This Ice Cream parlor used to be Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour that was shut down for a while after Florean disappeared in 1996. It was reopened after the war by a kind witch who turned it into a family business. Her family still runs it to this day and it has a warm welcoming atmosphere.
They have every flavor imaginable both Muggle and some unique wizard world only flavors. They also have every topping imagineable to put on your sundaes or on top of your cones. There are still tables outside to sit and eat your sundaes or cones.

Ally walked up to the counter and ordered a small bowl of bubblegum flavored ice cream. She then took her ice cream and sat at a shady table watching the people rush by being busy with what they had to get done. She always did like watching people, they were a great interest to her.

Eevee and Berek arrived at the ice cream parlour short after their exit from Flourish and Blotts. Eevee walked up to the counter and ordered a small dish of cookies and cream ice cream for herself, and a small dish of rainbow sprinkles for Berek. She carried both dishes to the table with her book under her arm. She placed both dishes on the table. Berek flitted down to the table and began to munch his sprinkles. Eevee got a small spoon and began to eat. She opened her book and started to read. She paid little attention to Berek or the fact that he had finished his sprinkles and had moved on to her ice cream. After a few moments, she looked up and saw Berek eating her food. "Hey! Come off it, Berek! You're going to get fat!" Berek fluttered his wings at her and flitted to the book. "I'm finished now, Berek, you're too late. We'll read on the train. We still need to stop by the Magical Menagerie to pick up some things. Mum and dad will meet us at the train with the rest of my things. Actually, I think I'm going to buy a new broom stick as well. My cleansweep is getting old." Eevee stood up and put Berek's dish inside hers and put it on the counter for the cashier to clean. She paid him two sickles and then left. "Where to first? Magical Menagerie or Quality Quidditch Supplies?" Berek answered, "The Magical Menagerie is closer."
Eevee looked at him, "Then the Magical Menagerie it is!" the pair of them took off down Diagon Alley once more.

Tiernan stepped into the shop that afternoon. The aroma of butterscotch, rich vanilla ice cream immediately captured his senses. He walked over to the counter and scanned the hundreds and hundreds of flavors. Finally, he settled with a bowl of rich dark chocolate ice cream.

The headmistress had slipped into a world of her own day dreaming about what she had in store for the students this year when her watch beeped notifying her that it was 9:00 snapping her out of her fantasies and bringing her back to reality. She looked around and noticed Eevee taking off down Diagon Alley and waved at her as she was leaving. She then took notice of Tiernan, a Gryffindor she had selected for Head Boy. She beckoned for him to come over and sit down hoping he would take her up on the offer. She loved socializing with the students.

Tiernan turned around and spotted Headmistress Ally. He greeted the professor, "Good morning, professor. How are you?"

"I'm doing well," replied Tiernan. "Don't worry, I will do the best job I can and yeah, I'm real excited for Quidditch this season. I trained with my cousin, Barry, this past summer" he continued.

"That's good," she replied with a big warm smile. "I am too, I always do love watching amateur Quidditch players grow and evolve over the years. It is an amazing thing like no other. If I hadn't become Headmistress I probably would have become a Quidditch Coach. At least this way I see magical abilities evolve as well as Quidditch. I'm thinking of doing a fun tournament where the students play the staff. It should eb fun if it all works out!" She said with a big cheesy grin on her face. "Training is always good, I miss the days of playing Quidditch at Hogwarts. You might just see me on the staff Quidditch team if it happens" she said with a wink

"You played Quidditch in your day?" Tiernan asked surprisingly. "What position did you play, professor?" he continued. "My father played for Gryffindor and so did my grandfather and his father. It is an absolutely amazing sport. The feeling of soaring on your broom through the open sky is a feeling like no other and I enjoy the competitive edge very much. Did you watch the Quidditch World Cup in 1994? I was there with my family, cheering on Ireland of course and hoping my cousin, Barry would bring victory home."

"Ah, yes, I did. I was the Seeker for the Ravenclaw team starting my second year. Ravenclaw rarely lost as long as I was on the team. Yes, you do have quite the amount of pressure going on there, don't you?" She said with a warm smile. "I know you can live up to it, you already do. " A wide grin spread across her face as Tiernan described the feeling. "Yeah it is quite an amazing feeling isn't it? Yes the competition is one of the best aspects of it. Of course I was there! I always find time to go to the World Cup! I was cheering on Ireland as well. I feel the need to seeing as I'm from Ireland. You excited that soon you'll be on the Hogwarts express?"

"Yes, I'll be able to catch some sleep on the Hogwarts Express," Tiernan grinned widely. "Ravenclaw? Yeah, my father told me that Ravenclaw and Gryffindor would have some exciting games against each other. I can't wait to play this year, I'm really excited. Hopefully, I will be picked captain again." he continued.

Ally laughed "I was always to busy reading to fall asleep heading to school. I was always reading the Arithmancy text book for that year over again" She said with a laugh. "Yes it seems these last few decades Gryffindor and Ravenclaw have been great opponents. Always good games. Yeah, I'm sure you will. You're an amazing captain." She said with a big smile. "Goodness!" She said lookign at her watch. "If you don't leave now you'll miss the train! I must go back to the castle. See you at the feast."

"Don't worry, professor. I can feel that this is Gryffindor's year! I can feel it in my veins." Tiernan announced proudly with pure confidence. He looked at his watch and saw the time. "Yes, professor. I must be going now. I have to stop by the Quidditch shop for a few minutes, but I will be at the platform soon. It was nice chatting with you and hopefully we will have more conversations this year! I will see you at Hogwarts!" Tiernan said, paying the owner and leaving the store.

Ally smiled at Tiernan and waved as he walked away. She then disappeared into the crowds heading to the Leaky cauldron so she could head back to Hogwarts.
