I think that DP will very much approve.
And oh yesh PMOD, I will never forget how seeing Daft Punk Live made me feel. In fact, as I watch the videos on the site I get chills.

So when this is finally "finished" in June, does that mean that the DVD will be completely free of charge?

It is canceled.
Author's decision based on the creators of the original songs that Daft Punk sampled probably not being very happy with this free DVD.
Thing is there is some some of "special suprise" on June 14th at 9PM France time on the website, after which it will be shut down.
