Okay, I have a really weird story I was debating to put up or not blaugh This all happened maybe a year ago, sometime (either last summer or very early fall). Akiko and I decided to go up to her cabin up in Swan Valley (It''s in Idaho for those who don''t know razz and famous for good square ice cream). We had planned to stay just for the weekend. It was just the two of us, since all our other friends were elsewhere gonk Basically the "town" is just a bunch of houses spread really far apart, kiind of like farmland.

Anywho, the Saturday we were there we decided to go for a walk. We plotted some stories and whatever else. On the way back, one of the neighbor dogs started barking in the distance. This was around mid morning. We didn''t think too much of it, except Aki did bring up the fact that dog usually never barks.

Once we got back home, we were goofing aorund again. All of a sudden, her basement door just slammed shut. There wasn''t much of a draft in the room, but it was enough to make me jump. Well, knowing how stupid we were, we ignored it. We tend to do that a lot xp One of these days it''ll get us killed razz

Later that night, we decided to put in Knight Hunters (an anime) and started watching it. We both got tired around midnight, and decided to call it quits for the night. So we turned off the TV and lights and whatever else. We fought over who got the better couch.... (she won ninja ) I couldn''t tell you what time things just got weird was.

I didn''t think too much of it, but I kept on getting my normal "creepy" vibes (if any of you have expierenced that). Something just wasn''t right. I began to hear things in the back of the house, closer to the bathroom. It sounded like something was walking back there. I thought it was Aki, so I just kind of pulled my blankets over my head and forced myself to go to sleep (This is a true fact! ^_^; wink After around twenty or so minutes, all of a sudden the back door slammed shut, hard.

Well, in the morning, we had to pack up and get ready to go back home. We were putting things away, and Aki hauled some blankets into one of the spare room. The next thing I knew she was calling me over. I didn''t really care, I just got up. When I got to the room, she was pointing to the window. The screen had been pulled outward (towards the outside). The window was slid open. This kind of freaked us both out, but we decided to investigate it further. I asked her about what had happened last night. We both ended up hearing noises in the back of the house, and thought it was each other. Then we went outside to see if anything else had been "misplaced". Underneath the window it looked like the flowers had been trampled on, but couldn''t make out any footprints (darn dry dirt). It looked like it had been on the other side of the house, and tried to push in a board to the basement (but failed). To this day we don''t know what it was. As far as we know it could have been a badger or something weird blaugh

I still like the badger idea xd

My first thought is it was a burglar and you were probably very lucky...but like Windblade said, it could be something else. However, I support the burglar and/or badger theory...

Well I know from experiance that oler house and cabins ectera do make noises like people walking on the floors on its own. Bleive me my grampas house made those sounds all the time. As for the door slamming could have been our friend. Well I also have experiances with doors just shutting really loadly with out cause. So I am saying parinoid.

I agree with the general public, I think it was a burgler or somekind of animal, or your just paranoid.
