 Rain Dance grinned and nosed Yoshi away from the chocolate cake. Her party for River's parent's aniversary was going great. The chips and snacks were out, the cake made, and the table set. The house looked great! The only things left were inviting the guests (she had to find her grandmother's phone book) and get the box of pocky when the mail man came. Suddenly the phone rang. With a sigh she reached the wall. Knocking down the phone she looked at it. "Hello?" She asked, she wasnt sure who it was. A very familiar voice answered. "Rain Dance?" Her grandmother asked. "Hello, River isn't here now." Rain replied respectivly. "Oh well that's fine. Just tell her that we're going to dinner and a concert tonight. Thank you! Oh.. I have to go. Bye!" She sounded happy, and hung up. "Darn it." Rain muttered, "Now what will I do with this party!?"
"Yoshi yoshi. Yooooooo-ooooshi!" Yoshi replied with a wink, already moving towards the phone, paws outstretched. "Yo yoshi yo?"
"Ugg no I will throw a party. And Kaki is not my boy friend! No I do not know his number!" She sighed and took the phone. She held it for a moment and then blinked. Then she reached out her paw and began dialing phone numbers, River's first.

Rain Dance jumped slightly. It was only the doorbell. She sighed and walked over to open the door. The mail man smiled to her and set down the box of Pocky. She nosed a few bills into his hand and began to push the box into the house. Seeing her struggle with the huge box the mail man picked it up and set it down for her in the kitchen. He smiled again and left closing the door behind him. "That was nice..." Rain said to Yoshi who nodded. She went back to the phone and called Flying Foxx. "Foxx? Could you tell...ya...uh huh...okay. Thank you!" She smiled and called Kaju Inu next.
Yoshi blinked. Rain looked like she was having fun. He just wanted some Pocky.

Taelence spread the crumpled invite on the ground and read it again.
Crimson had handed it to her only an hour ago, saying she wanted Tael out of the house. So Tael had followed the directions and had ended up here.
She probably just wanted me to meet new foxes, she mused. Well this looked like the right place so she scooped the invite up again and trotted up to the door, pushing the door bell with her nose. Then she stepped back and waited.

Rain jumped in joy as the doorbell rang. Looking at Yoshi her brow furrowed. "You should stay at the shop tonight, it's not quite dark yet." Rolling her eyes she handed him a few boxes of pocky and opened the door. She shoved her little brother outside and welcomed the new fox in. "Taelence!" She cried happily. "You are the first one, and I need all the help I can get. What movie should we watch!?"

Taelence nuzzled Rain Dance affectionately and walked inside. She looked about her and laughed.
"Dear me, I am, aren't I," she turned back to Rain Dance. "Movies?? Hmmm....." Tael sat on some cushions in front of the tv. "Nothing scary. Even if this is an all adult party, we don't want anyone getting scared. Sooooo........Comedies, I think, to get people to laugh and......Action flicks for the guys who like shooting and blowing stuff up." She laughed again and got up to nose through the dvd selection. "Any idea of whom else is coming?"

Rain nodded and smiled. "Hmm well I am not a fan of the scarey movies either. But maybe if we get a lot of couples." She winked and pulled over a few of her own bean bag chairs. "I am hoping that Kaki, Yuuki, uuuh... oh I invited a lot of people." She blushed slightly and went into the kitchen to look for chocolate milk.

Taelence nodded.
"Couples are good," she grinned and wondered whether she could rangle Cho into coming.
She watched Rain's avoidance of the subject and followed her into the kitchen, immensely curious.
"Just what was that blush for Rain?" Tael asked, grinning wickedly. It was time for a little teasing.

Pushing open the fridge she laughed to find the chocolate milk on the top shelf. It was obviously put there n purpose. She closed the door and smiled back to Tael. "Well...Kaki's pretty cute." She laughed and went to check if anyone else was at the door.

Taelence raised an eyebrow. She grinned and chased after Rain.
"Annnnnndddddd?" she teased. Rain was so cute, she deserved to be happy. But Tael couldn't resist a little teasing.

Rain Dance stuck out her tounge at her friend. "Ugg no one is here yet." She flopped down in a purple bean bag chair and opened a box of pocky with her teeth.

Taelence grabbed the box of pocky and jumped up on the couch. She quickly hid it behind a cushion and turned to Rain.
"You're not going to get that back until you dish," she said, mischievously. "So I suggest you hurry up!"

Kaki had entered the party. He looked a bit nervous as he tried to think of what to say, he carried a white bag in his mouth. But he cleared up when he saw Rain and a new female. "Hello! Sorry... am I late? Urr... Anyway, I brought some chips!" He grinned and put down the bag. It was open already with a couple chips missing. He laughed and went to nuzzle Rain Dance. "Hiya! Whos this?" He glanced at Tael.

Taelence abandoned her pocky guarding stance at once and climbed down from the couch. It was one thing to talk crushes when it was just you and your friend. It was an entirely different thing when said friend's crush walked into the room.
She sauntered over to where Kaki stood and held out her paw.
"I'm Taelence, but you can call me Tael if you like. It's nice to meet you," she glanced at Rain, proud of herself for behaving and not blurting out something Rain wouldn't like her to.

Rain smiled and dipped her head in greeting. She stood next to Kaki a bit hesitantly and grinned to Taelence. "Nope you're on time. Everyone else is just late." She steered him over to the TV and nosed a few dvd's onto the floor. "Wat movie should we watch?" She cocked her head to look at his face as he decided.

Kaki smiled and shook Taelence's paw. "Nice ta meet ya!" He turned his attention to Rain as she pulled out DVD's. "Ah! Movies?" He grinned and started to shuffle through them. He pulled out one with a dark blue cover. "This looks good." He had no idea what it was, but the colors were cool... So if the cover was cool it was obvious the movie would be good too!
