Well it's that time of the year again, Convention season. Last week I went to my 7th installment of Weeaboodom at Fanimecon. This con left me at the breaking point of exhaustion. There was quite a bit to do, and lots of back and forth walking. Got some great pictures along the way, went to some panels(The Gurren Lagann Panel was AWESOME) , and came home with some cool things. I even raved. Raving is fun!

PROTIP: Don't rave twice in a row in one weekend.

ANOTHER PROTIP: Take a break while raving... especially for 6 hours straight gonk

I was suprised how well this photo came out, being it was taken at the rave.

Pros: There was alot more to do this year at the con. Especially Rockband with 3 other people. I even sang cool Getting to come home with the stuff I was looking for with cash left over was a big plus. Singing Fresh Prince of Bel Air and Never Gonna Give you up with Random /b/tards waiting to go to the rave was the highlight of the con. As well as the truth or day game on Saturday Night on the 8th floor lobby. Very Fun.

Cons: Cosplay over all was weaker than last year, only came home with 66 photos this year compared to 140+ taken last year. Nothing really stood out. I over exhausted myself trying to do too much to the point where I nearly passed out on Sunday.

EDIT: It was Newfag Summer at the con, especially on Sunday. 12 Year olds shouting out "You lost the game" and "Over 9000" gets old. Fast. mad

Yeah, I noticed the problem with cosplay originality last year. Too much Naruto and Bleach. Hmm, I wish I had a camera the year with the Jin-Roh guys and the red Canti cosplay.

Hmmm, I should watch Jin-Roh again. From what I remember, that movie was pretty good.

No Black Lagoon or Speedgrapher cosplays?

Fanimecon was pretty fun this year. But there were like, huuuuuuge amounts of bleach cosplays. Maybe even more than Naruto.

I went mainly to buy DVDs, but the box set of Samurai Champloo was like $200, and Ghost in the Shell woulda been like $100. And I didn't bring that much money... [/fail]
