When you just want to scream out in frustration and pull at someone's hair?
I just had one of those moments..
Breathe... okay, last night.. I worked on my essay on the computer until the wee hours in the morning. I finally finished at around 1:00AM and I was too tired to actually write it down so I decided to write it first thing in the morning, saved it and then, went to sleep. I made sure to save it, I even triple saved it! D<
And then.. the next day, I open that file and... it's blank. It's a blank page staring at me in the bloody face.
Procrastination and how it bites you back in the a**...

That's horrible D:
I worked on an essay late last night too and I almost died cuz I was so tired and I was going to print it in the morning but I didn't.
It's better than your situation, though. Did you look everywhere on your computer? That's really a shame... how long was it?

It is the same file and it's still blank even now when I open it.... =.=; but the due date's over and I'm writing it all over again.. so.. *sigh* My teacher didn't buy the excuse but that paper affects my grade so..
It was about 4 pages worth but all in Chinese, I had to make at least 2,000 characters in them.. I'm still halfway through it now.. ugh.. oh well.. it's not like it will come back from thin air.

crying That's like someone giving you a kick when you're already flat on the ground exclaim
How is it possible that you saved it 3x to re-open it later to a blank page? If you can type Chinese, the computer should be capable of that format. It's so unfair for you!!!
Once I was working on a homework assignment when the power in the house went out. gonk
