What are your all-time favourite games? You can list just a few, but I'm sure you'll end up coming up with a longer list like mine (I was trying to only list five...). Also, why are these your favourite games? Do you really just like the music, or do the graphics completely floor you?
And no, I don't expect you to write long descriptions like mine, unless you really want to. smile

These aren't in any paticular order:

Final Fantasy VIII - PS1 //
This is the first Final Fantasy game I ever played, and I was absolutely hooked. I thought it was so amazing, and probably wouldn't have really gotten into gaming so much if it wasn't for this game.

Fable: The Lost Chapters - xbox //
What I love about Fable...is that you don't have to be the good guy. You can be good, then bad...then a complete a*****e, and then a complete saint...if you feel like playing that much (or have enough money to do so).

Double Dragon V: The Shadow Falls - SNES //
I was never actually good at this game, but I remember having a lot of fun playing it with my dad and younger brother.

The Flintstones: The Rescue of Dino & Hoppy - NES //
When I was a kid, I even had Flintstones clothes, so yes, a Flintstones game had me totally addicted.

Super Mario Bros. All Stars - SNES //
I don't know anyone who doesn't like this, or associate it with happy times during their childhood. o_o;

Donkey Kong Country - SNES //
I was actually pretty good at this game when I was younger, though now when I go back and play, I seem to have lost my knack.

Katamari - PS2 //
All I have to say is "LOL". The King comments seriously make the game a million times better than it already is, and the music is catchy and cool.

Kingdom Hearts - PS2 //
I love movies and cartoons, so seeing a lot of these characters in a game was pretty damn awesome to me. Also being able to spot a character and immediately place where they're from made me feel smart.

Motor Toon Grand Prix - PS1 //
This was actually my younger brothers game, it's very cartoonish, but the races were fun and had some pretty cool tunes. Playing this makes me feel insanely nostalgic, you have no clue.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - N64 //
I remember renting this game over and over again from the local video store, since I couldn't find a copy to buy anywhere. The only thing I hate, is the damned owl...

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker - Gamecube //
I love the cute art for this game, I think it's just amazing. The sound effects and music too, I just love them! I played this constantly after it first came out.

Legend of Dragoon - PS1 //
Saw this in a store, and despite having never heard of it, I had to get it. It was seriously worth however much I paid for it (which was probably a bit back then, since it was just out).

Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time - such a pretty game, with challenges, good clichés, stunning graphics (for its era), good sense of humor, nintendo cameos and a powerful and ugly bad guy!

Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask - Bigger, better and scarier! The pressure of the moon being about to fall down made me sweat more than once, plus, it has bigger enviroments and dungeons.

Yoshies Cookies - So so sooooo cute, I had to put them in my posts 3nodding

Suikoden: You had to collect 108 allies for your rebelion against the evil goverment. The down side was, you father was one of the big generals of said goverment. And if you lost one of your allies in a fight, an ether would suffice, but if you lost them in combat, lost for ever. I kept resetting my plystation to repeat the battles, I did not want any casualties. Also, when an enemy general was captured, you could choose to kill him or make him your ally. Again, if you decided to kill him, kaput! It also had a village full of cute pretty fluffy canine kobolds 3nodding

Suikoden II: Better battles, no ally casualties (except for one, almost at the end of the game, unchangeable and that made me cry shamelessly), more pretty kobolds and bat people (not vampires, a differen kind of stuff), huge dungeons, better allies, better story line, better badies (Prince Luca was seriously twisted) I ADORE that game. Really. I'd make a statue for it. If I wasn't lazy.

Threads of Fate - You had to play this one twice to get the full story. You could choose between a spoiled pretty princess, named Mint and a misterious amnesiac boy, called... uh... I don't remember. Good, I prefer Mint, anyway. It had its flaws, like very limited enviroment and color palettes, but it made up with creative dungeon themes, great spells, like the boy who could become any monster he defeated, and good weapons, like Mint's two huge rings. It had a super cute candy and pretty stuff plataform dungeon, owned by the Witch of super cute things and a great sense of humor.

Legend of Mana - What can I say? Beautiful 2d graphics, non linear strory, lots of characters, deep stuff disguised as jokes, jokes disguised as phylosophical bits, and, most important of all, the possibility to choose the gender of the main character. WE NEED MORE GIRLS IN VIDEOGAMES scream Girls that are not just fanservice scream

That's all I can remember at the moment.

ZOMFG. Be prepared for a wall of text! xd
All right, not a big as it could be. I'll just pick a few for now. Probably post edit more in later or something. xd

Killer 7 - PS2
It's an on rails FPS/3rd person adventure game with puzzles similar to Resident Evil.
It's got a crapload of plot twists and a story so bizzar you might end up looking at an FAQ to explain some of it when you beat it. xd

Devil May Cry 3 - PS2
I just keep coming back to play this one.
Probably because I love the over the top crazy action in both the game its self and the cutscenes. xd

Disgaea 2: Cursed Memories - PS2
I've already got 275+ hours invested in it, and there's still a ton I haven't done yet. xd

Tiny Tank - PS1
It's a pretty fun game, gameplay wise (though there's this one boss I can't beat, YAY LEVEL SELECT! xd ), but that's not the reason it's one of my favorites. It's because of the between level cutscenes. xd
Youtube Video of a Cutscene.

Chrono Trigger - SNES
I can't even begin to count the number of times I've been through this game thanks to the New Game+. All I know is all my characters are wa~~~y up there in levels, and I have a crapload of super equipment. xd

Armed & Dangerous - Xbox
I like it for pretty much the same reason I like Tiny Tank, but it's gameplay is a lot better with crazy weapons like the Land Shark Gun, which is exactly what it sounds like, it's a gun that creates sharks that swim through the ground and eats enemies. And it's between level cutscenes are freaking hilarous too. xd
YOUTUBE LINK!

EDIT:
Tomba! and Tomba! 2 - PS1
Both are side-scrolling action/adventure games where you fight evil pigs. In the first one, because they stole your gold bracelet, and the second one because they kidnapped one of your friends. I like it because it's characters are great, and the fact that you're fighting evil pigs makes the game humerous and even more fun. xd

Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation - GBA
It's a turn based strategy RPG featuring giant mechs, robots, and space ships. There's a lot of customization to do, after each battle you get money and sometimes parts and weapons for your mechs, which you can use to upgrade weapons to do more damageo or certain features of the mechs, like their HP, SP, speed, and armor. The mechs themselves are really cool looking and have some pretty insanely awesome special attacks.

Mole Mania - GB
It's a puzzle game featuring Muddy the Mole (supposedly considered for a Brawl character) who has to rescue his family from the Farmer. It's a really unique game since you not only solve puzzles above ground, they also usually require you to dig holes and go underground, tunnel about, and dig other holes in other places while also avoiding enemies. There's eight (or was it 9?) levels, but I've never been able to get past 7. xd But fortunately for times like that, you can just come back to it later and go to another level.

Space Griffon VF-9 - PS1
It's and FPS with adventure game elements. You and your comrades have been sent to the Moon colony HAMLET to find out what happened to all the people there. Your mech can assume three forms, It's Humanoid form is slow, but it has the best attack, then there's the Assault form, which is a slightly smaller target and boasts better defense and speed at the cost of some attack, and it's Scout form has great speed and defense, but can't attack. The story is really good and was what first attracted me to the game.

Tiny Tank!!!! <3333333333 We had a demo with that on it, it was soooo much fun! I need to find that game...brings back such good memories!
Also, I should buy Disgaea, it always looked so cool, I just had other games I bought first. x_x

I hear that a lot from people. O_o
They played it on a demo disc but never got it. NOW THEY KNOW WHAT THEY MISSED OUT ON. xd
As for Disgaea, number 2 is easier (for me at least) than number 1, and is more easily obtainable at a relatively low price of about $20 (here at least) new. If you want a new copy of number 1, you go to rosenqueen.com where you can get it for $30 rather than the obnoxious prices they tend to chage on eBay.

More games added. I figured I'd just edit them into my first post. xd

I had the same problem actually. It was way back, when the stores here either got a game immediately (VERY RARE), got them in a few weeks to a couple months (What usually happened), or not at all (Which usually happened with the ones I really wanted).
I finally got a copy off of eBay a few years ago. xd

God's In His Heaven...
ahhh so an ever expansive list of games *claims this post for list XD*

well lets start with old old school arcade games shall we

my all time favorite game ever is gonna have to be *without a doubt* Galaxian, why is that you ask, well its because I remember going into the laundry mat when I was 10 and seeing the arcade game, asking my parents for a few dollars in coins and walking over to it DEAR GOD, I played that game for 4 hours straight, probably dropped about 10 dollars in quarters in the end *didnt make my parents happy but hey I was a cute kid and got away with some stuff XP* but by the end of the 4 hours I had memorized the movement patterns of the game XP.
My next favorite Arcade game is pacman, thats another one that i have *over the years* probably dropped a couple hundred *more like htousand* dollars in XP of course once I got the gamecube I bought the namco musuem pack and never again payed to play.
I also love the Street fighter, tekken, M Vs C series, and pretty much any rail shooter game XD arcade's = the win XD infact me and a friend are tyring to start an arcade up, where gonna go and purchase EVERY arcade game we can and open an arcade that we'll call THE ROOM OF DOOM arcade XD
okay now onto game's on systems.
well LoZ is one of my favorites, I love it for the puzzles, simple as that, though the storyline is also good. My Favorite zelda game would have to be ALttP, followed by OoT and then TP, my least favorite is any Oracle game, the minish cap, Phantom hourglass, and MM is also on the least favorites but its one Ill tolerate, You might have noticed from my intro post that I'm one who considers Zelda games to be Action/adventure Puzzle games, this is because they are more closely related to those rather then RPG's, however as the creaters of Zelda hasnt come out and called it one or the other I wont flame you for calling it an RPG, I respect others opinions on this one XD.
next we have the RE series, I love this just because I love zombie games *including zombies ate my neighbors greatest zombie game evahhhHhhhhhh XD* my favorite RE game is RE1 *and then list them numerically till3* after 3 I like CVX, 0, survivor, 4. my least favoirtes are the outbreak series and the dead aim game XD.
then there's the FF series ahhh some clasic RPG action XD I like FF just because I loved the story lines and plot developement XD, FF7 is of course my favorite *followed by 6,5,4,3,2,1,8,9,12,10,10-2, Crystal chronicles/sequel, VII DoC, VII CC.
then the tales of symphonia, my favorite RPG game ever, this game drew me in from start to finish XD I just all around loved it, talk about a long game with literally hundreds of plot twists XD
KH1 is on this list too, it gets here due to its opening scene *i love that song XD* and its epic storyline.

well I hope your not bored after reading this *sorry for typos*
...All's Right With The World" NERV

EDITED- OMG HOW COULD I FORGET THE HOUSE OF THE DEAD GAMES XD, I LOVE THE FIRST 2 OF THEM, 3 WAS OKAY, AND 4 WAS DECENT, BUT ONE AND TWO ROCKED XD AND FOR SOMEREASON MY CAPS LOCK IS STUCK ON XD there we go
PostPosted: Tue Jun 03, 2008 5:03 am

As far as arcades go, I heart House of the Dead II & III. Never got to play the first one. I also have very fond memories of playing the X-Men arcade game at my local Pizza Hut. xd
EDIT: Never got to play the fourth HotD either (didn't even know it existed). Arcades in Alaska are pretty much dead, other than the occasional cabinets in one of the malls.
