i think Tom Morello is overrated. His style is not difficult at all. It sounds great, but its just not hard to do as long as you have a killswitch, and the ability to scrape your pick. Im not trying to demean him, though. He does have a very unique and interesting playing style.

well if u have a guitar wired like a les paul u can just zero out the volume on the neck pickup and use the pickup selecter switch as a killswitch
(or just rip out some wires)

if you people actually listen to the guy its alot more than just the kill swicth and stuff, he has so many sounds and he's and amazing guitarist, kisten to the solo from Know Your Enemy by Rage Against the machine, it's completly amazing the way he does it. Then youll understand him as a guitarist a little better, cuz if you just listening to like bulls on parade and stuff then it's no big deal but he's better than that so yeah

i never said he wasn't good, i was just trying to figure out that rythem from bulls, a perfect example of how good he is is the guitar battle vs Tom in GH3, i have said song on my i-pod and listen to it pretty often.

i did get a chance to watch a vid of a guitar world lession session with tom on youtube (witch u would c if u just put in his name)
its actualy pretty cool stuff
