Battlefield...RANDOMIZER! >O
The screen towering above the stadiums' bleachers began to rotate clockwise to determine what field the pokemon would fight on. Anticipation began to build as the dial slows...
Finally, it comes to a complete stop.
The field of choice is....THE CITY STREETS FIELD!
Broken tar and faded yellow lines make up the “street” that runs down the exact center of the battle field. On either side of the road, sidewalks with pieces of concrete here and there are broken off while “building walls”, set with windows of sugar glass and rotating doors are placed on one side of the street. On the other is a broken down building with barred window and a boarded up door. Faint traces of grim and much cover the walls of both “buildings” while trash cans and trash bags decorate the street; some are torn open with their contents spilled out while others are not. A sewer grate nearby continually pours a stream of fog into the air while, on the corner near a crossroad, a phone booth is seen. The phone, hanging off the hook, makes a continuous busy signal. Dying and dead bushes line the building sides while occasional breezes blow the dead leaves onto the sidewalks and road.

Luna carefully stepped into the field and through the sharp, dangerous debris to a fairly clear area on the road that was marked out for trainers. Nine followed, gracefully avoiding stray pieces of glass and sat down on the street, waiting for her opponent to appear. Her tails were twitching around the air
"Hiiiiiiiiii there!" Luna shouted to the other side of the field towards her newest challenger. "I'm Lu--" The black haired trainer suddenly choked as she remembered the worst part about this particular battlefield - it's stench. "Luna. And this battlefield really smells bad." She finished while attempting to use her jacket to filter out the stench. It wasn't working.

Teddy tip toed his way to a 'safe' spot in the battlefield. " I can't believe I'm doing this battle thing. What a waist of my time. " The male trainer complained out loud. This was one of the things that he had never planned to do in his life time. Ugly things fighting each other? Not Teddy's thing. " Daddy, why did you force me to do this!? Just give me my credit card back! " Teddy continued to whine, his rather girly voice echoing about the empty arena.
Once he made it to a piece of concrete he twirled around to face the girl in the opposite side. Teddy did his thing and judged her from afar, but keeping his comments to himself. " Yeah. Call me Teddy " He said simply before going into his tote bag to look for the barely used pokeball.

"Hehe~Okay then Teddy! I'm ready when you are~!" She chimed, giving up on getting any fresh air. She might as well adapt to the stench, even if it killed multiple brain cells.

The girl's voice irritated Teddy only causing more hate for the certain situation. " Ugh! About time I found it! Maybe I should clean out this bag when I get home, or just go straight to the mall. Maybe Bianca can go out today! " Teddy's attention went to what he was going to do later. Yes, right before the battle even began he had grown bored. Though the stench of the 'city' like arena brought him back to reality. " Oh yeah, go...Houndberry. " Teddy held back for a bit, before dropping the ball in front of him.
The light that came from it caused the girly teen to flinch. He wasn't used to it, which only showed what a terrible trainer he was.
Houndberry howled once he was released from his round prison. Finally he got some fresh air even though it wasn't fresh at all. Anything was better that staying in that pokeball after all. He glanced about to figure out why he was even out, and then spotted the trainer and her ninetails not too far. A battle!?
" Uhmmm...Crunch? " Teddy squinted down at his pokedex, which was currently giving him a list of houndoom moves.
Houndberry didn't bother to keep questioning the situation and dashed forward, his muzzle wide open.

"Hmmm~" Luna thought to herself as she quickly examined the houndoom and his trainer. They seemed to be new, but she couldn't afford to underestimate them nonetheless. As the first attack was called, Luna's mind quickly went into action and choose Nine's next move. "Dark pulse!"
Nine immediately turned around to force Houndberry to face her tails instead of her main body. She did a quick iron tail attack to harden her tails (not too much since it was a quick last minute defense) before Houndberry clamped onto one. Nine winced a bit, but kept her mission in mind and slammed her paws onto the ground, creating a pulse of dark energy that rippled from feet and spread outwards quickly at Houndberry.

Teddy stared at Houndberry with shock. It took him one command to attack with such power? His rival didn't even flinch at Houndoom's vicious attack, neither did her Ninetails. " Such beats. " Teddy quickly covered up his amazement. He just had to remind himself that he was only doing this for a credit card.
The houndoom didn't wait for his trainer's command to dodge. Knowing Teddy he was just going to stand around and watch. So he took it upon himself to think strategically. He jumped back to avoid the first pulse, then hoped on the nearby beat down car to avoid the rest.
Sadly, Teddy wasn't as smart and tumbled over due to the vibrations. " How dare you! Ugh! " Teddy glared at the Ninetails. " How rude! Quickly Houndberry, Flamethrower! "
Houndberry opened wide and let out a torrent of flames towards the other pokemon. Everything suddenly got a lot hotter.

"Darn..." Luna muttered as she saw the houndoom dodge. She had jumped over the pulse, the attack being greatly weakened by the time it got to her. "Okay then, confuse ray!" She ordered, ignoring the flamethrower.
Nine stood infront of the flamethrower unflinching. She was busy focusing on creating the orange-yellow ball of light that now hovered above her and floated towards Houndberry. The flamethrower felt like a brief shower of warm fire to her, not hurting her as much as exciting her even more about the battle.
"Haha, fire attacks won't work on us Teddy~" Luna called, sticking out her tongue. She then gagged from the rotten air. 'Note to self: bring air mask next time'

((These are the rules of confusion as PMed to me by Micro:
When you are confused, you roll 2 6-sided dice when you attack.
The first determines wether you actually attack or not.
Odds - You attack the opponent
Even - You attack yourself
The second die is the one that determines damage, as usual.
1- Miss
2-5 - Normal damage
6 - Critical hit
This applies even if you're attacking yourself ))

Crap, forgot to roll other 4 sided dice. This one determines how long you get hit for.
OH, I guess I should explain status conditions to you.
1) You roll two four sided dice. Usually you do it together, but I was being stupid razz
2) The first dice determines if you hit or not. If odd, you hit. If even, you miss
3) The second dice determines for how long you are hit ie: 1 turn, four turns, etc.

Houndberry snarled at the questionable light emited from the Ninetails. He was about to leap down to get a closer look but suddenly his mind became foggy. His vision also failed him, everything was suddenly double.
Teddy got back up on his feet quickly cleaning off the dirt. " Great, I just bought these jeans yesterday! But apparently you and you ugly thing don't care about stuff like that. " Teddy gave his opponent one of his famous dirty looks. She probably didn't care about her looks. " Anywaaayyyss, ummm...." Teddy went through the list of attacks in his pokedex. " Faint Attack? Where do they come up with these retarded names. Jeez "
Houndberry was having a hard time keeping his balance. Everything was just so off....The ninetails must have used confuse ray. Teddy's voice still sounded clear enough for him to pick up on the attack. Faint Attack? That's what he did, his body becoming invisible.

So, looks like you attacked yourself you silly goose!)
"Aww, but it's a battle!" Luna pouted, "You should have fun, not worry about your jeans! They can always be cleaned anyways, riiiight?" Houndberry then disappeared from the field. 'Be on guard Nine!' She thought to herself, but knew that her pokemon was usually always on guard.
Unfortunately, no attack came. Houndberry ended up attacking one of the side walls on the road, breaking one of the walls and most likely hurting his head on the process. Nine used this opportunity to close in for an attack - "Iron tail him Nine!" When she got close, she hopped into the air, twisted her body around, and smashed all nine tails at the confused Houndoom.

" What the hell was that, stupid! The ugly thing was right in front of you! " Teddy stomped down on the ground angrily. What was wrong with him? This was one of the reasons why Teddy refused to do this as part of his daily life. Apparently pokemon barely had a reasonable thought process.
Houndberry was too busy recovering from his last 'attack'. He had smashed away at a wall and not his opponent. Sadly, he wasn't able to recover fully since nine tails smashed into his body. The force through him into the air, his body dragging on the rough pavement when landing. He kept himself from yelping out loud though...he knew he had more than enough energy left.
" Stupid! Do something interesting! Like.....Shadow Ball! " Teddy didn't bother to feel bad, he just wanted his credit card.
Houndberry didn't waste any time in concentrating to form a black sphere that he would HOPEFULLY send flying towards the Ninetails. Or just explode right in his face.
