Welcome To Palahala's Herd! 
Palahala is the god of Prey and he loves his subjects so much that he spends much of his time simply within a herds ranks, so he's going to set up his own little herd!
Palahala will eventually discover that he has the power to hide a herd, to make it invisable to it's predators and therefore protect it. So he starts his own little garden of eden sort of thing, where klippys and other prey beasts can run free, without the fear of being atatcked and eaten!
Palahala will get a very close klippy friend and she (yes she XD) will be very cocky and protective over the little cub. She will become the head of the herd working beside Pala to recruit and keep everyone safe.

The Herd!
The herd will be based in a large grassy valley that Palahala will keep safe, predators will not be able to find this vally.
Anyone may leave this vally but if they do they can no longer be protected by Palahala They are on their own.
Ranks
There is always a head of the herd, along with some other prime possitions.
Protector of the herd - This is Palahala, he will be the top protector using his powers to make sure they don't get eated.
Head of the Herd - Zebadie
Cheif Advisor - Open (1 - 2 places only) - This possition would be best suited for someone whom is a little older and very wise in their years. They will advise both the herds head & palahala if something needs to be done. They need to be a trusted advisor.
Care Takers - open (1 - 5 of this position) - This posssition requires a keen eye for food maintenance! They are after all in a vally and theres only so much scoff to be had. They want to keep famine away so they will be the ones whom decide where the herd will graze on a day to day / weekly basis, they will also be the ones whom maintain the ground / soil / plants and make sure there is no desease in them. They may also maintain small orchards of varying fruits for celebrations.
Head scout - Abhay- The bravest of the scouts the head scout runs around making sure that any in need are invited to the herd. He also manages the other scouts of the herd, gicvving them rondevous points and making sure they are well trained for the world outside.
Scouts - Open (unlimited) - The valley is heavily protected by Palahalas powers and these guys go out and about to find others whom need protection. This possition is best filled by someone level headed and swift of hoof, someone brave and not afraid of the out side world as they will be the least protected when they are outside of the safe zone.
Nannys - Open (Unlimited) - This goes without explination really. These are mothers whom band together to make sure fawns don't go astray or get themselves lost. They will also take in orphans and raise them like their own. They are usually very loving, maternal ladies whom will take in any calf, fawn or kit that needs their help.
Doe - Open (Unlimited) the general female members of the herd.
Buck - Open (Unlimited) The general male members of the herd.
Fawn / Calf - All babies (calf - waterbuck, fawn - klippy) fall under this catagory until they grow to adult.

Religion
There isn't really a religion per'se, just generally because their god protector watches over them and walks amongst them like he is one of the herd.
They love and appreciate palahala and will bring him gifts of fruit and other such delecaces, which he much appreciates as he refuses to take the life of anyone in his domain.
Celebrations
The Rutt
The herd celebrates once a year the great Rutt, this is the time of year when the males butt heads to fight for the ladies they love and proove they are man enough.
It can be a rather hectic time of year but afterwards they celebrate together by harvesting the fruit from the trees which grow in the valley and having a great feast. Palahala sits at the head of the 'table' and may sometimes grant wishes to members of his herd at this time.
Other Info
This is a klipspringer & Waterbuck based herd, however palahala will never turn away a hare or none prey bird. This herd may also (if you want it to) be used to rp none exsistant creatures such as zebra, wilderbeast antelope etc.

Brief Description of the current status of your Pride/Pack: (This only has to be a paragraph or two long.It will be placed in the Current Prides/Packs/Clans/Tribes thread.) As a cub palahala met a very cocky Klispringer called Zebadie, she taught him how to be brave rather than frightened all the time. As they became close friends Zebadie suggested that palahala should have a herd as he longed to spend time with the prey beasts his domain entailed. Finding the perfect place Palahala used all his young strength to protect the Valley hiding it from all predators, inclueding his brother making it a safe haven for all prey beasts.
The herd is currantly flourishing with the birth of several fawns, and the recruitment of new members.

Herd History: A herd created by The god of prey, it is a peaceful Valley where all prey beasts are welcome and safe from the outside world.
The head of the Herd, Zebadie, has put in to force many proceedures to keep the vally prosperous for generations to come. They have learned to harvest fruit and grains, to maintain the ground where they graze and there by maintaining their safe way of life.
There is mainly only one god in their culture, the god of prey, though he is more their patron saint, he walks amongst them making sure that all is well. They worship other gods, charity, rain, beauty and love to name but a few, the gods they beleive bring joy to their valley along side Palahalas protection.
