Ukuu was busy. Being stuck to a tree obviously qualified as busy. It was uncomfortable, yes, yes it was. He'd slipped, and fallen between two branches, but see, his back side had managed to stick; he couldn't reach his was back up, and he simply didn't like the idea of dropping so much.

"This sucks. " He said uncomfortably, annoyed by the blood rushing to his head, waving his paws around, trying to think of a way to get himself out of this one. Besides the blood on his head, it also felt like crap up there-- rather uncomfortable with his skin pressed against bark like that.

"Heey! Anyone out there? "

"Yeah! " A shout came from a distance away, where the older red juvenile had been resting, under another tree. He hadn't expected anyone to start calling, but a nice kid like he was, he was happy to reply, and stood up, not noticing that strange thing dangling from a tree, or that its where the sound had come from.

He blinked his green eyes, scanning the savanna. "Who's askin'? " he shouted.

The brown one perked his ears, swiveling them and trying his best to turn his head. Someone was out there! Sounded a little young.. but maybe they could help anyway. "Ukuu! I'm stuck in this tree over here! " He flailed his paws, trying to move his head enough to see if he spotted anything.

"Can you help me? " He sighed, stopping his shifting and keeping himself just hanging.

Another one stuck in a tree! huffing slightly in amusement, Loki started to pinpoint where the sound had come from, and soon enough saw movement. Theere he was! However, it was only when Loki got close did he realize-- this was very different from what'd happened to Azima.

"How the heck did you do that? " He wrinkled his nose slightly, wincing as the sun seeped through the branches.

He couldn't help but smile when someone came into sight, and twisted his head so he could have a better look at the other juvenile. Another cheetah! the difference being he was older. "I was... um.. climbing? " He grinned awkwardly, swishing his tail that hung to the other side of the branch.

"And I slipped. So I'm stuck. So can ya help me? " He'd have shouted for his mom, if not a) he was too proud to and b) he doubted his mommy dearest would like seeing her son in this position. She was a proud lady too.

He blinked. "Why were ya climbing? You're a cheetah! We don't climb. " Much, anyway. Loki stepped back, then picked up speed and ran as far up the tree as he could, reaching for a branch and soon clinging to it, slowly pulling himself up.

"I'll try. But I dunno if I'm strong 'nuff to pull you back up. " Slowly.. ish, Loki pulled himself up to the branch where Ukuu was stuck, and carefully walked towards him. "Um.. I dunno what to do. I can push ya down.. but that might hurt. "

Thats what he feared. "That doesn't sound good. I could break my head if I just flop down. " He twitched his tail tip. "Can ya try maybe pulling? " It was worth a shot.

"I'll try. " Loki nipped the other boy's ankles, and soon got a hold on one of his legs. Carefully, he started pulling, to not much effect-- he wasn't strong enough, and Ukuu was already grumbling about his thin teeth on his leg.

"Maybe I can bend a branch down and you can grab it? " He shrugged. "Then maybe you can get down... slower. " He shrugged slightly.

Ukuu sighed, looking around. "That might work. " He bit his lower lip(or higher, right now), folding his ears back slightly. "Just be careful not to hit my face... "

"Loki, " He completed, calmly moving to the closest other-branch, and walking carefully towards the tip, wincing slightly as it lowered against his weight. It'd suck so much if it snapped.. Soon enough, though, he'd gotten it low, and folding his ears back, frowned slightly.

"Can ya reach it? "

"Um.. maybe. I'll try. " The brown male began to swing, and soon stretched out his paws to reach for it, and soon dug his dull cheetah claws into it. "Great! " he beamed, and pulled the branch closer to him, raising his body and then closing his teeth around the other branch. "Kay, Loki, can ya ease my behind out? " He asked, and immediately regretted how stupid that sounded.

"Ignore that. But you get my point. "

Loki laughed, before slowly creeping back the way to Ukuu's branch, once there raising his hind legs so he could squeeze between the branches, then letting him down slowly. Soon enough he'd let go and Ukuu was hanging from the other branch-- at least he was right-side up.

"That good for ya? "

Ukuu huffed as the branch lurched upwards, once he was no longer holding it down the same way, but he hung on, with paws and teeth, and slowly dragged his way up. "Yeah! " He wheezed,

"Woo! I'm up! " He grinned, itting on the branch, and then remembering how he'd been stuck in the first place, he hurried down the tree quickly, soon followed by Loki.

"Hey! thanks for your help! " He smiled. "Are you from 'round here? "

He celebrated a little once the younger boy was free, and made his way smoothly down the tree after him, swishing his red tail. "Thats good! " Poor Ukuu, he must have a headache from all that being upside down.

"Nah, me an' my dad travel with my brother. " He nodded. "How 'bout you? "

"I'm with my mom and my brothers. " He shrugged. Loki's thinking was right, though, Ukuu had managed to get a headache, and he didn't have a mind for chit-chat now. "I should prolly get home. My head hurts like herr. " He winced, folding his ears backwards.

"We should meet again sometime and play a game or something. " It'd be nice to have a friend, who WASN'T a brother, for once. "See ya, Loki. Thanks again! " With that, Ukuu turned to walk away, not wanting to keep talking any longer.

"Thanks again for your help! "

he sure went quickly! Loki smiled to himself, glad to have been useful for once. Maybe he could be the official.. tree-rescuer or something, he'd helped save two people already! With small huff, he turned towards where he'd last seen his dad to wait for him, they'd probably be leaving to see mom soon.

He sure did miss his mom today. Maybe he should get her a flower.
