The dust on the dirt path that wound around the meadow stirred, whipped up by the draft from Izusa's wings as she circled low, then landed, back hooves first on the ground and front shortly after. It was another lovely spring day, sun out, flowers blooming, grass being tugged by errants breezes. Izusa snorted derisively; it was sickening really. Wings folded against flanks, she wandered across the grass, half-heartedly snatching up mouthfuls, chewing and looking around for any Soquili that she could tease, or scare. She'd be very bored if she didnt find one.

Jamal_Reedy
She probably wouldn't have to look long.

Chogan out for a good graze, his maw jammed with fresh grass at the moment as he watched the sky idly (and coincidently the other half of the sky that Izusa hadn't flown through). He was content to spend his days alone, though sometimes he'd catch a glimpse of a white and black striped mare now and then. Being as shy as he was, he always looked the other way until she moved along. It wasn't just the fact it was a mare either; he shied away from almost ANYTHING except for his fox friend. Mares just happened to give him that extra jab of insecurity.

He was a pretty large stallion with bold paint markings, but that's where the impressiveness ceased; he was a damn wuss otherwise.

Sayuri_Nitta
(( Chogan is smexy XD Funny that he's such a wuss ))

Izusa would have clapped if she could have, instead she just smiled enough to show her fang-like teeth and strolled over to the strikingly marked stallion.
'Hello there,' she said in a faux sweet tone, coiling her tail and the tendrils trailing from it about her as she stood near to Chogan.

A small and delicate wrist flicked a whisp of hair from in front of a pair of bi-colored eyes. The golden brown color of her hair shimmered as it flopped back onto the indian's head, falling over one of the many silver spots caused by her stress over the years she'd been exiled.

A sigh floated from her full lips and she froze in her steps for a moment when a twig cracked faintly some distance off to her right. What had that been? Her eyes focused closely on the source of the sound, only to find a pair of the most gorgeous horses she'd ever seen in her life.

What were those spikes on the back of the one? Where had the other gotten those striking colors? Remarkable. Normal horses didn't have these colors. Were these the Soquili that both Crow and Choteka had been talking about?

All that Banhi could do was stand and attempt to push her jaw back up to it's normal place while everything in nature told her to run. Even the trees, who's voices she could hear very clearly, told her to run away.

((Not that good, sorry.)) ninja

Chogan's head snapped around at the voice and he swallowed the mouthful of grass hastily, eyes immediately darting AWAY from the scary mare and focusing on a tree over her shoulder.

"Uh...hello," he echoed uneasily, ears twittering back and forth about the curls of his mane. Oh god, what did this soquili want? He hadn't even noticed that she was a bit different than other soquili he'd met.

Sayuri_Nitta
Izusa could practically see the panic rolling off the stallion, and she huffed inwardly...no fun if he is already skittish! But well, one did what they could.
'Are you okay?' she asked, keeping her voice as 'nice' as she could make it.
'You aren't afraid of little me are you?' she forced a giggle, as though she was one of those other fluffy brained Soquili mares.

neokitsune
((Yeesh you guys are fast. XD))

A small sigh came from Banhi's mouth and she smiled at these beautiful Soquili. She could barely understand what they were saying, but they were incredible. The dainty indian tried to focus her ears to hear the words being said from the Soquili's hearts, but it was harder than if they had been a normal horse or another creature.

Shanyee moved over her cheek for a moment, her eight legs moving slowly.

Shanyee said from her heart to Banhi's.

the delicate indian responded with her own heart.

She took a gentle step forward and a twig gave a loud snap.

Crap.

Jamal_Reedy
"Nothing is wrong," he lied, and did so rather badly as a quiver passed over his flanks in betrayal. "I...I was not expecting company."

He dared to let his eyes fall away from the safety of the sky onto the mare's face and his eye twitched spasmically when he saw the spikes, the teeth, and the wings. What the bloody hell was he talking to?

"...should I be afraid of you?" he mumbled uncertainly, not answering the question directly but the tone of the voice clearly indicated he was worried at the least.

And then he heard a twig snap and his head momentarily swung around and caught sight of an indian not too far away.

Oh god. He was going to have a heartattack. D:

Sayuri_Nitta
(( *snickers* ))

Now that she had his attention she flicked her tail gently, the seperate tendrils moving as if her tail was alive with serpents.
'Oh but I am very special company.' Izusa said, reaching out with one wing, letting it fold open and the clawed tips graze Chogan's side.
'It depends...sometimes I can be very frightening.' she let the wing fold and settle again.
'But I'm sure you won't want make me resort to being scary will you?'
At the new sound she turned, snorting at the sight of the human and dismissed it immediately. They were never worth her time.

Banhi made a face and walked a little slower towards the beautiful and at the same time, cruel looking horses. Well, the one did look a little frightened rather than cruel.

She flicked another stray whisp of golden hair from her strange eyes with a delicate hand. She gazed at the horses and took another step forward.

"Aren't you pretty." She said mostly to the male Soquili in a very soft and quiet voice, but the female was very incredible in her own way as well.

The delicate indian didn't want to get too close, the male seemed to be rather scared of her. Putting one of her thin hands on her hip she leaned her head to the side and simply contented herself with gazing at the gorgeous horses.

She to Shanyee with her heart's words.

Shanyee answered in her heart.

A breeze caught Banhi and whisped her shaggy short hair about, making the braided threads on her breast strap to flutter gently. The wind was giving her a warning as well. Be afraid.

Chogan flinched openly at the brush of spikes to his coat and only resisted the urge of sidestepping at the veiled threat that rolled off the mare's tongue.

"Uh...no. No I'd rather you not become scary," he stammered, thinking at the same time that she was already rather frightening and wasn't sure how she'd become MORE so. "I don't do scary well."

The approach of the indian only made his heart race further. He knew he should have stayed in his hiding place today. When the two-leg said something to him, he whickered nervously. Was she threatening him?

Sayuri_Nitta
Izusa wondered at the human's boldness..walking into kicking range wasnt a good idea; but saying that, it would probably lead to all kinds of drama if she did that, so she kept her hooves firmly on the ground.
'But you are such a big, strong stallion,' Izusa arched her neck gracefully, laying it on thick..one could almost see the little devil dancing on her shoulder.

neokitsune
"Oh no, it's okay." Banhi said to the male, looking at the expression on the face of the female and stepping to the side around her and away from those sharp looknig hooves of hers. Reachiing down into the small pouch she'd fastened to her pants, she pulled out a pair of apples and held them out to both of the Soquili with her small hands.

She was a little scared, but she was keeping it down in her heart, rather than show it or let the Soquili feel it. They could get angry if they saw the fear, or get more afraid themselves. Therefor, Banhi kept her beautiful face placid and only showed a smile to them. The sun shimmered in her golden and silver spotted hair as the wind blew again. What did it mean though?

Shanyee warned one last time before crawling her spider self up into Banhi's thick hair.

Chogan facefaulted at the mare's words. Him? Strong? It was almost laughable if he hadn't been terrified of ticking the mare off.

"Thanks...I think," he huffed uneasily, now side stepping a little as the human approached. She was digging in some pouch thing...oooh apples....

He shot a glance at Izusa, wondering if she'd take the apple. The stallion wasn't sure if the offered treat was safe yet he could smell them and they had a normal scent to them...

Sayuri_Nitta
Izusa's nostrils flared at the food the human was offering, and she stepped forward slowly. She lipped the fruit, then grabbed it with her teeth delicately...before dropping it and stomping hard with a cloven hoof into the fruit. Stealing food from the Village was one thing; taking it from their hands like some beloved 'pet' was another.
'Foolish humans,' she sneered, then looked at Chogan, eyeing him sharply to see if he was that kind of Soquili.

neokitsune
Banhi's smile didn't falter as she watched the winged and horned Soquili stomp on the apple. That one she had expected to do something like that. The other would probably not even take it, but it was all that Banhi had in the way of food anymore, so it was all she could offer.

Her delicate hand stretched out a little further towards the black and white male, her movements careful. She didn't want to scare him anymore, but she also wanted to show him that she wasn't going to hurt him.

((Yes Firefly, but I see you as the strong, dominant type...you could OWN him. ;D He could be your slave.

Chogan: ..... gonk ))

Chogan felt the female's daggered stare fall on him and thus didn't dare take the apple after seeing how she treated the gift. When the indian then tried to reach out to touch him, that was too much.

The mare was given a pained expression as he skittered backwards, nearly tripping over his own hooves, then turned abruptly and galloped away hastily. This was all too much for him.

((Alright, I gotta go here soon...thanks for the RP!))

Sayuri_Nitta
(( *giggles*
Take care Jade ^_^ - twas fun =))

Izusa tilted her head back, letting forth a neighing laugh at the stallion's rapid retreat. So rapid it had been, she had not gotten his name or given her own. She would seek him out again. He was most amusing. Now that he had gone though, she had no reason to stick around, and with a flick of her tail, turned and cantered away from the human, heading to purloin her own food from the Village..
