About Me:
I'm a bounty hunter from another world.
I'm part of a police conspiracy in which they believe me to be dead. I left my life behind and became an inter-dimensional bounty hunter to serve my time. Because my identity was foiled my commanding officer sent me away to Gaia. Now I'm stuck in a strange land with only my imagination family to keep me company.
There's nothing really to say here. My son's mother set me up for this. I'm a pretty interesting guy and my close friends are from another dimension, as am I. I use to work for law enforcement, but my time there was terminated. Right now I'm on leave from my current job as a bounty hunter. Something about being "found out". I like long trips in my space craft, dinner on the beach and 20th century music.
Hobbies:
I use to sit around the cabin playing Chess with Naite, our team captain of sorts. I must say I've gotten much better at it. I enjoyed chasing down crooks but since I'm still considered the "new guy" I seemed to get only the low level criminals. When I was younger I use to play the violin.
Talents:
I'm an excellent sniper, I'm pretty good behind the wheel, and I have a talent for scaring strangers. My son says I'm a decent cook.

Description :
Ethren use to work for law inforcement eight years ago, so his body is toned with muscle, yet on his team he was still one of the thinnest there. Eight years ago he was probably in better shape but he can still chase down a man without breaking a sweat, sort of speak. He's more of tall lengthy man now with long straight brown hair to go along with his six foot-three frame. His eyes are brown as well. Ethren is blessed with a large adam's apple and when he was still in the force his nose was broken, so there's a large bump there too. There is, however, one characteristic that defines him and it's the one that he keeps quiet about. If asked why he gained such a hideous attraction he'd come up with a blown out of proportioned version that usually included a fire breathing dragon. Eight years ago, when he was twenty-one on his first team mission away from home he was caught in an explosion. Lucky enough, Ethren only caught the after shock but it still left a good sized mark. While he was dodging the blast, the fire from the explosion whipped passed his left side, burning off piece of clothing and skin as well as his whole left ear. The scar is circular and where his ear use to be is towards the edge. The skin was so horribly damanged that hair can no longer grow in that area. It was that night that he lost his life, left what he knew behind and took off. A year later he joined a team of bounty hunters and as celebration tatooed three one inch thick lines paralell to his ear hole just above his eyebrow. The two outer lines are completely symmetrical while the middle line starts later as well as ends later than the other two. All three of them are two inches long. Ethren has a long face with a semi-square jaw and high cheek bones. When he's not disguising his burn mark, Ethren usually combs his hair so the part is on his left side. He finds it tacky to let a thin layer of hair cover the scar.
On one faithful birthday morning Ethren's new team got together and presented him with a gift. It was a shoe box wrapped in newspaper yet the present inside wasn't any better. It was one of those moments where the thought had counted more than the actual gift but Ethren was very greatful. He had recieved a red and white trucker hat and glued to the inside of the hat was half of a brown wig, made especially to cover up his missing ear and burn marks. Now he was able to go out in public without a large audience staring at him, instead he'd just have a few buisy bodies thinking he looks suspicious.
Ethren's normal set of clothing consists of regenerating black pants, pants that were made for close combat. One didn't half to worry about clothing coming off if it wove itself back together everytime there was a rip. It was probably made from some extraterrestrial life form. A lite weight red sweater, usually with some black design embroidered into the sleeves, a black leather vest and large boots made for any terrain. Ethren also carries around a pair of yellow googles. They were used when he piloted his space craft.
Personality :
Ethren is reserved, he keeps most things bottled inside him, rarely showing emotion to strangers. He keeps his past a secret and fears what could come in the future. It takes a few tries before a smile or two shows on his face. After a while though he'll ease up and it'll be easier to read him until his face is like an open book. However, Ethren is not a mean or hateful character, he just worries about what could happen if the wrong information were to leek out. Ethren bonds to people just like everyone else and hates to see them get hurt in anyway. He does get attached to people quickly and finds himself missing their company when they're not around but he's a big boy and knows how to pull himself up again. Yet with all that happened to him he still hates change. He can fall into a pattern or rhythm easily and doesn't like to be disturbed. Ethren is also terribly superstitious and also gets embarrassed easily.

About Me:
I'm a 19 year old college graduate. I'm trying to get my BA in Animation from Chico then get an intership from Pixar but my dad, who I live with, wants me to get a teaching cradincial. I'm not an english major, and I have to emphasis this. When I write it's something I want to do, I want to express my imagination and I don't like it when it becomes a chore. I started roleplaying back when I was 12 or 13 when Avidgamers.com was still active. I recently started to pick it up again. I try and stay away from Novel length posters (people who can easily produce 10-15 paragraphs), they scare me, intemidate me and since I try to have the same amount when I post as my partner, if I'm with a Novel rper it becomes a chore. I do however love to rp with people whos post range is varied. I tend to post 2-7 paragraphs. When I get going on a jam I can get up to 14.
 Likes/Dislikes (IN RP):
I like trying to stick to rules of the invironment, an example of this is if I'm rping a real life situation I don't like someone coming in with an elf. I usually have a general sense of where things should go and where things shouldn't go so it's hard for me to accept something that shouldn't happen in that invironment. And speaking of real life situations, I tend to strive for drama. My rps are like my Soup Opreas. I do like fluff and all that stuff but it only gets so far so I do ask for a plot line, or have a plot line in mind when you start. I love to be surprised about the next post but if you like to discuss what should happen that's fine with me. Usually when I create a character they already have a story line, plot line, and characters that interact with them - I'm not going to ask that my partner has the same but it's nice if they have something to write about when the interaction between our two characters starts dying down.
Style:
I write in narrative third person paragraphs. Again I'm not an english major so I'm sorry if my grammer is off but I do try and have perfect replys so it does take a while for my next post. My best friend is dictionary.com and Word for Macs. When I get really into a rp I start to mimic my partners style of writing, not to a T but you can definitely see the influence.
Update When I post, I try to post where my character has been, what he's up to and where he's going.
Availability:
Really anytime. There's weeks where I'm doing nothing but sitting by the computer and only a few days where I'm off and no where near it. I love to make rp dates with my partners where we both get on relatively at the same time and stay on for a couple of hours or more to really get into the rp. My insperation is like a fire and I need to keep feeding it before it dies out. I hate when I have to wait for my next post because then I get lazy and just kinda "forget" to post something until a week later. That fire I was talking about only lasts for so long before It dies away and I really don't have something to write about. I also get really excited when the story starts to unfold and I can stay up for hours on end to continue it.
What I want for the character:
Drama. You know those tacky Yaoi mangas that are so pradictable, I just love them because they are filled with so much drama. And Yes I did get into daytime soups when I was little. Ethren has a family back where he lives who thinks he's dead and now he lives with a woman who he got pregnant after a drunken one night stand, the poor guy is supect to my abuse and I want to give him more. I like to get rallied up and live in my character's storyline. (=P kinda like what books/movies are supposed to do) Of course I would like to explore the wonders of his storyline as well as my partner's character's storyline.
