I will behonest waching it the first time through I did not like Kate. and when the ad came out that one of the team was going to die, I was hopeing it was her. but then she did and I felt bad.... sad
I have all the sesons that have been released on DVD and rewached it and realised I didn't give kate a fair shake.
*bows head for a moment.*
so I would like to ask. witch do you like better?
Kate or Ziva?
would you go back in time and stop the bullet knowing if it ment Ziva would never be apart of NCIS?
what do you think?

It's a hard choice but I'd have to pick Ziva. Kate was cool and all but It's really funny to watch how Tony and Ziva get along. So, sorry Kate, but I'm going to go see if Ziva will teach me how to shoot a gun and through knives.

Personally Kate and Tony didn't connect as much as with Ziva. Also, the actress herself only left because she couldn't handle the physical work (yes I AM so obsessive as to know these things) so Cote de Pablo is just better in my opinion. Kate was loved though don't get me wrong. Ziva's just grown on me better... and i'm a tiva shipper... shhhh

I too have to go with Ziva. I have to say i don't see the whole tony/kate in love thing. It seemed like a more brother sister thing to me. I must admit that I too am a Tiva lover 3nodding

Seeing as when i came up to watching NCIS, i came by the time Kate was already dead so i say i like Ziva better.
but idk i could of ended up liking kate if i've seen more of her eppys.

I have to say, usually in a show I like the original characters best, and dislike when one is replaced, however, Ziva is that rare exception. (as well as Lindsay in CSI NY, but thats another topic....)
I am a Ziva/Tony shipper, but I did love the relationship (more brother-sistery I agree) with Tony & Kate too( I mean honestly, he is never going to go through Ziva's purse, because well.. I don't know if she has one... but also because she would kill him... with a paperclip.)
I probably like Ziva more, but probably because she is in more episodes, and I read more fanfics with her. I do like both of them, but I also liked how the series progressed, and would not go back in time (even if I could) to save Kate.

I like both Kate and Ziva, and I think it would be interesting if Ziva and Kate got to be on the team together. (Poor Tony...it'd be pure torture. xD)
If I did have to choose one, based on the relationships with the other characters, it would be too difficult. Kate and Ziva both have interesting relationships with Tony, and Kate's interaction with Abby always amused me somehow. But I think I would choose Ziva in the end. Just like Tysmi, I liked how the series continued, and I've seen Ziva in more episodes. I've gotten used to her.

I gotta say that as much as we loved Kate,
Ziva was an awesome replacement.
I think that most fans prefer Ziva coz we've seen her character develop alot more, and as a result, we connect with her more.
Having said that, i would agree that Ziva was an awesome addition to the cast.
NOTE: my opinion maybe slightly biased as i'm a TIVA fan =D!

I liked kate but in my opinion she was missing something, her character didnt flow like the rest and didnt really connect to the others very well. So i have to say i like Ziva better simply for the fact her character is portrayed better than kates. Oh and also because i too am a Tiva fan 3nodding

I like Ziva better. I didn't like the whole Kate/Tony. I can totally see Ziva and Tony together though. I mean I like Kate, but Ziva's better.
