I'm a regular for voting at the Avatar Arena. It's fun, and it passes time. : 3
In my opinion, I can't have something with no description, little description, or a description that's not thought out very well. I especially don't like the 'This is me, if you don't like it, deal with it.'
As other people are saying, everyone loves a cosplay. x D
It has to be something fresh. New. Like, pokemanz for example. I saw a Magmar a few months ago, and now I see a Farfetch'd. I love something silly, as well. Lolz. : D
It's either not cluttered, or WAY cluttered. Can't be somewhere in between. It's a possibility to like something that's cluttered on purpose. x 3
Also, make sure the colors all compliment eachother and that they're the right shades. You could always search around some of the forums and look for good Tekteks, that might give a little help. And please, PLEASE don't do the Angel/Devil, Dark Angel, Light Angel, Dark Devil, Light Devil, etc. thing. Too overdone, in my opinion. ; ~ ;
OH, OH! And what really REALLY helps is to advertise your Avatar EVERYWHERE. : 3
It attracts lots of people, and gets you more votes.
