This is at the base of the waterfall, where the fresh water collects into a little pool before tumbling out into the sea. The pool's retaining wall keeps the salt water from invading during high tide, though at times like those the water levels are not that different from each other and a small hop will get an elf from fresh to salt water in a jiffy.

OOC: I will reset everyone in a general sense using the last poses from the previous thread. Please feel free to PM-bonk me if I get something wrong or this upsets you.
Relim's sprawled on a rock, drying. Blazingrock has just left the area by way of the cliff. Llune's sitting on the ground petting the tiger. Dancer's just offered Savith some of the juicier bits of fish. Peyote's by Savith offering to help. Savith is in the shade, starting on a cook-fire. Starsong and Adin Crosscurrent are not in the area at this time. It's currently near midday.
Savith glances at Peyote briefly as the fire he was working to light gets started, tiny twigs getting fed into it. "Can you... cook," he asks of the sun villager. During the faint pause, a brief glance was given to Dancer, most likely at her offer of the best morsels to start cooking first, though by the way the corners of his lips pull down ever so slightly, there may be something more to it.
Llune's send to him is replied to by his full attention, a faint sympathetic half-grin, and a send, **No, Mother, I'm sorry. This is all there is, but I shall endeavor to find some ediable fruits and nuts for you after we've all eaten and rested. This has been a full morning for all of us.** The feel of his mind is gentle, supportive, but dutiful as he adds, **Though, you really should eat some meat at every meal right now. Your child will need it to help grow.** And he should know! (And knowing is half the battle!)

Llune rubs the backs of the huge ears and hums a little. She sends to Dancer, ** Are you sure? I couldn't bear to pain the sweet creature... **
She doesn't return the send from her son; It would only be disappointment and quiet acceptance (as usual), so why bother? Instead she smiles and giggles at the big kitty who's clearly enjoying the behind-the-ear-scritching he's getting from the waif-ish elfess.
The smell of the cook-fire smoke causes Llune to glance up from her attention to the tiger's massive head in her lap. Mmmm. Fire grilled veggies. Oh. Wait. *sigh* Meat.

She notice the look given her and could not help but laugh. Savith was fun without being any real fun. His face said all his mouth must have wanted to. After giving him the fish Dancer quickly made her leave of him as she chuckled all the way back to her cat near the waters edge. Her own belly growled and made all sorts of noise at the thought of something to fill it. Placing little feet into the water she sighed and sat on the edge of the pool. Looking back to Llune she smiled, "It would be no trouble. You are so kind it would be my pleasure. Besides Fire Bright seems to like you well enough." A soft sigh of contentment escapes those full lips as she waits to eat. "We should dry some of the fish too I suppose so it doesn't go to waste. I'll lay some out shortly. I just want to enjoy this moment a seckond longer before I wake." Dancer wasn't really talking to anyone she was more or less just thinking out loud.

Llune nods quietly in response to Dancer's kind offer, a sweet smile upon her lips. The midday sun beats down and a cool sea breeze curls through the cove as the fire crackles to life. Soon the smell of fish filets and burned wood fill the area, and *surely* every elf in attendance is salivating for the coming meal. Not Llune, really, maybe a little but not much and definitely not by choice.
(OOC: I just did a real short pose to keep things moving - it seems like we're kinda paused!!)

Relim awoke with a jerk, he didn't realize he had been sleeping. As he sits up and notices he's dry, if not a little pink from the suns rays, he smells a fire, and the smell of cooking food. His mouth salivates unexpectedly. He had forgotten how hungry he was, which is usual for gobacks. You never know when food will be available. He begins to put on his nearly dry clothes and looks over at the others, watching as a few elves he doesn't know go about chatting with the others. He smiles and just sits, its great to have company of others again. He then noticed the very large predator near Llune and jumped up, groping for his sword, then instead of hearing shrieks of horror, he heard laughter, and voices. Somehow this giant tiger was not a threat, he looked around at the others, seemingly ok with all that is going on. His heart still beat fast in his chest.

Peyote nodded at Savith, frowning importantly at him. "Of course I can cook," she snipped in reply, dropping to her knees by the cook fire to get the fish going. As they started roasting, she stood and moved to find big flat leaves to use as plates. She muttered to herself, giving Savith a bit of a dirty look, "Can I cook? As if!"

Savith relinquished his place by the cook fire, silently thankful he doesn't have to do it. At Relim's start and grab for his sword, the glider paused, half-way to his feet, to peer at the go-back. **Calmly, warrior,** the Chosen sent privately, **There is currently no danger.** Thought sent, Savith continued to his feet and make his way, attempting not to look weary, to Llune's side. Folding his legs up under himself, he dropped down by her, green eyes taking on a worried hue. **Are you... feeling alright, Mother,** he asked privately as the tiniest of wrinkles creased his forehead between his eyes brows and a smallest of frowns pulled at his lips. **Other than hungry, that is. I know it's meat, but, it's all there is right now, and...** His mind, in that private touch, was oh so tired, reverting back to a younger feel, always worried about making sure that he was doing his job to the letter and beyond. A provider, and not able to provide what was wanted. It ached him so, and with the fear that a part of himself is missing, Savith's mind was clutching onto the familiar, that sense of Duty and care for Llune that had given him stability and sanity so many turns ago.

Dancer wasn't sure what she thought of the new elf cooking. A bit to prim for Dancer's liking but oh well, maybe once she knew the elf better. She wondered about Crosscurrent and what he was doing out in the deep waters. Was he safe? Did he find others like himself? She hoped he might. Then she watched Savith go sit by the kind lady. She had no idea yet this was Savith's Mother. Dancer was glad to see him so near her bond. Of course it made her smile. Fire Bright opened his eyes slightly as he looked in Savith's direction but was soon resting soundly again in Llune's welcoming lap. "Touch him Savith. Please." Dancer askes quietly. "It would be best if he got to know you all better." The big blue eyes nearly beg this one favor of him.

Savith looked over at Dancer with one brow faintly quirked as she 'begged' of him. He blinked once, looked down at the tiger, studied it a moment, then looked back up at Dancer. **Not now, thank you,** he replied curtly, lips still set in that unhappy little line. The curtness of his replied did good in hiding publically his fatigue. He just sounded more annoyed and rude than anything else.

Peyote looked up from her search near by, arms filling with big leaves, as Dancer spoke aloud. Curious brown eyes shifted to Savith, awaiting for an answer. When none, to her ears, came, she frowned and said tersely, "Well, aren't you going to answer her, or are you as rude and everyone always says gliders are?" evil

That smile is quickly lost at the gliders send. It looked as if someone just stepped on her feelings. With a soft sigh Dancer looks to the one cooking. "He did answer me." Her voice was low and she was extreamly good at playing the wounded bird. Looking back to her soaking feet Dancer sighed again softly and said nothing more.

"No he didn't," Peyote replies quickly, turning from Savith to Dancer. stressed "He hasn't said one word since I started cooking, and here you ask him a direct question and he just looks at you like a dumb old zwoot!" evil

Savith opens his mouth to reply to Peyote, when Dancer replies, so he closes it. Then Peyote starts talking, and he opens his mouth again, but as Peyote keeps at it, the glider just sighs tiredly and looks back at his mother without comment.

She looked over at the elfess and sent to her. **He said no. He hates my bond as much as the Huntress does. They don't trust him because he was hungry.** The send is full of over dramatic sadness.
