Welcome to the Toy Box

This is a topic dedicated to a concept that I hope is unique to my guild.

I will provide items that guild members can borrow to equip to their avatars. I'll post some rules below, but I need to say a few things first.

At least to start with, these items are coming out of my own inventory. That means I worked hard to get them. If I ask for them back, for my use, or someone ele'se after your time is up, and you refuse, I'll just ban you. If it happens too many times, I'll stop doing the Toy Box. This is a perk of the guild, so I have to be able to trust people.

This Toy Box can be really cool, but I don't want to be the only one contributing. So, I'm willing to pay 2/3 of the cost to buy new toys. If you want to contribute, you need to send gold, items, or gaia cash to me, or my mule Lady Hebi, I can't use it if its in the guild account. Don't worry, I have plenty of my own gold, I'm not going to run off with it. You can post suggestions for new toys in here and I'll put them up to a vote, when I get 1/3 of the price in donations, I'll buy whatever wins the most votes by then.

You can also offer up a list of items you would be willing to lend out. I know this is risky, so I'm backing your items with my own gold. If someone borrows your stuff and doesn't return it, I'll replace it myself, no matter the current market value. If you're willing to do this, just PM me a list of items you'd put in the inventory, and I'll post them here, under your name. If you do offer up items, you can make point suggestions on them that I will take into consideration when posting them.

In order to avoid the probationary period, a point system will be used to determine what items you can borrow. Your number of posts equals your avaliable points. If you don't have enough points for an item, you might as well not ask for it. I hope this will encourage active members. BUT, you must remain active to keep you borrowing privilages. If you go to long without posting, I'll ask for any items back and ban you under the assumption that you no longer wish to be part of the guild.

Occasionally I, or the owner of a toy may grant permission to use a toy out of your point range, based on special merit. For example, if you make me a banner I'll let you use a toy woth 5 or 10 more points one time. These special permissions will be given subjectively, and are to encourage members to help advance the guild. So don't ask for privilages, just do what your willing to do for us, and if you get one, good for you. I may alaso use this privialge for prizes in contests.

RULES OF THE TOY BOX:

1. You must have enough points to borrow an item (points are in parenthesis after the item name)
2. Post a request with what you want to borrow in here, then I'll put your name and due date next to the toy and send it to you.
3. Each person is guarenteed 21 days to use the toy. After that you can keep it unless someone else wants it.
4. If I PM you with a request to return a toy, gift it back to me or the owner within 1 week, or you lose toy privilages.
5. The owner of the item may postpone lending for any reason.

That's what the points are for. I didn't like the probation, but I don't want people coming, stealing stuff, and disapearing. Now, as long as your active you can borrow cooler and cooler stuff. And it promotes activity. So, no probation, and you can borrow anything your points allow you to. (Check the member list, your number of posts is your points score)

Anything you want. We can use pretty much anything. And if we can't, we can convert it into something we can use.

Aww. Some things are reapeated when different people have them. I guess it would be good if more than one person wants to check them out at a time.
