Sibalto danced along the shadowed paths of the forest, his heart lighter than it had been in months. His beautiful daughter had three foals of his own... His mate and he were happy... His first son in love... If only he could find Ferraro, or somehow know he was well... That would make his life perfect, for now... He delighted in offering guidance to those he met that sought it... Had always had a knack for instruction, even if it was just in the dance... And it made him happy, made others happy. With an arch of his proud neck he picked up his pace to a floating trot, the wind dancing through his mane and tail. Today was a fine day. "Bring on the day..."

Kanati had stayed home in the forest this day. For days he had been traveling all across the soquili lands. He sought knowledge, knowledge that he did not already have. It was the spirits he felt that had led him to do so. As those whom knew him, he was a spiritual soquili in every way. He felt the spirits of the wind were his second mother, his eldest friend and the spirits of the land and sky were his teachers. There was not a day that he didn't think of others, he was never one to put himself first.
There were few things he didn't know and those things are what set his hooves in motion. Not long down the path did he hear the hoof beats of another. It never failed if Kanati followed the wind, he would meet someone. He smiled at the sight of the other stallion, he seemed proud and happy, it seemed as though his glee could rub off on someone feeling down.
"Greetings and Peace be with you sir!" Kanati called out in his deep almost echoing voice.

Halting squarely with an arch of his neck, pawing playfully at the high grass. He tilted his head at the Unicorn stallion, then bobbed it in a greeting. Try as he might, he couldn't get rid of his wide grin, so he just let it be, smiling. "Greetings and Peace to you!" He rumbled back. "I am Sibalto, a stallion from across the Sea... And you sir are no doubt a native of this land, it is nice to meet you... Pleasant day, is it not?" He glanced around.

"Yes I can tell where you are from, I was part of the greeting party with the Kawani village for you and your pale two leggers. I'm glad to see some choose to stay, some received you with less welcome then you deserved. My name is Kanati."
Kanati made the rest of the distance to Sibalto, he had heard that the soquili from that land had never seen unicorns till they came here. Well if he was looking for things he did not know, certainly a soquili from across the seas would be well worth talking too, not that he wouldn't spend time with this soquili if he wasn't it was just a perk.
"It is a beautiful day, as are many days of the summer in this land. May I ask you a question?"

"Were you now?" Sibalto asked in interest, eyeing the stallion a little more closely. Did he remember? Well, there was something faintly familiar about this unicorn.. Perhaps they had met. "Thank you for your kindness... My staying was a bit of accident, and a bit of fate.. But I am glad to be here.. It has become home." "I have found this land holds great beauty." He nodded in agreement, tilting his head and tipping an ear. A question? Interest lit his dark grey eyes. "Ask away, Kanati.. I hope I have an answer for you!"
