White and orange paws practically pranced through the grass, reaching the jungle edge almost effortlessly. Pausing, the lioness looked around. Where had she gone off to...? Letting out a grunting call, Kohpi listened, looking. She soon heard an answering call, following it without delay.
She soon found the dark lioness, resting under the shade of a wide jungle tree at the edge of its own lands. As her paws drew near, Kohpi frowned. "Ishara shouldn't wander off, she worries Momma and me." Placing a paw on the lioness' shoulder, she nudged. "And Shotonin worries about his mother wandering so far from his sight!"

Tail curling, the dark lioness smiled. "That's nice, dear..." She then stopped. Shotonin worried... With a slight groan, born from her poorly-healed old injuries, she rose up. As she started to walk, she stopped and looked off in the distance. Soon her green eyes returned to Kohpi, a smile still on her face. "Have you seen Sairin anywhere? I haven't seen the lion my son's become..."

Tilting her head, Kohpi could only shrug. "I has not seen seen him yet. I has only seen Shotonin and Mahewa." That was almost sad... Only two out of the older lioness' six sons. But she DID have a number of progeny... Nudging slightly, she started for home. "Come on, Ishara follows!"

It didn't take long for her to get distracted. Seeing the little green hare interested the lioness, who began playfully swatting at it. Chuckling, she caught it in her paws. "Silly cub, playing around my feet..." She licked it, ignoring the disgruntled squeeling. When she let it go, it ran off before appearing on Kohpi's back.

Sighing, the white lioness shook her head. "Ishara shouldn't chase Darshana. It's not good for either." She looked at the hare, sharing an almost worried look. She'd stopped calling the hares 'cubs' for a while, and recognised them AS hares... And now she'd made a step back. Why?

Only offering a shrug, Ishara began to limp on again. As time had passed, she showed more and more the signs of the broken leg, and some of the deeper scars pulled painfully on her muscles and skin. Pausing under a tree, she sat down to rest.

Depositing the hare, Kohpi allowed Ishara the rest by checking ahead. They were within sight of where her mother and younger brother were, as well as her own children and most of Ishara's children. Recently, her sister and brother-in-law as well as nephews had joined the lot. Assured they were close, she returned to the older lioness' side. "Come on, almost home!"

Rising again, Ishara began to limp for home. Was it home...? Even in her remuddling mind, she realised... Did she know where home truly WAS? Where they slept changed constantly, for fear of somebody attacking. She'd moved so many times... She had no idea what home even was anymore. Never in one place long, faces always changing... Few stayed the same. Looking at a cloud, she realised... She was like a cloud, ever moving, always seeming to change. Looking back, she flicked her ears back. "Kohpi... What is home...?"

The question caught her off guard. Stopping, the little lioness looked to the other, blinking. After a moment of thought, she supplied, "To me, home is where Momma is, and where my family is." Tail curling, she turned to Ishara, watching her carefully. "It's where my friends are, too. It's where my heart is, as well as where I currently sleep. Why?"

Only offering a shrug, the shadow of a cat smiled. "No reason, just wondering." She then began to limp on, ending the conversation. Home as she knew it soon came into view, as did most of her current young children. She hadn't seen little Moto in a while, which worried her... But she had other children to tend, so could only shed tears of grief at losing one of her daughters. Letting out a long sigh, she smiled tiredly and went back to the current den.

Watching Ishara go settle down, Kohpi looked to Darshana. "Shana, I'm worried..." Something wasn't right... "We needa find Shotonin, and somebody who can help her." Tail curling again, she went to find Mioyo. Who knew how long she'd be gone... Her mother would have to keep a close eye on Ishara, and employ Kabichi's help. The hare, returned to the lioness' back, could only hold on, and worry as well.
