First off, this is supposed to be a Legend of Zelda style game, however set in the future. The technology is Steam-Punkish, but to get a really good grasp on how I see the world, you should look up some Fullmetal Alchemist episodes on youtube or something.

Legend of Zelda: Call of Destiny

The Time of Trouble is inmeshed in the Great River of Destiny, Time & Time again it would resurface to plague the people of the World. Always there was signs: The Triforce would grace 3 Beings. The Triforce of Power, Wisdom & Courage. Always before had the 3 been seperate. But now it is diffrent.

The 3 have been chosen in a time that the Great Battle, the 3 Goddess's, Even the Times of Trouble have been forgotten. The Legendary Hero Link, and the Earthbound reincarnation of evil Ganondorf have even been all but forgotten. In this age of Steam and Technology, Magic is scarce. But now, it shows up un the 3 most unlikely people.

Deep in the Temple of Light, a single life force rummages about scrolls and tomes, searching for any kind of hint that the times of trouble truley are over. Then he comes acrost a passage that greatly disturbes him. Simplified, it reads thus.

"And thus the Sword of Light shall cross with the Sword of Darkness, powers equal from time beyond time. The Three shall face The Three and the very heavens will shake as the battle rage between them, with the Child of Light, and the Child of Dark at its very center. And Behold, without the Fourth Child, the Child of Ultimate Balance, the Sword of Light shall Shatter against the Sword of Darkness, and there energy shall rage acrost the land, sweeping from it that which the Hylians had made."

This was great news. All portents indicated that the Children where already born, but even worse, that a Fourth, as of yet unknown Triforce piece, one of apparently Balance was to play apart...and even worse, that the Shadow Darkness versions of the the Trifoce and the Master Sword was to come into play....Packing up all that he could, he set out on a quest to find that Fabled Fourth that would be the Key Reflex Point in the battle to come....



Now, I said earlier that this is supposed to be a Zelda game, though I belive in keeping things open. So, if you wish to play a race that doesnt exactly belong to Hyrule, or wish to play a pre-made character that you have been working on for some time, go ahead. Ive already thought about this. For those who wish to include a out-of-universe character, I shall provide the scene in which characters are allowed to jump.


There are thousands of universes. Those that have come to study this have called it the Multi-verse. These universes are sometimes strange and bizarre, sometimes homely and familiar. Many times there was only one thing diffrent that caused a change, a absence, a drift. It is enough to seperate the universes for some time, but now a dark force is rising.

A dark figure makes his way up a hilltop, a heavy black robe obscuring his form from behind. In a weathered and diseased ravaged hand holds a rotten and ancient tome to his chest. Breathing wheezing like the dying wind rattling through the bones of a long dead tree, he trudged forward, a fanatic look in his eyes, his desire to accomplish his goal all that keeps him upwards.

Stumbling, faultering, he makes it to the hilltop. There stands the ruins of a once proud civilization, and the decreped mans eyes burn with unholy glee. He works his way through the silent graveyard of broken buildings and upturned roads, blissfully unaware that the sky above him was slowly filling with darkening clouds. Elsewhere in the Multiverse those same clouds where gathering at a particular point, swirling, funneling. A storm of magnificent magnitude was brewing, and it promised to be one for the books.

The robe falls off the man to reveal sores and wounds, untended, uncared for. He wears little more then a dirty, soiled loin cloth, and appears to have been beaten many times recently. His breath coming in ragged gasp, he staggers up to a alter as if chained down, his every movment a effort.

Lightning Breaks the sky, and thunder shatters the quite of the Ruins, yet the man only has awareness for the book which he slams down on the altar. Grasping the edges, he holds himself up as his legs seem to collapse underneath him.

Then the chanting begins. As the storm rages, the infernal words could be heard throughout the multiverse as this one ravaged, dying old man spoke the Forbidden words that would Unlock the Darkness. Hearts quail, souls tremble, and all know that something dreadfull was happening. Nobody fears the storm anymore, their minds focused on what is to come.

The Storm rises in fury and pitch, throwing Lightning about in its anger, the wind tearing up the ground and anything that dare use it to live on. The seas heave and surge up the land, the mountains begin to shake, and the earth seem to rot as those foul words where uttered. At the Climax of the storm, the voice was booming, each word burning itself into the minds of those that could hear it, a pronouncement of doom.

Then...suddenly, it was quite. The storm tore to shatters, breaking apart as if some force beyond nature had risen forth to take a hand. A unsettling quite covered the multiverse, and all was still.

Many would go to sleep afterwards, and wake up in the morning, remebering only a bad storm. There where a few however that could remeber the words, the terror, the feeling of Doom.

In each level of the Multiverse, the universes had shifted. A single point now touched all of them, and it created a Rift. Where the old man and the altar stood was now little more then charred ground, however hovering in the air stood a glowing blue portal. A sense of urgency came from that, as if someone was waiting for you to come through. Then...the Doom. It felt like it was all around, pushing you in. Without being aware of it you where falling, shifting through the Rift. Time and Space, all of reality seemed to bend and twist as you are simultaniously expanded to a infinite size, and contracted to the smallest point. Then, with a thud, you hit the ground.
