We were jamming in my room at about 10:30pm and I was put in an old Evanescence song that I thought he should hear. He loved it (I knew he would), I then put in Lacuna Coil which he liked as well. THEN *here's the shocker* He noticed my Rhapsody cd and said it was a cool cover so I put in Enchanted Lands II. He LOVED it. I couldn't belive it, he completely digs Unholy Warcry and.......well Rhapsody. I don't know why I didn't think of this before. I forgot about his love of Nightwish, something I am still trying to forget he likes.
So I gave him Dream Theatre (for guitar playering purposes), Rhapsody, Lacuna Coil, Evanescence (Origin only for electronic additives), and After Forever. I'll give him 3 Inches of Blood and some more stuff later.
But currently we have been enjoying Oomph!, Megaherz, Birthday Massacre, and Kidneytheives.
I just don't know about him sometimes. He can go from Rave/Electronic to Static-X to Iron Maiden to CoB to.....
Men! Make up yopur mind!

Gravechylde My Hollow I just don't know about him sometimes. He can go from Rave/Electronic to Static-X to Iron Maiden to CoB to..... Men! Make up yopur mind! That's actually not that drastic of a change for each step. ALL AT THE SAME TIME!? One second it's Zombie Nation the next it's Arch Enemy then Ramstein then Sandstorm. But indeed, he is a very talented guitar player.

I've made more drastic changes than that. I think one time I went from Johnny Cash, to Death Metal.
And since you mention guitar playing, it's great to have a lot of different and varying influences.

Yes, everyone genre hopes but I think we normally know of the styles that we prefer. He nevers sticks to one thing. He didn't even know what Nu-Metal was until I told him, a month ago.
*facepalm*
It's okay, he know's I'm a music snob, I confess to be a non-recovering music snob. A MUsic snob I am, and a music snob I shall remain.

Meh, sometimes I'll put in a bluegrass cd and then decide I'll want to listen to Morbid Angel and then end up listening to GMS or Venetian Snares for the rest of the night.

You guys are missing the point.
The Point: He has no solid typical likings at all. Grave usually digs Doom, Digital digs avant or goth, I dig viking, Nate has no foundings. That's why it's so hard to give him stuff it's always a hit or miss.

I would get upset that I wasn't mentioned as gravitating towards thrash, but look at my avi, its pretty well goes without saying.
