For a while now, Chipo traveled with a enlarged mid-section. Her and Geheim have been waiting for this day for what seemed forever and it appeared to finally arrive.
"Geheim!" Chipo yelped for help. "I don't feel right..." she told him, wincing in pain. She layed down and suddenly felt weak. She looked at her belly and it seemed the puppies inside her were dancing around in her, almost knowing they would be seeing the world very soon. "I think it's time, sweetheart." she said, smiling at him, trying to ignore the pain a little.
And so it was time for their worlds to change forever...

Geheim had only recently found that the female he'd been traveling with was pregnant, and now she was ready to have them?
His heart starting beating rapidly, and he looked at her with bright ruby eyes.'
"Time?"
He was completely hoping it was timef or something else..Like..Time to eat, or..TIme to sleep..Just not time to....

As the pains got more intense, Chipo heard a small cry from behind her. Was it?
"Geheim?" she asked, hoping he would look to see where the cry came from. Chipo was hoping it was the first baby. How many were in there was a question that the female had been wondering for a while now.

Geheim looked as a small pup somehow magically appeared beside her. As he was watching, he felt light headed, and the poor new father fell over, in a dead faint.

As Geheim fell over, Chipo's eyes widened. "Geheim? Hunnie?!?" she yelped and kicked at him a bit to hopefully wake him up. She seemed to be now alone on working this birth. She knew she could do it. Other hyenas did it all of the time, right?
Looking back, she saw a small, totally tan colored pup. It seemed to be a little boy. She gently picked it up and brought it to her side where it immediantly started feeding. Now licking the pup, more pain started to come. Trying to ignore it, she thought up a name for her new son. "Do you like the name Raziki, little one?" she smiled and nudged the pup before being taken over in pain.
Another pup appeared.

Geheims eyes were wide when he woke..As if the sounds of herin pain had woken him..Which itr had been a mix of that the force of the kick she had sent his way to wake him.
When he sat up, his face was smiling.
"Howmany?"
He asked breathless,as if he thought she was done.

Noticing that Geheim had waken, she sighed in relief. "I thought I'd have to do this alone." she frowned. "There are two babies so far." she told him and picked up the next pup, who was mostly white. You could see the little roots of a mane though, which was dark brown. "I think your name should be Oluchi" she said to the little hyena. This pup seemed to be a female. Setting it down next to the tan pup, she licked Oluchi clean also.
As she looked at Geheim, she wrinkled her nose. Another pup must have been on it's way.

He gave her a nudge, still feeling quite uneasy, and the whole thought of pups right now made him want to keel over again.. But he gave her a couragous smile and spoke softly.
"I wouldnt let you do this alone."
In all honesty, hed love to not be here for this..He just felt like he was messing things up watching this somehow..but he'dbe there for her.
He looked at the two pups with a smile, a litlte male and female..Odds were good so far.

Sure enough, there were more coming. A small female pup entered this world and she ended up being very pale in color also. It seemed as though most of these puppies were taking after their mother.
Nudging this girl towards the other two hyena puppies, Chipo knew this wasn't where the show ended. She gazed at Geheim, smiling. "I know I wouldn't be able to do this without you, sweetie. I'm glad I have someone around for support." She would end up naming this little girl Chikiri.
She felt more pain in her belly.

He smiled at the other little female that had entered into the world, and he felt a sruge of glee.
"Yes you could, but Im here anyway."
He said with a grin. He knew she could..she had dealt with it while he had been passed out. Giving her another nuzzle, he awaited more pups anxiously.

She beamed at Geheim. She didn't know where she would be without him. She wouldn't have these beautiful miracles coming right now for sure. She was full of glee that she was finally a mother and could share more of her love. She finally had family... something she had been waiting to have for quite some time. Ever since her parents were murdered, life hadn't been the same. It was lonely. Geheim came along and saved her though and gave her a home. She loved him more than anything in the world. Except the pups of course. She figured it was better to say that she loved her family more than anything now.
"I love you." she mumbled, puffing. She felt another pup on the way.
It was another girl. A white female again. Only this one was a bit different. She had a tan mane sprouting out that reminded Chipo of Geheim. "Welcome into the world, Esperanza." she smiled, nuzzling her. The pain continued. How many pups were there?

Gehiem was shocked, as the words I love you had never actually been spoken between them before.. They had been intimate, they had been friends, but the words had never truly been spoken.
He smiled softly, looking surprised still, but he was smilingwhich was good.
She had given him children.. and thougha few seasons ago he would have spat at the word children..he loved the thought of this..and hated the thought of losing her.
"I love you too."
He whispered, leaning into to ruffle her mane slightly.
He looked down at his little Esperanza and smiled..
"Our Hope.."
He said softly, as Esperanza meant hope, and was the name of his sister, who had dissappeared when they were pups..It felt do suitable.

The first time saying those three words. Chipo knew she meant it and she could feel that Geheim meant it too.She would never want to let him go, wanting to spend the rest of her life with him.
Smiling, when he returned the expression of love, it felt as though the pain of giving birth had faded for just a second. Her heart fluttered and she felt more in love than ever. It was a wonderful feeling.
Before the birth of the puppies, Chipo had gone over names and Esperanza did seem to fit well. She definately had no objections to naming one of the females after Geheim's long lost sister. She gave a lick to Geheim's cheek and winced shortly after.
A second male was born. He was pure white just like his mother. A spitting image. "Look at our new son." she gave a slight chuckle. "Who does he remind you of?" And with this, she scooted him over by the group of babies also.
Still... more pain remained.

He smiled, looking at the completely white ball of fluff and grinned, looking the proud father.
"Hes gorgeous, splitting image of a gorgeous female."
He said with a nod, his dark mane falling over his red eyes..
The same red eyes that the white pup would carry.
He loved that the pups were all such a lovely mixture of them..There were no oddballs..They all looked related, all looking like siblings.

She giggled and concentrated back onto the aches in her belly.
Last but not least, came a brown female. She looked nothing like the others, but her features came from Geheim. She had a white and brown mane, the white on her mane being the only reminder of Chipo. She was a cute little hyena and differed from the rest of the litter. You could pick out think little girl like a sore thumb.
"The name Kolade fits you well." she told the little pup.
A little while after Kolade arrived, the pain subsided. The new family of Geheim, Chipo, and their six children had now been created.
"So what do you think?" she asked Geheim. He was a new father to six hyenas. What a number.
