In the world of Abrasax communications are carried out by specially bred will-o-wisps. These small creatures are carried by all demons that are old enough to travel through the portal. The will-o-wisps are called Reciks by all demons, and they are all connected by magical forces. The connections are strong enough to communicate with any demon carrying their recik, no matter which side of the portal they are.
