The dog pens of the city, the coppers home, the jail house all different things meaning the one place where thieves of all kinds want to avoid. This is the city's guard house. Meant to stave off demons, keep criminals, and interrogate some of the more unsavory types. Several guards can be found here at any hour of the day or night.

Literal dog pens and stables are off to the right of the building. Inside the building there are Cells used to hold criminals, it's obvious from the amount of guards that the farther back in the building you are, the more high security the place gets. Another hallway leads off to where the off duty guards spend their time, including bunk beds and a kitchen. Apparently those who uphold the law live where they work

Sometimes Generals, or others of the more gifted or well birthed tend to come down here to see what life in the city is like.
