Alyna smiled, looking up at the azure sky with pleasure. It was such a lovely day. A light breeze tugged gently at her mane and tail, the grass was soft and slightly prickly under her hooves, and today, of all days, she wished she could just take off into that blue sky, to be able to see what the earth looked like from high in the air.
She grinned foolishly at herself. What was she thinking? The sky wasn't hers for the taking. It belonged to those with wings. Yet she wondered, as she would always wonder, what it would be like to fly. She walked forward, her head facing the heavens, enjoying the first beautiful day she had seen for a long while.

The stallions amethyst gaze was straight ahead as he walked. He normally disliked the day, but he had gone too far from home, and was now trecking back. He wanted to get into the security of the trees..He hated feeling vulnerable.
The wing pattern on his back gleamed in the sunlight, and he hummed as he went.
He was rather bored,as no onehad really been around at all..But he was okay with that today.

Alyna walked along, staring at the sky, lost in her daydreams as usual. So she didn't see the blue-tinged stallion. She just kept walking, not noticing that their paths were going to intersect, that she would soon be face to face with him.
She was too busy imagining about flight...about wind currents and clouds.
