Important places:
1. Terra (aka Earth) - Destroyed Terran homeworld
2. Drathos - Drathonian homeworld. The Hymn's second mission was to detonate a thermonuclear warhead on the planet's surface. Current habitability is unknown.
3. Terra IV - Target of the Hymn's first mission. The Hymn effectively broke a Drathonian siege on the planet.
4. Saratar - Primary orbital drydocks planet of the Drathonian Empire. The Hymn's third mission is to take control of the docks and the planet.

Keep in mind that the green dots are not the only planets: they are the known INHABITED planets. There are thousands of other planets and solar systems in our galaxy. A considerable number of these are used for offworld mining operations and secret Drathonian military installations. There are even rumors that a few planets out there hold secret spaceports, or hidden civilizations. The galaxy is so massive that only a fraction of these have been explored.

Q31 is contested, why?
PostPosted: Mon Jan 19, 2009 9:57 am

The inhabited planet in Q31 holds a substantial Terran population. Since Drathonians have little navigational data of the sector that the UTR now controls, it is the only major planet they have discovered apart from Terra IV. Regular attacks have been sent into Q31 to inflict as much damage as possible. At least one Terran Armada battlegroup is stationed on standby in this grid. The elevated level of danger in this grid has brought the UTR to designate it as an active war zone.

Honestly, I have no idea. Maybe it's, like, a black hole, or something. Yeah... black hole. That sounds good.

The core is probably full of dense nebulae and new stars, without any really usefully developed planets. it's dangerous to travel around there, especially at FTL speeds, so no attempts at real exploration have been maed.
