 This was my first try at Virtra... but I hate the face. The rest of it is fairly decent and I like the dress and the attitude I gave the piece.... but since I couldn't stand the face I did a second try:  This one I LOVE the face... I actually love it!! But the dress makes her look fat! I love the little shoulder wrap, but no the dress... first dress with the second face... and the hands on this one just look like crap! URGH!! But I was bored and thought I could draw... WHOO HOO!! I WANT FLAMES!! If I don't see this thread burning by tomorrow... then I demand some form of a complement!! pirate

First pic:
I like your blends and shading. You've got a good grasp on that. Your hands and fingers need a bit of work, might want to look into just a hand study. I avoid drawing those, personally, lol...Other than that...The hair might need a bit more natural lines. It's good and fits the style but looks a little stiff compared to the descriptions I've read of Virtra.
Over all its very good, I couldn't have done anywhere near as good a job but you always fuss at me if I don't give an honest opinion razz
Second PIc:
The hair is much improved as far as how naturally it falls and appears. The face is cute and captures some of Virtra's personality...but you're right about the dress, it makes her look fat. I always imagined Virtra looking healthy, but naturally boney...sort of giving off the idea she is frail and then...yeah, well, you die...
Other than that I liked it. Well done, especially for first attempts.

image 1- she looks old and young at the same time. I don't know if this was intended or not... she has youthful skin, all soft and smooth and yet sagging breasts. yes everyone I pointed out her breasts. stare
Also I have a thing about eyes and unless she has black irises their wrong ^^
image 2- I'm not sure she looks exactly FAT but she doesn't look as slim. maybe she just went on a 48 hour bender?

The first image looks really good. I like the dress and the hair, but I agree with what you said about the face. It seems a little small, and are those horns or hair clips? I also agree with Dante, her boobs are sagging... >_> <_<
Second image, truth be told, she looks like a corner prostitute. Well, a high class courtesan (she has a fancy dress and all). The dress is only makes her look fat because she has wide hips. Nothing wrong with ladies with wide hips...
But yes, second image's face + first images body = Virtra

I have to say Sarai, I like the clothing styles quite a bit especially this last one though it makes me think of Twi'leks... The long and high collar seem ideal for lekku.

Meet Rav! I drew him with a more mange influenced style, because he's such a pretty kid that I thought it did him a little more justice. His about five nine and he's a perfect gentleman, which I hope I could convey some of his innocence into the drawing, but I don't know... you'll have to tell me. What really made me happy is that his uniform shirt came out perfect! (everything from the end of this shirt down sucks, but I can't draw hands or feet very well so... meh. Tell me what you think.
