All right, the tally was now two n' o and he'd yet to do much of anything. The girl had given him a slight run for his money, but it'd worked out all right and he hoped she'd learned a lesson just as he did, which could be considered a rarity, and thus he hoped she treasured the fight like he did no matter how short it may have been. His second fight had been with Masamune's new companion, and in the end it was Masamune that had doomed him, though Niak wasn't exactly to be left out of the credit. Kain had done very little fighting in the end and had considered that to be a victory of three: Niak, himself and Muramasa. And now, with his third fight approaching, he'd wait patiently in the makeshift crystal throne opposite the doors to the arena, way back across the pearl and marble stones of the floor. He'd promised to give Muramasa a bit more action this time and allow her to prove she was just as good, if not better, then the D-Angel techniques, or at least show him that she could amplify their power. Thus, it was to be a fight with Kain through and through this time and should he fail to use Muramasa the majority of the fight he may just lose her. Hell, she'd issued him the same threat if he'd fail to land the killing blow with her blade. He was one for Chaos, but the chaos of a woman's ego was almost too much for him. And so not he, but they would wait upon that throne with Kain sitting comfortably waiting for the next challenger and Muramasa resting against his left shoulder, waiting for Kain to prove himself worthy once more after nearly six centuries.

Richard entered the area. For whatever lurking eyes or ears might have been there, for whatever safety purposes, he was still masquerading under his spontaneously made-up name, Sir Charles Remmington, so conveniently named after the razor that he'd usually shave with. Due to his child-like appearance, it also came with an odd trait where he did not have to shave often, it just didn't grow quickly at all. But he'd let his identity slip if he felt it was safe, such as his first sentence. "I've been hearing some things...And you've been showing off your ego a lot lately. Allow me to remind you why I'm the president. If you can manage a fluke, I might actually reward you, but if you get cocky, I'll swat you down without second thought. Care for some sparring?"

His wounds were just barely healed after being stabbed the one he thought to have kidnapped his cousin. Fame was growing toward Justyn indeed. First Rick had lied about his defeat of a dragon making him a local celebrity, and now with what he told Cat about the man who kidnapped his cousin, he knew who to set his revenge on. He hoped Cat would realize the similarities, and try to see his true colors. Either way, Rick knew who he was going to fight after dealing with kain...Thus, he would make this battle as quick as possible. Blitzkrieg...

He'd stare at the man as h spoke, not really studying him but rather grading him. At this point he'd rather argue with Muramasa about the fact she was overkill on the guy...but his "Boss's" arrogant comments shut him right up and made em' think twice n' settle for the second. This whole time Kain's left thumb would force Muramasa from her sheathe via the guard and slide from under it, allowing the blade the "shink" back in to it's sheathe. He'd repeat this process over and over like a nervous habit, though he was simply bored.

"Y'know, it really pisses me off you guise yourself as I do. Tell me, how far can you actually go as far as your glamor goes?" He'd finally stand, though it was a slow process that'd lead to the sound of the leather of his tench bending. He'd look to the beautiful chandelier above them, and with his neck still crooked allow his eyes to drop to stare at Eleck once more to begin his Test.

"Wie viel denken sie, dass sie wissen? Vous vous pensez le superieur a moi? Esti tu acum ignorant la spre al tau place in lume? Ego mos non indulgeo vestri ignarus neque nec vestri superbia scum. Come, let me cleanse you." He'd grin having recited what were now ancient languages but used to be four common languages along with simple English. He'd erect an AP Field about himself and Muramasa forcing himself to hover to keep from falling infinitely through the ground. An EM Field would surround that field, and form around Muramasa as well. He didn't need anymore defense, he knew that, thus he'd live up to his promise to Muramasa and use her as offense. In doing so he'd open the tip of the two fields about a foot for Muramasa's tip to escape through and plunge her tip in to the ground. Now, one obviously knew Kain liked to use Rifts and Pocket Dimensions to hide, but they were quite the attack at well and Muramasa's specialty. The ground he once stood upon and Eleck still did would shift in to a gigantic pocket dimension waiting to just suck anyone in. Again, he was eliminating the floor as a battlefield which always gave him and edge. This particular Pocket Dimension would lead to a variation of a certain place the Germans liked to call Holle, which was in turn just a bad place. Time for his "Master's" rebuttal.

Rick smiled, quite amused by the disappearance of the floor. He chuckled just once, then actually put his foot so very close to it, sarcastically teasing Kain. "Ooo-OOoooo," he said as if he was about to slip into it, almost the way a child would tease someone by not quite touching them, especially if they'd said to stop touching them. He seemed to hover above the missing floor, and then raised himself up some to end all hopes of him slipping right through. "Fool...Don't you know what a cube is? You take out one side...well, there's just five more. I like that trick, though. I'm going to have quite some fun with it later. And now, I'll be attacking."

From his hand, he gathered somewhat close to Kain. Obviously not an idiot, he would put himself nowhere near striking distance, as it would have been foolish, but from his hand emitted a very dangerous presence. His main power was to control electrons. Free-floating electrons aimed at Kain meant only one thing, and quite simply put, it was that he emitted beta radiation from his fingertips. It was not easy to synthesize radioactive waves or particles, but he could manage well enough. "I hope this doesn't affect you too much, that would both spoil my fun and mean that I've attacked first. I only mean to put on a show for you like you just did, no matter how useless."

"Ego absolutely contemno is quidam quaedam quedam quidam superbia quod vel magis ut I've been guaranteed alius securus pugna!" This would be said to himself as he'd create that, well, what was hopefully becoming famous Pocket Dimension behind himself, slip in and shut it and reemerge from the point B specified only by his own limitations of his knowledge of Pocket Dimensions. Which was infinite, for the most part. Thus, acquiring a point B over Eleck was a breeze. Apparently Eleck didn't know what the hell "set-up" attacks were, thus it was easy to call in to question his tactics and strategies in general, if he had any.

Anywho, as had been done many times before in previous fights, this whole move would take all of 0.2 seconds for Kain, still rambling as he came out of the "Exit Portal" above Eleck with the Muramasa held horizontally, blade aimed at Eleck. Kain would shut his own hide up and press is left hand to the blade of Muramasa, reciting, "UNLEASH!" As he would Muramasa would bey, unleashing a small fragment of power on Eleck in the form of a repetitive gale force wind with a perimeter of exactly 30 meters not only letting out wind but also charged -steams- of whatever that were there just to overcharge anyone of the electrical element and burn anyone else. To back it up even further the wind was releasing the toxic miasma filled with that flesh-eating virus Kain so loved. Even if this, that and the third somehow didn't hit him, the wind of 63mph, not too much, but enough, should be forcing him towards that little pocket dimension to Holle he'd opened earlier.

And what the hell had Eleck hoped to accomplish with electrons against someone with an active electromagnetic field and an immunity to chemical and biological warfare? Someone wasn't reading their papers. He also sucked at taking in his own surroundings if he thought this arena was built like a cube; Kain was paranoid about being boxed in if he didn't have to be. It'd take a look around to figure out the shape of the place, but oh well.

Rick was standing over by the closed pocket dimension by the very moment Kain went through it. He had anticipated it fully, he could see in Kain's eyes and body language the exact moment he'd erect it, and so with creating an electromagnetic force of his own, he had propelled himself away at immense speeds, almost, if not surpassing sometimes, the speed of sound. He could surpass it many times over if he pleased, he was like ammunition in a rail-gun. "As I said, Kain, useless." He knew what a set-up attack was, he just didn't think it was a good one.

His electromagnetics weren't what was holding him up, though. He wasted absolutely no energy holding himself up, and it was up to Kain to figure out how. Apparently, Kain didn't know his favorite weapon. His favorite weapon was now all around where he had been, and especially around where Kain was this very second. "Oh dear, you're far too slow." Not only did he refer to his wonderful reflexes, but also his mental ability. Kain just fell right into a spider's web, to speak. Rick's hand raised up, and binding wires closed their grip around Kain like a cuccoon with a tug. He also was willing to venture that Kain didn't know an equally powerful electromagnetic force could cancel his. That allowed the wires to work: They were like nerves. The were bits and pieces strung together with his own power, thus one part could be outside of the fields, the other inside. Tricky. More could slip in, as small as they were, if they averted the fields as well as avoided them. From the reaction, Rick started to figure a long while ago that his power included being able to cancel, or manipulate the fields.

This was the especially important part, and the main reason Rick was able to move with Kain almost similtaneously: When his hand went out to produce the radiation, also he'd flung wires, and the tug is what keyed him on to move. From almost the very beginning these light, thin, unnoticable wires had been on Kain, and now they were heavily concentrated. Now, he'd use his magnetism to pull in Muramasa, and try to deflect it and drive it into the nearest surface. If it worked, he'd immediately secure wires all around it to make sure it, or Kain, didn't pull it out. "As I've been saying, a cube. Didn't you know I wasn't talking about the shape of the room? Everything is three dimensional." He supposed that wasn't a fair assumption with Kain's pocket dimensions. Although, with his wires traced through it now, holding it open, he got an idea of how they worked.

Not bad. He could be given props for this one. He'd avoided the fields and managed to throw Muramasa from him...which was somewhat of a blessing. Their agreement, between Kain and Muramasa that would be, was that so long as she was in hand she'd be his only means of attack. Without her, well, he was free to do what he did best. Again, the boy hadn't done his homework hence why he wouldn't be able to finish Kain off, not like this. Bio-immunity to chemicals, germs, etc. was one of the greatest perks of all times. Hell, there was only a single way to even reach the nerves that made up his body and he doubted this boy would figure it out. His body didn't need a complete nervous system to run, hell, he didn't need a human form. He'd been highly, HIGHLY shunned by everyone else like him for keeping a humanoid form and going so far as to even replicate organs and the nervous system.

He'd look to Muramasa which would simply dematerialize rather than plunge in to a damn thing, then look to his body. Well, unless this boy had enough restraint with the wires to withstand a megaton of pressure via his movement, this was all very elaborate but pointless. He wouldn't be nearly as upset if they were material wires given they'd of broken off in the AP Field, but mental...psionic...that really pissed him off. He wanted to play mental games? Fine. He wanted to play with attacks that one couldn't avoid? Fine.

His first target: Parietal lobe of this man's brain through simply psionic injections. Concentration of psionic energy way no different than that of normal energy, though it obviously had a specific target one could not see. It was a simply matter of playing with the brain and feeding it readings the nerves weren't sending it. Take the parietal lobe of Kain's victim. Unless he had some godly way out of this, Rick's body was going to think it was very, very, VERY cold. This would be the kind of cold one could only find by being submerged in to the waters of the arctic. This was just for fun, and he wouldn't bother with the speech and touch centers of the paritiel lobe for now. Next up would be the Frontal lobe. This was far more, an actual way to affect the nerves of lesser beings. He'd just need to send the message "shut down" to end this game. He could float there lifeless for all Kain cared. Occipital and Temporal would come simultaneously. He'd force Rick to see, well, this was simply a mind hack. It was a matter of going "see this" and him seeing it, so Kain had decided all this talking of cubes would suit forcing Eleck to see himself in a box. This was a matter of mental corruption and psionics all at once. What would he hear? Just a nice, high-pitched ringing meant to pop his eardrums over time, but not too quickly. There'd be no fun without pain.

Now, all three lobes of the brain would be attacked, but why all four at once when it was stated only two were done simultaneously? Well, it only mattered how fast one could think. For instance, how fast would it take someone to read one word then the next in a paragraph? That was, in proportion, the speed of these attacks.

Now then, the grand finale was a bit of a test. Kain by this point would prove he wasn't a novice when it came to mental matters, thus creating a bit of a mental bubble about himself that'd act just like the AP Field, only meant to scramble and tear apart mental/psionic energy wasn't all that hard. It'd shoot out from his body, forcing those wires to piss off, though he wouldn't stop there. Instead, he'd shoot it out with a thundering boom in perfect circumference, stretching for 300 yards in total perimeter before it'd die off. If his psionic attacks had hit Rick, they'd fade off with this "attack" of sorts, proving Kain was still just ******** with him one way or another. The wires would be torn to hell one way or another, and he was getting bored. Wires were only fun when you used them right and this was a pathetic usage. Thus, he'd summon his throne over the center of the pocket dimension from ice crystals about the air and take a seat casually, and as he would, Muramasa would make another appearance and plunge itself in to the top of the dome-shaped arena, forming a complete pocket-dimension all around them, on the roof and each wall. Escape would be impossible. Muramasa would then fall from the roof right in to Kain's right hand which would be gripped and tapped against his throne.

"I'm sorry you live in a world of so few dimensions, Rick. But I don't. I've seen what you could only hope to see and been to places you'd beg me to take you. I believe it's my job to re-open these doors for you so you could see these things for yourself given you've seen the final result...but why the hell would I take someone that can't even amuse me for more than a few moments? Nur bloss erst ein feigling mub resultat zu geistig anfalle als ihre hauptsachlich methode uber anfall zu vertrauen auf uberleben und sieg." Such a sigh he'd then produce.

"Kain, shame on you. Quit worrying about how little homework I do, and do your own. You should know brainwaves are based upon a frequency, and don't you think I'm the better of the two at that kind of thing? What is the brain except something to control the electricity throughout the body, even my thoughts are just made up of basically that...Which don't you see what it means? I'm ever learning. My brain's more like a computer. In fact, I don't even use it...I don't need to, the way my nerves are controlled is RIGHT HERE IN MY HANDS!" (no wonder he's insane...)

He was having fun with his own electromagnetic fields. "Electricity is alive, and I'm just a body to it. Let's end this foolish waste of time right this instance. You'll learn something about me, I learn quick because of my endless space to think." He talked all the while making use of the open pocket dimensions. He'd learned how to open his own, his intelligence was vast and powerful--his best tool. After taking himself several places about the room just toying around and dodging, he fixed himself in a safe point. Next, he put himself right in front of Kain's face and let off a flash of light several times greated than the sun, in attempts to blind him. But escaping that through the dimension, he lost his grip of it, and couldn't get it back. Quickly, he found he couldn't open them. That trick was only because of his manipulating wires, which had faded. But now he hoped for safety that Kain was blind. He waited to see the results. All the while he readied his weapon.

Again: His body didn't work like it looked like it ought to. While looking human no part of him short of speech and this and that worked on a humanoid level. He hadn't evolved to this point to have human flaws like the inability to manipulate light, much less how much you took in your own self. It was a big, pointless flash to him. But now worries, he'd have enough time to realize something opened in front of him which he'd immediately stab Muramasa in to. He'd seen a lot of really annoying dodges and escapes thus far, but there was no logical dodge to this. Once the light would clear he'd arch a brow at Rick wondering what the hell was going on. It took massive amounts of energy, far more than a human body could hold to use these things...and he was trying after simply seeing them?

Well, this was fun, annoying, and a thousand other things, but after he'd arch that brow he'd immediately send out an AP Wave stretching out from his body to encompass their entire field. This was becoming drawn out.

"You just don't understand my control of electrons, do you? I can even affect my own. Why, you barely even..." he paused, and his eyes opened. A sharp pain arose. His nerves were affected before, but now that the mess cleared, he felt the piercing stab. It was right in the spot Justyn had opened his flesh before. It hurt, a lot, and Kain was going to pay for this. Despair set, then truned to rage. "You b*****d...This is where things are going to get fun." His electromagnetism held him up now. He loved his nearly limitless energy, having control of electrons. Pain only pissed him off. Now it was his turn.

"You watching, Kain? This is where it gets fun!" He balled himself up, groaning, and charging up his attack. He started in an almost yell: He was building up static. "I don't care who you are, you can't say you're not phased by pure energy. You can't even use an insulator, because as much as that would block it, it doesn't stop it: You're taking damage any way you look at it, Kain! Just don't get too close, because that'll make it hurt far more!" His mass amounts of energy were making him tremble, and meanwhile he averted some to stoping all the electrons around him now. There was now no light at all, because they weren't jumping energy levels to make photons of light, and neither was there any vibrations, sound, or otherwise, because none of them carried it. It was basically like a black hole. Could Kain handle the lack of all senses? It gave peace to Rick, calmed him so he didn't tear himself apart in the ordeal.

Yup, that would be a lot of energy. Kain had a couple of options here: Show "the boss" that Kain was a God in comparison to him or humiliate him. He'd go with the second just 'cause he'd hope it'd bring more rage to him, which always made him happy. People sad, hurt and/or angry always amused him.

To this point, he'd only shown people the Pocket Dimensions and given a brief glimpse of the absolutely Godly power of the Time Dilation process, but he'd yet to show people what to do to stay right next to them while they went all berserk or what the hell ever. A simple shift once Rick would start babbling from the physical plain to the astral plane. Ever heard that theory that ghosts, which would exist on this said plain, sought out energy 'cause it fueled them? This was true, at least to this case. Kain wasn't absorbing a damn thing or tinkering with the energy, though, just watching as Eleck would try and get the upper hand while his left hand would charge half of the D-Angel: Halo and the right hand charge the D-Angel: Catastrophe. Sure, Rick might have unlimited energy, but that only worked to someone's advantage when they wanted to overload someone. For now, he'd just wait to see Rick's reaction to seeing Kain as no more than a shimmer. This was a bit closer to Kain's real form. Not really, but more so than the human form.
PostPosted: Wed Jun 04, 2008 12:44 am

"Kain, stop messing around. If you're off in the astral plane, that means you've left the battle field. I might just well take that to mean that you've retreated, forfeited...Have you? Think about it for a second, didn't you just break the rules? I don't care if you are still here, but being there does mean you left, just like having one foot in a classroom while the rest of you is elsewhere. In fact, should this be over, I might not decide to stop this attack...maybe I will...Or, maybe, I'll follow you in. Don't tempt me. As much of a brain as I am, don't think so little that I don't know what you're doing...And truth be told, I know I can take you because I've been feeding off your thought frequencies, slowly dissecting them, then learning them." He wasn't at all even disturbed one bit by Kain's appearance as a shimmer. Truth was, with Rick's preparation to blind and dull all of Kain's senses, it was still true that Rick didn't see it at all. He could feel Kain's presence still, though, by his own means. He wans't a normal UH either...He'd reveal something disturbing "Kain, did you know I used to be Human?" Used to be, but was he still? Or was he like Kain now?...

"I've seen the arena destroyed and the fight still went on. If it's a defense you can't handle, then by all means, continue pissing yourself over it." If he'd been feeding off Kain's brainwaves...well, he wouldn't of been. Again with the whole 'Doesn't work anywhere near the same way' deal. So, to base anything off of what would be 'learned' from Kain would be bullshit. It was this kind of rambling bullshit that really pissed him off.

Truth of the matter be: These weren't the normal D-Angel, as would be proven as they, not Kain, would materialize in the center of the arena fixed to constantly send out EM Fields, then AP Fields. The five D-Angel: Halo's surrounded the Catastrophe. And the whole set-up would work as such:

Given that electrons only sent out a negative charge, the Catastrophe would absorb it each time a positron became present -other than- the Angel's specifically altered streams. No doubt Eleck would try to use Kain's energy, and he was welcome to try if he wanted a living electricity to enter through his systems and systematically eliminate each nerve one by one. The point of the Angels was to spin around all pointless-like and zap at Rick with positive charges charged enough to create sonic booms upon impact. They were essentially super-powered positrons similar to what would be needed for certain big bombs. But, these "zaps" would only occur where electrons were put off. So that was obviously there to blow em' to hell given the built-up static from his own damn attack, thus when they were materialized all six would simultaneously attack. Again, the logicality to this escape was to be questioned. The Catastrophe was just there to rob Rick of what energy he could try to use, mainly if he tried to use any of his own positrons.

Kain on the other hand would shift his way from the Astral Plain to his beloved close Pocket Dimension to watch the chaos and make sure that if Rick would try to escape in some Godly way he'd be able to jump out at that same time and take a strike at him.
PostPosted: Wed Jun 04, 2008 1:27 am

Rick was fully charged. All this bluffing, the lies about feeding off thought process, the lies about all the different attacks, he even lied about the intent of charging up. Now was time to bring facts. "Kain, I bet you didn't think far ahead enough to realize...Though I control electrons, which are negative, it doesn't mean the power I use to do so is attributed as such." He laughed. "Now let me show you the intent of this pointless display..." Such a charge, much like a railgun or a bolt of lightning, he allowed himself to move at the speed of light. He moved away, then toward, then away again, and all around. His path resembled an electron as he circled Kain's attack in its entirety, slowly drawing the bits of power away, only to not meet with him exactly. Missing him by a bit, then floating off nowhere, much like misleading a heat seeker.

"For my next move..." Rick, in another form, went right to Kain and he was going to do that wherever he went, several times over discharging a storm of electrons, built-up static or otherwise known as lightning. This was all based on his superiority of electrons. Eliminating them from his path made it like outer space, where there is no resistance to friction, but leaving his ever driving energies. Removing such an obstical allowed him to travel at many more times the speed of light, not only to avoid attacks, but to surpass the speed of time itself, and create a wormhole back in time to attack several fold, and even repeat it gathering the chemical energy all around him, releasing it in all different forms. He waited quite a while after saying "For my next move..." but from traveling back, he doubled over finally at this point. There was a pure uncertainty as to whether or not it would work, thus the pause, but now he saw success.

It was far worse than pocket dimensions, he in effect, was pretty much duplicated for a time. When he let out the collective discharges, he was sure that if they hit, they definitely did damage, because it wasn't just energy at this point, it was waves, mass, almost everything, and a pulling force from all the distortion that might have even pulled Kain apart entirely. He looked on to what might be left of Kain, or lack thereof. He was fixed now far away from Kain, lacking any charge now, and in fact left no sign of life, except for Kain to look in his direction But of course, his eyes didn't work that way, did they?

I'm just gonna point out that the fight's over. It ended with your post.

How: The Catastrophe and Angels and materialized had attacked in the same moment, as stated. Given Rick stood there talking, not only would all six attacks of hit, they'd of hit over and over with enough force to obliterate bone much less what it'd do to simple flesh in that time.

Usually I'd allow a re-post, but all I needed to see was "went right to Kain" to change my mind on that one n' you can either refer to my freakin' website as I tell people to to figure out why or you can refer to me n' Kris' fight.

Told you the fight was turn-based logic. There's logic to everything I've done (again, check the website. Made it just for these circumstances!) and you've annihilated what little logic there was to your crap.

If you want, bring a judge in on it. The judge WILL NOT be Johnny given current suspicions I have and any posts from him are under very, very close watch right now. I don't give two shits who you use to judge if you choose to, but the matter is now a matter for PMs.

I'll declare no victor here, even though there is an obvious one simply for lack of dispute.

After a lengthy discussion between both participants, a winner was declared: Kain. That is the ending statement of this fight; as with all others: Further comments on them are best saved for PMs.
