Hateshi wakes up hearing people talking. He recognizes Tahei's voice, "As soon as..." Hateshi opens his eyes wondering what's going on. Tahei notices, "Finally, you're awake." He saw his squad sitting there listening, "What's up?" Tahei says, "We need to talk about an important opportunity that has just opened up."

Hateshi sees his teammates are anxious, "What?" Tahei tells him, "The First Class Exam has just opened up again. Now the sooner you gain First Class the better... but the exams changed..." Hateshi could sense the concern in his voice. Tahei explained, "The exam is... crazy now." Hateshi laughs, "Crazy?" Tahei continues, "It's a lot harder than before. Before it was just a tournament thing. Now they call it the Simulation Exam." He pauses, "They call it the Simulation Exam because it's supposed to simulate what every First Class Ninja is expected to be capable of." He looks Hateshi in the eyes, "Fighting a war."

Hateshi was confused, "What we're going to war???" Tahei giggles, "No. It's a SIMULATION. The exam is used to simulate a war. That's how you become Kuraiichi (First Class) now. The chances of dying are a lot higher now. Less than 10% of competitors are expected to live." Now Hateshi has an idea of what the exam will be like, "So you want us to go?" Tahei shakes his head, "I'm just a messenger. My job is to tell you about it and get you ready for it. If you don't want to go then you're definitely going to die if you go there anyway."

Hateshi asks, "What about Ouja?" Tahei answers, "This is bad... Ouja wants me to train you up..." Hateshi looked at him weird and Tahei explains, "He knows that I'm going to do everything I can to turn you back, and that includes killing him. In order to do that I'll have to train you obviously. I have no choice but to make you a better ninja." Hateshi shakes his head, "What if he controls me and I attack you guys?" Tahei sighs, "I'll have to beat you down then." Hateshi laughs a little and Tahei says, "Seriously. Hateshi, you're going to have to help me turn you back. I know there's some telepathic connection between you and him. You can try to learn something from it or try to block it out as much as possible to prevent him from controlling you. Just be careful." Hateshi nods and Tahei adds, "Kichiro is going back with the Kouken to train. I'm training you and Resshi."

Hateshi was fighting hand-to-hand with Tahei, [Even though it's just a clone I'm no match for it.] Tahei's clone deflects Hateshi's punch, knees him then throws him to the ground. Hateshi was getting exhuasted, [Well I guess this is a good warm up even though nothing can prepare us for what's coming.] Tahei's clone takes the Hitoro stance, "Get up!" Hateshi forces himself up, [I wonder what Tahei meant by that.]

*flashback*

Tahei took Resshi, "I have to give you something." He looks over at Hateshi, "When I get back I have to give you something too." Hateshi looks at Tahei's clone, [That's if I'm still conscious...] Tahei flash steps with Resshi leaving Hateshi to train.

*end flashback*

Tahei stops flash stepping and tells Resshi, "Okay it seems this is a good place to stop." He answers before Resshi can ask, "You're here because I noticed something. There's a memory blocked in your brain. It's fairly large. I glanced at it and I think it's for your clan's scroll." Resshi was surprised. Tahei looks at him, "I'm sure that's why they sent you with us. You're clan figured someone would be able to unblock those memories in case you'd be the last one alive. Now's a good as time as any. Keep this in mind: Guard your jutsu with your life. Your clan wouldn't want other people learning their jutsu. As a side effect I'll end up learning some of your jutsu but that's the price you'll have to pay in order to learn them." Tahei pauses then looks at him, "Nouhenkou."

Hateshi gets knocked into a tree then falls to the ground, [Yeah I'm beat.] Tahei's clone disappears and Hateshi looks up, "Back already?" He notices Resshi is different, [What happened?] He studies him for a moment, [I wonder what Tahei told him?] Tahei tells Hateshi to get up. Hateshi stuggles then gives up, giggles, "Can't." Tahei was about to say something then changes his mind, "Nevermind." He picks Hateshi up and leans him against a tree, "You remember how we reversed the scroll from Kaomoji? I'm going to give you the rest of the scroll." Hateshi was surprised, "Seriously?" Tahei started executing hand signs, "You're going to need it. Nouhenkou."

A few minutes later Tahei finishes, "Done." Hateshi feels like he has a head ache, "Yay..." Tahei adds, "With that much knowledge I wouldn't be surprised if you came back with new jutsu." Hateshi was holding his head, "Huh?" Tahei explained, "You'll know how everything works. After that point you'll know how to do things with Issekigan that I can't teach you."

As Kichiro stands there waiting for orders he sits still like hes the man of the hill. "Yeah guys if you need me i'll be on top of this hill sitting down and chilling". "Also eating some beef so yeah bye".
