^o^ This past weekend was Anime Central in Chicago, Illinois. One of the most fun conventions in the Northwest this year, if you ask me. Even though our group (AWOL Cosplayers/Panelists) was bogged down with running 5 panels and participating in the masquerade and Masquerade ball, we managed to get some sexy pictures~~ :3

(Unfortunately, though, our skit wasn't Naruto this time ((it was at OhayoCon, and I'm sure some of you have seen it)) it was Bleach).

Anyways, these pictures are primarily, Chieira, myself, and Pyramidzombie.



xD I think these two make the best Itachi and Sasuke pair I have ever seen @_@ So hot.

Great costumes. I got a couple of pictures from Supercon (Florida Supercon that is), but none of them are yaoi-ful... T~T

Here are some pictures from Florida Supercon May 2008. I'm dressed as TS Hinata and my cousin, Ginakage, went as a Gothic Loita and she took all of the pictures that I'm in... the others I took. Anyways, I was going through my pictures again and I found this one. It's the same Naruto and Itachi from the 5th one down.

Oh, no, the sign thing wasn't because it was yaoi. All cons have rules like that now. They didn't always, but I think there were legal troubles or something like that. You can't even carry signs offering glomps or anything like that. Most cons don't even let you carry signs anymore at all, no matter what they say, unless they directly pertain to your cosplay. As in, the character you're cosplaying has to actually carry a sign in the series for you to be allowed to carry one. Otherwise, they're not allowed at most cons.

Yeah... some cons also have rules against glomping. Basically, a bunch of a**l people got together and complained, "Those 'will ___ for ___' signs are prostitution!" and "I don't like random people hugging me!" and so glomping and signs got banned. I think you can still glomp if you ask permission, but yeah. My opinion on the whole thing is, basically, if you can't handle the typical things that go on at a con, uh, don't go to a con.
