Gee
It didn't feel real, coming back to this place after so many months spent away, lost in tidal wave after tidal wave of memories. It had been hard, remembering her and the way that she'd been- such a strong, fierce and beautiful warrior. At first, he'd tried to forget everything; from the sound of her voice to her bedazzling smile. All of his efforts were for not, however, because it hadn't taken much time for Polemoja to realize that she was just as much a part of him as the air that he breathed. He could never forget her, and was suddenly incredibly ashamed of himself for wishing that he might.
She deserved so much more than that. She deserved to be remembered, especially by him and little Adva. Oh, Adva.
Moja sighed so heavily that his bones rattled and shook his head as he strolled, with a slightly wary expression on his face, across the border that marked the begining of the Kunanda'Nakhun pride lands and the end of all other worlds. This was his home. He'd been born here and, even though he knew that most of the landmarks would remind him of his lost lover, Moja understood that there truly was no other place for him. Besides, he had a daughter to think about and Moja couldn't honestly think of anything that could be better tribute to his lady.
Now that he had returned, Moja would see to it that Adva grew up to be a proud and determined young lady- regardless of whatever rank she might hold.

It was a busy time in Tejasvi's life. She and her mate had recently given birth to the next generation of the Nihang clan, and between them they had produced twins that were both suitable to be heir. It would be a long hard road raising them both, but one day, one of them would take her place, and one of them would rise to fill the Nihang's council position.
As it were, even with a nanny to take care of the cubs while she wasn't training her daughters, it was a hectic life. A queen's job was never an easy one, and coupling that with the job of a newfound mother - well, now more than ever she needed a little alone time. She was walking along the borders of her land, just outside the jungle barrier, a shocking blue spot against the green foliage behind her. It was nice to have a moment to herself, even if this was also a duty in and of itself. Scouting the borders was her favorite past time, a job that let her think, but still a job none-the-less.
She paused to stretch her limbs, flickering her gaze out over the horizon, and her gaze settled upon the distant figure. Immediately, her stance became one much more wary, standing her ground, a proud queen. Once he came closer, however, she recognized the male for who he was, and an immediate frown settled upon her mug. She may not have oftened bothered herself with males, but this one had stirred a bit of a problem among her own clan, and she wasn't sure whether she was pleased or angry that he had chosen to return.
Regardless, she drew herself into that well known regal stance, head high and limbs stiff and still. She let her gaze lay steadily upon him as he approached, waiting for his greeting.

Moja spotted her immediately as he drew closer. The queen of the Nihang clan, whose colors were so bright she seemed almost to pop right out of her surroundings, had always been a beautiful creature but, as as he watched her watching him, Moja felt a harsh chill shoot up his spine. All at once, his senses were bombarded by a prominent urge to turn around and return to the foreign world- where he would be alone, sure, but also where he wouldn't have to face the consequences that he knew awaited him upon his return.
Somehow, despite his sudden terror, Moja managed to push forward. Later, when he had some time to himself, he'd come to the conclusion that the loyalty he still felt towards his lost love and their only daughter were what helped him find his way home.
At this particular moment in time, however, with Tejasvi looking at him as though he was lower than dirt, Moja was embarassed to admit that he'd almost forgot the reasons why he'd bothered to return in the first place. He had to forcefully remind himself that he deserved whatever punishment he got. A crazy smile of disbelief found it's way onto his face when he recalled that he would probably have to punish himself. What could possibly be considered suitable?
He didn't greet her instantly, as he was unsure as to what he should say. After some time and careful deliberation, however, Moja finally cleared his throat and knelt before her. There weren't any words that he could offer her- even though he knew that he should.

The young queen quirked a brow as he knelt down before her, watching him in silence for a few moments. It was intriguing that he hadn't tucked tail and run the way he had come, or began to beg for forgiveness upon sight, and that alone made him a little more worthy in the Adhi-raj's eyes. Males knew their place here, however, and he knew as well as she did that his actions were considered improper amongst the pride.
"You have much toh to pay, Polemoja," she said slowly, carefully, in a voice that was not harsh, but might have been less chilling if it were. She was glad that he was not female, and thus not tied to any clan, or his sins would have weighed upon them heavily in his absence. Males, sometimes, did end up with the lucky end of the stick in her opinion.
"Are you prepared to face that? If you are not, you should leave and go wherever you have been hiding this long while and pray that the goddess takes pity upon your soul come judgement day." Her face was stern, eyes unwavering as she stared down upon his knelt figure. He had crimes weighing against him, and she would not be kind with him. Had he not run out on the cub, she would not have cared where he went.

Moja had done far too much running over the course of the passed couple months. The love he'd felt for Bee, which was the name he'd called her whenever they were alone, wasn't something they'd advertised. It wasn't necessarily against the rules for a female to love a male, as they were allowed to take life mates, but it wasn't exactly something the rest of the pride supported either. Bee had wanted to keep it a secret, for the most part, and had claimed that it'd be more fun that way- like an adventure. Moja was also quite sure that the queen would feel no more remorse for him, even if she knew the true nature of his relationship with Adva's mother.
"I'm prepared to face up to whatever I must," he managed to keep the tremor out of his voice, and it came out soft and respectful as he nodded. Moja was was ready to do whatever it took to earn his rightful place as father. Otherwise he would not have come.
Already, the gears in his head were turning as he tried to determine what might be the best way to pay his toh.
