AIM Log: Ronso & Tahja || I have siblings...?

The days had gone by so slow it seemed like, but her childhood was well behind her now, and Elly wasn't totally sure how she felt about that.
Yeah, it was f*ing awesome to be at her full bodily potential, but, had she done the right amount of growing along with it? Somehow she didn't feel as if she had, what was she missing?
So... not even realizing it she'd come back home, to her birthplace at least. She was well beyond the jungle, and had intruded boldly on her old den, her mother's present den behind the waterfall. Was Kiva even at home? Around? Or would she be off with that mortal mate of hers...? (Even Elly found it hard to be repulsed by that these days, having befriended a few mortals of her own she started to get it finally, but she still refused to think she'd ever be in "love".)
Sleep had taken her under and the cool shade of the den continued to offer a relaxing hideaway. Along with the drifting mists of the waterfall that so cleverly hid her family away, Okimmi'kya stretched slightly as her tail curled aroud her body- claws extending from her small paws while her body seemed to stretch. Where her family had ventured off to she wasn't quite sure when they had left or where they had gone but there was a feeling, a strange feeling long before that she was alone.
Tiny ears seemed to flicker as a new scent seemed to waft within the air nearly hidden by the mist which the breeze seemed to draw into the den. Okimmi's maw twtiched slightly, small whiskers shifting as her eyes flickered open and a strange sensation seemed to tug at the back of her mind as sleep's embrace all be fleeted.
Someone was here.
The young cub quietly rose to her paws as her ears swiveled. She wasn't certain of what to do or who was present yet for all she knew it could simply be her own imagination running off with her once again. Biting her lower lip, Oki kept within the shadows.
Hopefully whatever it was would lose interest or venture elsewhere as the young cub wasn't sure what she would do if whatever it was seemed to have more of a bold curiosity or hunger pains.
Elly had noticed her right away. When a being like gods could detect other gods, detecting mortals was considerably childsplay. There were those with magical influence and those without. Mortals were those without, and normally they blended in due to their sheer number, but this one... was out of place. It wasn't Ororo, that was for sure.
So, with dogged determination she went on sniffing about, looking for the mortal she detected. Imagine her shock when she stopped to see the female cub hiding in the shadows. Elly stared, wide eyed and frowning.
"... Who are you?"
The sudden footsteps only seemed to solidify her fear, causing her ears to flatten against her head and her chest to tighten. She exhaled softly, trying to keep still but it seemed as if that wasn't necessary as a massive figure came into view- one certainly who wasn't in the greatest mood or perhaps wasn't actually expecting to find anyone or anything within the den. All too quickly her mind was reeling and strange sensations seemed to churn her stomach making her feel sick while the frame of her body shook slightly. Okimmi backed up slightly, her rear tapping into the wall of the den behind her which only seemed to kindle another fear; there was no way out except for the entrance behind the stranger.
This was not good.
Swallowing, Oki leveled her eyes with the stranger. "Shouldn't I be asking you the same question." Oh yes, a bit bold perhaps but it seemed underneath that scrawny and slightly timid exterior there certainly was a fire that seemed to burn underneath. The cub stared up into the strangers eyes, the shadows still masking the intruders form and leaving the cub uncertain and unknowing of who or what it was.
Oki's tail swayed behind her eyes narrowing slightly as her muzzle bunched up in a show of anger or as best she could while fear seemed to n** at her heels.
"Mom and dad don't like when strangers come into the den. You should leave before you have to deal with them...."

"....."
The shock was apparent as Elly stared down at the pale little bundle of fur. Mom and dad? Oh gods, he had done what to her mother?! So then this was her--
"Sister...? I have a sister?!"
Her mind reeled with the news, she fell to sit on her haunches rather abruptly and against her own will, still staring at Okimmi in a daze. Of course it was likely but the idea of coming home to this was just a... just, NO! NO no NO! (Though in all fairness, Kiva would be equally surprised to see Elly again were she here) Slowly the adult goddess slid forward until she was lying on her stomach, staring rather helplessly at the child before her.
"Where is m- ... where's your mother...?"
Though with the sudden shock of the stranger, Oki's eyes widened in alarm. Her ears perked upwards though she was a bit confused. Her small brows knitted with a slight confusion as the one before her seemed to slump downwards and become- well, a bit out of it. Though it was one word that seemed to trigger the small cubs own alarm as it seemed to leave from off of the strangers lips.
Sister.
Okimmi felt as if her stomach twisted another knot, that feeling as if confusion was slamming into her. Sister? Did she just- no. But was it real? The cub bit her lower lip, watching as the figure slid forward onto her stomach as in doing so the light from the entrance seemed to fully filter in and reveal the appearance of whatever must of been mistaken that she, Oki, was a sister, a sibling to this-
Her maw dropped as a small gasp seemed to whisk her small breath away. This stranger- this stranger was a goddess! A goddess just like-
"Y-you have wings...just like mom," she noted, a bit timid yet curious.
At the question presented, the cub tucked her tail around her body. To be honest she didn't have a clue on where they were and the only speculation she could make was that her family must have gone out for a walk and decided not to wake her. The past few days Oki hadn't been feeling good which was leaving her weak and rather tired from time to time and often someone was always nearby and perhaps even now her mother, father and her two brothers were lurking nearby.
Glancing up into the eyes of the goddess, Oki sighed. "I'm not sure. I think they went to go out hunting or....walking around. They don't like to stray too far since Dad's been keeping an eye on me to make sure I get better." There was a slight weakness at times in her voice but Oki tried to hide it- a certain strain or fatigued air seemed to eminate from her voice but she tried to fight it.
"I'm- I'm sure they'll be back soon."
Exhaling softly from out of her nostrils, the cub flicked her tail as she stepped forward and away from the wall.
"Are...are you...really my sister?"
"Get better." Those words had not managed to slip by, but in fact had been snapped up by Elly's ears. She frowned as she stared sternly at the cub, posing her question rather bluntly and without tact as per usual Elly... "What's wrong with you?"
The goddess snorted, shaking her head and ruffling her mane in doing so. This cub, whoever she was, was nothing like Elly had been at that age, maybe she took after her father.
"Well of course I'm your sister. You think I'd lie about that? You've got wing markings the same color as my mother's. Kiva...? ... Goddess of Unity, patron of this little spit of land?"
Elly glowered, but exhaled through her nose, shook her head, and looked away, feeling like a jerk for acting this way towards someone so little. God forbid she be a mother herself one day, would she tolerate someone talking to her kids that way? No! Hell no! Of course they'd better stand up for themselves before Elly had to, for their own good, but...
"... Yes. I'm your sister. Cham-- ... Elly. Call me Elly."

Ears seemed to fall slightly against her skull, brows knitting slightly as the small cub looked away for the moment and towards the ground. Her weakness was something she never quite liked to talk about but it was a part of her that was near impossible to escape. Oki just wanted to be normal like her brothers! She wanted to run just as fast, she wanted to be able to keep up with them but it seemed that she could only run so far and so fast until her lungs felt as if a great weight ws thrust upon them. But regardless how she felt, her parents always seemed to make her feel special and helped with chasing away her worries yet it seemed that her symptoms never could be chased away just as easily.
"I...have trouble breathing sometimes. I can't run fast and I get tired," she sighed, hesitantly chewing her lower lip.
Oki seemed to simply stare at Elly, arching a brow upwards. How was she suppose to instantly know? All of this new information was hitting her and catching her off guard that it just seemed....so strange but so totally awesome at the same time! Okimmi loved her brothers but it was good to know that she had an older sister who she could at least look up to and maybe perhaps help her grow stronger or perhaps even stronger than her brothers. The cub shrugged her shoulders and smiled.
"No- I just...didn't know what to expect I guess. Mom and Dad mentioned you before but I guess I never thought I'd get to meet you."
Oki tilted her head slightly, taking another step forward towards her sister. Even then it felt so weird to think she had a sister but at the same time excitement seemed to flood through her veins. Again the cub walked a bit forward and put her paws on her sisters paws, looking up at her.
"Elly," she repeated, liking the sound of the name. "I'm Okimmi'kya or just Oki for short." Oki offered a small smile as she continued staring up into her sisters eyes, somewhat marveled while curiosity peered through her eyes.
"Do I...have more brothers and sisters?"
Trouble breathing... Damn, well now Elly just felt worse. It wasn't fair that her younger sister would have a breathing condition, but suddenly Elly felt like she wasn't nearly grateful enough for being born so lucky. No abnormalities, no disease, an awesome domain, wings, healthy... She shouldn't be taking her life so much for granted, she realized all at once. Odd.
".... Why are you looking at me like that...?" Elly had mumbled under her breath as she stared the cub down.
She twitched, seeing Oki draw closer, but didn't pull away at the cub's touch, surprised that it wasn't as uncomfortable as she'd thought. She didn't even really notice it actually, damn but the girl was tiny...
"Okay... Oki. Yeah, but I wouldn't expect your brother any time soon. He's as distant as they come. He's the god of clouds and that's pretty much where his head always is." She shook her head frowning. She'd wanted to play with Devu when they were cubs, but he was always so spacey and quiet and withdrawn from them... "You might see Nyota once in a while though... She was always too girly and clingy for her own good." Elly shrugged a bit, still unable to stop staring at the tiny bundle in front of her. She was just so little and frail looking! Had Elly ever been that small?
For a small moment of silence between them, Oki's mind seemed lured to her sisters wings simply in awe. What did it feel like to fly? Though her mother had wings and now her sister it seemed like such a wonderful thing! Even the wind against her fur from a gentle breeze felt so good! It seemed hard to imagine what it must feel like but it had to be something spectacular. Other than her sisters wings her array of a spiky mane much like the quills of a porcupine were way cool! Oki could only wonder if they were just as harmful and potent.
Oki tilted her head slightly while her tail flicked behind her, maw gaping slightly. So she had other siblings? A brother who was the god of clouds? It was fatastic! And another sister? So two sisters and a brother! The cub couldn't help but grin from ear to ear as she stepped upwards upon Elly's paw and placed her right, forepaw on her sisters cheek.
"Devu is...the god of clouds and Nyota....what is she?" Her brows knitted slightly, pawing gently at her sisters face. "And what about you, Elly?"
Elly tried to remain firm, but she had to admit she liked the attention, feeling looked up to, liked, and not just because of what she could do to further someone's ambitions.
She let Oki paw and climb without a word of complaint, though she didn't budge either.
"Loyalty. And I'm the goddess of Tornadoes." She answered, watching Oki curiously. If she ever did have kids they'd never be impressed like this, they'd likely be godlings, like she'd been, Mrost's godlings specifically. It was almost disappointing though, she suddenly felt very sisterly indeed for the first time, but Kiva'd kill her if she corrupted her baby sister (or brothers).

The small cub simply was found in wonderment, displaying a small smile as she pressed her paws into her sisters fur and tried to stabalize herself as she stood up upon her back paws. Even still it felt strange- so exciting that here sat her sister, the goddess of tornadoes! Though Oki was weak and a bit smaller than most there was a part of her that truly wanted to be just like her sister. With only knowing Elly for a short while, Oki, for one so small and young, wanted to be like her; she wanted to be just as strong and seem so...cool.
Maybe she'd have to have her sister at least give her a few pointers. Elly seemed like she'd know how to help her get strong.
Oki couldn't help but laugh softly, stumbling backwards as she toppled upon her rump on her sisters paws with a sumersault onto her back. A small 'umph' sounded from her chest as she shook her head but rolled onto her stomach and stumbled up to her paws. A sudden sensation of fatigue seemed to course through her body as she scooted herself around and towards her sisters paw once again as her eyes drifted upwards once more to lock with her sisters.
"Are...you waiting for mom and dad to return to see them? Or are you going to hang around for a while?" Timid curiosity seemed to tug at her mind, a part of her hoping that her parents would arrive soon while the others pleading that her sister would stay longer. Yet the duties or what was expected of a god or goddess remained a bit hazy to her, Oki knew that some were at times very busy and such a duty required much out of anyone titled with a domain.
"We can surprise them if you want!" She added. "It will be fun!"
"Hmm... not sure." Elly shrugged a bit, shifting her paws discreetly to make room for Oki if she wanted to settle between them. She looked a bit sleepy and honestly that was how Elly was starting to feel herself. "I guess I could stick around for a little while."
Truth be told Elly did a whole lot of nothing each day, besides her training regiment and more recently this bet with Ahai. She just wanted to relax today though so, why not curl up to nap with her sister? What harm would it do?

Her fatigue was once again settling in though as before it had caused her a simple fault in her balance and let her stumble down, that feeling once again was starting to make her very sleepy. Oki's eyes watched as her sister shifted her paws as a cozy spot seemed to be made that was just wide enough for her to nestle in. Looking up at her sister, Okimmi'kya sluggisghly stumbled over and between her sisters paws as a small yawn escaped from her maw.
"You should..." Oki replied with a smile as her maw widened greater and greater until it closed shut. "Mom and dad would be so happy...and you can meet our brothers too."
As her small body stretched slightly and shifted slightly for a more comfortable and snuggly setting, Oki's eyes began to slowly close as fighting off the urge to nap was inevitable.
"I'm...glad you're my sister...Elly."
With another great yawn, the small cub was fast asleep. It seemed as if the extra warmth worked wonders rather than curling up on the stone ground of the den which, for now, soothed and comforted the little cub.
There was no harm in a nap- none at all! Though wouldn't it be exciting when Kiva and Ororo and the two boys to return? It would certainly be a surprise!
"...." Elly had been a bit stunned by that declaration, not expecting such a comment after just meeting Oki, but Elly didn't mind yet again. She still wasn't the fluffy sentimental type, so she couldn't bring herself to say it back, but she did sigh softly, shutting her eyes, and allowed a low, rumbling purr to rattle her chest softly. She hadn't purred since she was almost a newborn cub... yet she felt like it now. She let Oki curl up there and get comfortable, returning the sentiment even if only in her thoughts. "Sleep tight squirt..." She finally managed, keeping a groggy watch over the entrance of the family den.
So being a big sister.... really wasn't so bad, and maybe... just maybe, she could get used to cubs after all.
