AIM RP with Felyn. <3

Gee
It didn't feel real, coming back to this place after so many months spent away, lost in tidal wave after tidal wave of memories. It had been hard, remembering her and the way that she'd been- such a strong, fierce and beautiful warrior. At first, he'd tried to forget everything; from the sound of her voice to her bedazzling smile. All of his efforts were for not, however, because it hadn't taken much time for Polemoja to realize that she was just as much a part of him as the air that he breathed. He could never forget her, and was suddenly incredibly ashamed of himself for wishing that he might.

She deserved so much more than that. She deserved to be remembered, especially by him and little Adva. Oh, Adva.

Moja sighed so heavily that his bones rattled and shook his head as he strolled, with a slightly wary expression on his face, across the border that marked the begining of the Kunanda'Nakhun pride lands and the end of all other worlds. This was his home. He'd been born here and, even though he knew that most of the landmarks would remind him of his lost lover, Moja understood that there truly was no other place for him. Besides, he had a daughter to think about and Moja couldn't honestly think of anything that could be better tribute to his lady.

Now that he had returned, Moja would see to it that Adva grew up to be a proud and determined young lady- regardless of whatever rank she might hold.

Felyn
It was a busy time in Tejasvi's life. She and her mate had recently given birth to the next generation of the Nihang clan, and between them they had produced twins that were both suitable to be heir. It would be a long hard road raising them both, but one day, one of them would take her place, and one of them would rise to fill the Nihang's council position.

As it were, even with a nanny to take care of the cubs while she wasn't training her daughters, it was a hectic life. A queen's job was never an easy one, and coupling that with the job of a newfound mother - well, now more than ever she needed a little alone time. She was walking along the borders of her land, just outside the jungle barrier, a shocking blue spot against the green foliage behind her. It was nice to have a moment to herself, even if this was also a duty in and of itself. Scouting the borders was her favorite past time, a job that let her think, but still a job none-the-less.

She paused to stretch her limbs, flickering her gaze out over the horizon, and her gaze settled upon the distant figure. Immediately, her stance became one much more wary, standing her ground, a proud queen. Once he came closer, however, she recognized the male for who he was, and an immediate frown settled upon her mug. She may not have oftened bothered herself with males, but this one had stirred a bit of a problem among her own clan, and she wasn't sure whether she was pleased or angry that he had chosen to return.

Regardless, she drew herself into that well known regal stance, head high and limbs stiff and still. She let her gaze lay steadily upon him as he approached, waiting for his greeting.

Gee
Moja spotted her immediately as he drew closer. The queen of the Nihang clan, whose colors were so bright she seemed almost to pop right out of her surroundings, had always been a beautiful creature but, as as he watched her watching him, Moja felt a harsh chill shoot up his spine. All at once, his senses were bombarded by a prominent urge to turn around and return to the foreign world- where he would be alone, sure, but also where he wouldn't have to face the consequences that he knew awaited him upon his return.

Somehow, despite his sudden terror, Moja managed to push forward. Later, when he had some time to himself, he'd come to the conclusion that the loyalty he still felt towards his lost love and their only daughter were what helped him find his way home.

At this particular moment in time, however, with Tejasvi looking at him as though he was lower than dirt, Moja was embarassed to admit that he'd almost forgot the reasons why he'd bothered to return in the first place. He had to forcefully remind himself that he deserved whatever punishment he got. A crazy smile of disbelief found it's way onto his face when he recalled that he would probably have to punish himself. What could possibly be considered suitable?

He didn't greet her instantly, as he was unsure as to what he should say. After some time and careful deliberation, however, Moja finally cleared his throat and knelt before her. There weren't any words that he could offer her- even though he knew that he should.

Felyn
The young queen quirked a brow as he knelt down before her, watching him in silence for a few moments. It was intriguing that he hadn't tucked tail and run the way he had come, or began to beg for forgiveness upon sight, and that alone made him a little more worthy in the Adhi-raj's eyes. Males knew their place here, however, and he knew as well as she did that his actions were considered improper amongst the pride.

"You have much toh to pay, Polemoja," she said slowly, carefully, in a voice that was not harsh, but might have been less chilling if it were. She was glad that he was not female, and thus not tied to any clan, or his sins would have weighed upon them heavily in his absence. Males, sometimes, did end up with the lucky end of the stick in her opinion.

"Are you prepared to face that? If you are not, you should leave and go wherever you have been hiding this long while and pray that the goddess takes pity upon your soul come judgement day." Her face was stern, eyes unwavering as she stared down upon his knelt figure. He had crimes weighing against him, and she would not be kind with him. Had he not run out on the cub, she would not have cared where he went.

Gee
Moja had done far too much running over the course of the passed couple months. The love he'd felt for Bee, which was the name he'd called her whenever they were alone, wasn't something they'd advertised. It wasn't necessarily against the rules for a female to love a male, as they were allowed to take life mates, but it wasn't exactly something the rest of the pride supported either. Bee had wanted to keep it a secret, for the most part, and had claimed that it'd be more fun that way- like an adventure. Moja was also quite sure that the queen would feel no more remorse for him, even if she knew the true nature of his relationship with Adva's mother.

"I'm prepared to face up to whatever I must," he managed to keep the tremor out of his voice, and it came out soft and respectful as he nodded. Moja was was ready to do whatever it took to earn his rightful place as father. Otherwise he would not have come.

Already, the gears in his head were turning as he tried to determine what might be the best way to pay his toh.

Felyn
The queen had no real idea over the relationship of Polemoja and Adva's mother, and it had never really been of her concern. She was not interested in females and the males they chose so long as they didn't act like blumbering idiots in public where everyone had to see. It was fine to love a male if that is what one wanted, and it didn't go against the beliefs of the individual clan, but public displays of affection and adoration were still considered taboo.

It didn't take an idiot, however, to realize that something had to have happened to cause the male to just up and leave. Unlike a lot of females, she did realize they had brains (perhaps because she spent so much time around Chizoba) and used them. She suspected he must have had feelings for her on some level, because he had disappeared around the time of her death. She wasn't sure if it was one-sided, or if there was a relationship, and she didn't care to dig. It didn't excuse his actions, and it didn't change her opinion.

"Adva is being raised by her mother's cousin, my cousin," she said, face still and stern. She had heard the soft and respectful tone, but she wouldn't take pity - she was sure he didn't expect it either. He was behaving as he should, so at least the outside world had not robbed him of his common sense. "She is too old to require your care now, however, and you are not to seek her out. If Ilisaea or Adva come to you, only then may you speak to either of them, is this understood?"

Gee
Too old? How could that be? For the first time since he'd returned, Moja's expression gave way to the emotions that raged beneath his skin. For an instant, his face fell and he looked as if she'd slapped him in the face, but it was gone almost as swiftly as it'd come. Of course Adva was much older now. It'd been many months since Bee had passed away, and even long since his little girl had been a cub. It broke him a little to think that he'd missed out on so much, and now he wasn't even allowed to find her!

Sense argued that Tejasvi had every right to inhibit him with such rules. He had done nothing to deserve her pity or any kind words, for that matter. Moja was willing to accept whatever it was that he had to in order to reestablish his place, and the perks that it meant for him, in their pride.

"I understand," Moja said evenly, but he couldn't resist asking just one question, "As for my toh- My queen, I wonder if I might be able to repay your cousin for taking care of Adva."

Felyn
She saw the flicker of emotion pass over his face, though she held fast to her own emotions as it did. It was too bad that he had missed out on his daughter's life, for she did believe a male had a right to that witness the growth of his own cubs. Still, it was his fault when it came down to it, and she would not let herself feel sorry for him. If he had wanted so terribly to see his daughter grow, to be a part of her life, he should have stayed.

"That will be for Ilisaea and the council to decide. You may present your decision to her, and the council, but she will not be forced to tolerate you if she does not wish to." She would not make a female tolerate a male to pay back his toh, not for anything, and though she was sure Ilisaea was not the sort to mind it, she would not answer for her.

Gee
Time was such a fleeting thing. When he'd left, Moja had been too deeply immersed in his own grief to consider the effects his absense might have on the other members of their pride and, most importantly, Adva. He understood that he was responsible for the time he'd wasted away from his daughter, but that did not not make this particular situation anymore bearable. In fact, it had simply served to intensify his regret. He had made many mistakes, and now he had to pay for them and make it up to Bee.

"Thank you," Moja nodded to show that he had understood, "I'm grateful for this second chance."

He was quite sure that Tejasvi was not required to accept his return and that, if she so wished, she could demand that he leave whenever she liked. It was only fair, after all, that she have the right to kick him out when he'd left voluntarily the first time. Moja would never want to eliminate his little affair with Bee completely from his memory, as many of his most memories starred the beautiful lioness, but he did wish he'd had a better hold on his grief that day.

Felyn
Tejasvi would not turn away any member of the pride, at least one that was not causing problems for them all directly, for everyone deserved a chance to repair their Toh. It could be done without being in the pride itself, but it was exceptionally hard to pay back those that one had harmed if they were not around to witness the punishment. He deserved the same chance as everyone else to repair his honor - male and female alike were treated equal in that regard.

"You receive what you deserve, Polemoja, nothing more and nothing less," she said with a curt nod. She turned to glance over her shoulder at the jungle, her eyes sweeping the area she could see for lingering females. She knew scouts were never far off, they were always lingering close.

"I think it is time that you returned to the males, now, and began your life in the Kunanda once more." She nodded to him as she spoke, dipping her head slightly in greeting, in a welcome back home.

Gee
"Of course," Polemoja nodded in agreement, ever the compliant male he'd been raised to be, ducked his head and started in the direction he remember the male clan to stay. As he moved passed her, Moja was careful to stay out of the queen's personal bubble, and even offere her a small, half-hearted smile.

There were so many familiar smells and sites and, yet, there were also many new things to discover. As he walked, he noticed a couple of trees that had fallen in his absense, and a series of bird sounds he'd never heard before. After such a long time spent away, where men were expected to do more than take care of children and listen when they were told, it felt incredibly good to be home.

The closer he got to his clan, where he'd spent most of his life, the more he started to think about what the future would bring. Would Adva seek him out? Would Tejasvi's cousin agree to letting him repair his Toh, by aiding her? Would the other males welcome him back, or shun him for the leaving?

Felyn
She turned to watch him walk away, her eyes settled upon him. She still wasn't sure if it would have been better had he not come back at all, at least for Adva's sake, but it was not her decision to question where the gods sent the members of her pride. He would pay his Toh, and that was all that truly mattered in the end. Perhaps something good would come of this.

Turning away, she let out a long sigh of relief, letting herself relax from her regal stature, and began her walk once more. Her duty never ended, even when all she sought was a little relaxation.
