why do non furries join furry guilds if they are going to get mad at the way we act? i mean really, if you don't like us (or don't like what we affiliate with, like vore and fur cubs) then why do you hang around it? *shakes my head*
i was just curious... can anyone answer that one?

Huh. I guess most people are afraid of anything that's different. I'm gonna have to say it's natural but I dunno. In any case, the people that are more tolerant are usually the people who are different. sweatdrop

Maybe some non furs are curious about furry fandom, so they join a guild to get a better idea of it, however they quickly find out they dislike it so they get mad and yell at people.
Or they know they hate furries and so they join just for the pure pleasure of flaming us in our own clubs.
There are probably other ways but these seem like the most likely.

the reason i ask is cuz i've been flamed by non-furs on alot of furry places... i think they jus want to be mean to us.... hay, we have feelings to ya know... *nod nod*

once again referencing the 'people fear what they don't understand.' thing. One way to deal with fear is to ridicule/ put down the object of you're fear so it doesn't seem so significant. Also there are many bad images going around about furries. The bad part being that they are almost all true for at least a portion of us. So since we're all lumped together as a 'furry race' so to speak. The negative actions of some of us are reflected to all of us, even when thats not the case.

It's only natural. People put down whatever they are not to cover up their own faults. Cliched phrase or idea but still valid.

I had actually made a thread in the main forums asking why so many people hate furries, basically, it came down to "Cause you ******** animals!" or something that has to do with yiff. someone said it's also because furries b***h about how they're hated so much, then people get annoyed and hate the furries or something like that. I think I still have it in my subscribed threads *goes to dig through my pile of stuffs and doesn't find it* Guess I deleted it sweatdrop *comes back 20 minutes later with it after searching through the forums, then just going to my old posts* A question for all furry haters

that's lame. Where would furries get the idea of them being hated then. It's because it all started with the haters. It's like "what came first: the chicken or the egg?" but in this case it's like, "what came first: the big bang or the earth?"
