This is the backround story to my two OC's Rima and Dearth. It goes back to their childhood and explains why Dearth is the way he is.

No this isn't the whole thing, im in the middle (not really) of typing everything up which follows a very very basic outline and everything gets filled in as I go so it'll take some time. Feel free to come and go as you please though ^^

Q: Why is the title "Daimon and Dearth"? Shouldnt it be "Rima and Dearth"?
A: you'll find out!

The morning sunrise was colorful in celebration. The village heads' first son had just reached the fine age of eighteen. After this day, he was to begin training to become the leader of the village. It would be tough, but his parents knew he'd be able to do it. Their second son was only seven but he knew what was to become of his older brother, he didn't mind so much. The parents smiled as their eldest son went to play with his younger brother, what would seem to be for the last time.
"Dearth! C'mon! This is supposed to be a party, but your just sitting here," Daimon scolded his brother who was sitting under a tree reading.
"But this is a really good book," Dearth whined looking up at his brother, Daimon smiled.
"This is the last day we'll be able to play together, you can read tomorrow," Daimon said as he took the book.
"Hey! Don't lose my place!" Dearth jumped up and tried to grab the book. Daimon snatched a leaf from the tree and placed it in the book,"There." Dearth grabbed his book and ran to put it on the table. He turned to walk back to his brother when a group of boys as old as his brother bumped into him to go where he was about to go.
"Daimon Daimon!" they cried in joy to congradulate him. Dearth looked sadly at his brother as the group decided to go fishing. He turned to go get his book again when someone tapped him on the shoulder.
"Dearth come with us," Daimon held his hand out and smiled. Dearth smiled and grabbed onto his brothers hand.
"Aw, Daimon, not Dearth! Why does he have to come?" the other boys argued,"He's not good at anything!" Dearth's eyes watered at the hurting words and reached for his brother to pick him up.
"Thats not true," Daimon said distainfully at the others and picked his brother up to put him on his shoulders,"He can do anything we can, sides, this is the last day I can play with him as a kid." The others mumbled but went along with Daimon.

Dearth was a somewhat misunderstood child, yet he was developed more than his age. He liked to sit on his own and read, the adventures within them captivated his mind. His brother would joke and ask where he was going to go when Dearth picked up a new book. Dearth would always smile and tell him about the pirates, princesses or whatever was contained within the books contents. His library was his sactuary and if you couldnt find him, you'd know where he was. He seemed to be mature yet innocent at the same time. His red eyes would water if he was picked upon and the normal childish nature outside of reading lead others to believe he was going to be a scholar. His dark blue hair was always cut in different ways as if Dearth himself were using the scissors to style it; so far, right now was his favorite cut.

Daimon was the perfect son, in anyone and everyone's eyes. He behaved, did what he was told, was the perfect leader and was strong. Everyone loved him. He liked to play with the other boys his age but what really sparked his interest was his brother. It wasn't an incestual kind of love, but an admiration. If you asked, Daimon would tell you he'd choose his brother over their parents.
