WELCOME TO THE PRAYER REQUEST THREAD
Prayer is an extremely powerful thing. God is waiting to bless you, to work in your life. All you need to do is ask, to open your heart to Him. Let Him work inside you, just be still. If you invite Him into your heart, you can have peace with the knowledge that everything will be all right. Trust in the Lord and His plan for you. Sometimes going forward with God?s will can be difficult ? it was nearly impossible for Jesus to go forward when He knew what God?s will held for Him. But He went forward with the prayer ?let thy will be done Lord, not mine.? And Jesus died for our sins, so that we might have forgiveness. He would rather die than loose you to sin. He died for you specifically, and He loves you more than you can imagine.
God wants to help you, so if there is anything troubling you, you can feel free to ask us to pray for you. You can post it here, or you can PM me. If you want to keep your request confidential, that?s fine. If you want it to be displayed for all members to pray for you, either anonymously or with your name, then that?s fine as well. I will list the prayer requests for those who wish to be displayed publicly.
Mark 11:24 - "Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours."
PRAYER REQUESTS
NOVEMBER 2004
{Vondra} Pray for the health of her youth pastor?s son; for a backslidden friend and for a witness for him.
{+Katzumi Kuramochi+} Her mom has had some health problems, severe headaches and such. Ask God also for strength for Katzumi to get through this tough time.
{Famusamu} Request that all goes well when he speaks at Campus Crusade for Christ; also for other unposted requests.
{Seimeis} Pray for financial solution and healing, as she has to go into surgery to fix a painful and hindering jaw problem. Also praise for the job that Seimeis got not too long ago. Thank you, Lord!!
{[+match~stix+]} A friend?s salvation, as she is not close to God; strength for this friend to be able to not be influenced further by peer pressure.
{-=H!LT=-_-=} Strength to fight Satan and his evils when under attack.
{ZOEgirlfan4life} Prayer for friend Austin to not be further influenced by a Satanist friend, and for his return to the righteous path. Also for the Satanist, Keith, that he will become Christian again, and for his family especially for his older and younger brother and mother.
{that_fairy} Her boyfriend has just joined the army, pray that he will be protected since he is only 17, and that he will be saved. Pray for friend ?Fiona?, who is spiritually dead, that she will become alive by the grace of God. Pray for that_fairy to stay strong in her faith, and grow even more.
{luv4u} Prayer for her friend to be saved, as she is heading in the wrong direction. Ask God to grant luv4u strength to help this friend.
DECEMBER 2004
{La Luz es Linda} Prayer for her brother, who is not very close to God and whose friends might be negatively influencing him;
UPDATE: praise for the strength to face the inner coflicts she's been having, and for the return of her health! biggrin
{Fighter_for_Christ} Strength during times of spiritual and physical trouble (family problems, spiritual warfare, isolation). Also prayer for a friend who is going through tough times; her mom is not letting her move back home after the grandmother she took care of was moved to a nursing home and it's very hard on her.
{XXSnuffXx} Strength to be able to get out of depression and to stop cutting; also; her mom lost her parents and an uncle recently, pray for strength over the Christmas season.
{Sarise} Prayer for himself and a friend: an increase in self-worth and self-image, and support in their time of need.
{nO_UsE_fOr_A_nAmE} Prayer for her mother, who is drifting away from Jesus. Also, possibly suicidal friend in a scary situation. Pray for her strength to help this friend.
{Gambol} Safety as she and her dad fly to Romania, and for her mom and sister left behind.
{Meghan Mitsumi} General prayer for world leaders to receive and recognize God?s guidance on how to bring peace to the world, especially underprivileged children!
{jesusrocsmysoks} Getting over the hurt from a break-up with her boyfriend.
{ZOEgirlfan4life}Trying to decide whether or not to au-pair in Austria for a year. Pray for God's guidance for her, and also that she can get everything she would need if she decides to go.
{Ginzeng}Going on a missions trip to Mexico in March with youth group leaders. Please pray for funding etc.
{Ablazed}Prayer for friend Kait's health; she's had three major surgeries, and is in a lot of pain. Please ask for relief from pain, and that she can get back to school.
{Blazeychan}Pray for safety in Iraq as her base is being deployed in Jan. Also for the families left behind.
{Theopneustos}A change in his life, so that he won't become so easily angered. Also for the recent pain in his back; that it is nothing serious.

{everknight} Prayer for the survivors of the tsunamis (especially in Asia) and for their families and the families of those deceased!
{Glorified Soul} Prayer for the former Christian Bible Studies guild admin during a really tough time in his life; pray for strength for him and his family, for financial support and for jobs for his parents.
{xangel_00} Praise that no one got hurt in the car accident she had this morning, but prayer that all the insurance issues can be worked out sufficiently.
JANUARY 2005
{Kyoushi_HaraHara} Please pray that Kyoushi will be strengthened by the Holy Spirit in order to tell her mother that she has become a Christian. Also, help her to find good friends and be comforted when her boyfriend goes away to college in the Fall.
{ling ling nicegirl} Please pray for a situation she has in her life right now; pray for strength to get back to God, pray that she will recognize His will in her situation.
{Katane} Please pray for the bad conditions in KansasCity, as it was hit by a severe ice storm. The road conditions are terrible, many homes have lost electricity. Pray that the situation will get batter, and that everyone will be safe.
{Glorified Soul} Prayer for the souls of the non-Christians in this guild, that we might spread the light of Jesus Christ to them, and that He will give us the right words to say to them in any situation.
{Sealight3} Please pray for a missionary family in his church. They are serving in Peru, and need prayer for their health, their faith and their ability to witness. Pray that God will strengthen them.
Another prayer request for Joe Tindall (same church) who might have cancer; pray for his health, and also that of 'salukisprincess', who possibly has a hearing disability.
{-=H!lt=-Lvs-=Jesus=-4Ever} Please pray for his mother, as she has had severe headaches. Pray that God will show the doctors what to do, that she can be cured quickly.

APRIL 2005
{Glorified Soul}Pray for GS' mother, so that she may be healed by the Lord's touch.
{Fallen Sky}Please pray for Fallen Sky as she?s having a hard time coping with Luke?s suicide, and it?s affecting her sleep habits (she's sleeping better), family life and schoolwork. Ask for strength and healing for her and all those affected (Luke?s parents, girlfriend). Also for her uncle as he?s just gotten out of top security, and has turned to alcohol. They haven?t heard from the uncle or the grandmother yet. Pray that this situation will work itself. Also pray that her move back to her Dad's place will go smoothly, and for a friend who had a seizure

Ask God for strength for him through the trials, and that he can be provided with people who will listen and help. Pray that God will provide him with solutions to the issues he?s been having (car troubles, spiritual persecution etc.)
{Linn_bounty_hunter} Please join Linn in prayer as she intercedes for her friend Michelle, who has left the straight and narrow path and is living a very sinful life. Pray that Michelle?s eyes and heart will be opened to God?s truth.

You've done a fantastic job with this, Annika! heart I'd like to make a prayer request.
A dear friend of mine, Kait, has been in and out of hospitals a lot lately. She's had three major surgeries in the past three months, and she had to drop out of an entire semester of school because of it. She's in a lot of pain most of the time, and although she tries very hard to be brave and keep going like normal, she needs to take it easy. I'd like everyone to pray that she recovers, and that she doesn't have to deal with painful medical complications in the future.

I think that I will be receiving Christ soon, and I would like you guys to pray for my repentance and that I will indeed accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and savior in the near future. heart

Thank you to all who prayed for me. I am no longer sick, but I'm still fighting for some of my personal problems to go away. I would still like you all to pray for my brother, and I will definitely pray for all of you. Thank you.

I would like to request a prayer for former Christian Bible Studies guild administrator, LeDoux, as well as his family. Recently, his family was plunged into a sad state of affairs. Below is a quote he posted on CBS before his departure. LeDoux As you see that Im handing over the admin keys to mike_johnson. The reasons for this is that my life at the moment is changing. I will be losing the internet and maybe my home. My parents have been fired from their jobs and we cannot pay off the bills. Everything is going down hill in my life at the moment. Well, mine's a mixture of a praise and prayer request..
Today, as I was going to work, I got into a car accident.
The apparent praise is that I'm alive and no one was hurt. But the request is how the whole insurance thing works out. From how it turned out, the other car is blaming me for something that I see was mostly something that, well not my fault fully but theirs also.
Just pray for me that this little 'case' works out fine. The police said that it could've been at no fault, but I just hope things work out with the others.
