his amusement as he observed her. She certainly seemed a sweet, shy sort. Yes this was definatly a refreshing change. When she apologized he hissed louder in amusement. "It is quiet alright. I just get enough of that sir buiness from the hatchlings that I see."

" pleasure to meet you as well, heh heh the rain is so pretty" she laughed through a big Rex grin " aww, I see, hatchlings are cute though" she replied softly, looking up to examine the clouds
she had settled quite a bit, it was nice talking to someone new.

Josc grumbled faintly under his breath "yeah yeah they are good for eatting that is." It was easy to tell though he didn't mean what he grumbled, more of he was just trying to seem grumpy.
He settled down in the grass with a yawn, blinking drowsily as he enjoyed the pleasant day. It was rather nice to get to talk to someone that he didn't know and didn't have to put up with all the time.

" they can be tiresome. they're still just figuring things out though." she said softly in a tone, trying to help him cheer up.
"so you live with many others?" she asked, plopping down as well,more at ease about making conversation.

He shifted faintly so he could keep her in sight and grumbled softly, his tail tip twitch "aye I do a rather larger herd honestly. Panae, Kimela, Zelia, Shanna is the hatchling, and Asheron the only other male."
