What personal methods does everyone use to beat the tough competition and swipe the cheapest items in the market?
I use all the shortcut keys available at my fingertips to click, paste my password, and press enter as quickly as possible. Even though this only takes me a second if I don't slip up, it's hard to believe there are people who always beat me to the good buys. Some users just seem to have ungodly speed. O_o
Also, I used to spend a few minutes at a time refreshing my mp window so I wouldn't miss a deal, but it wasn't until today that I realized gaia could think that I'm using a bot. O_o;;
Could I get banned for manually refreshing pages too much? Even if it's not likely, I don't think I'm going to risk it anymore... but is there any other option for me to find the best deals without constantly refreshing the page?

Every 15-20 minutes try going to another forum to post. During events or item updates I'm in the MP refreshing and I haven't had a problem yet.

Thanks for the good advice, posting proves that you're a human user, especially now that we have to sometimes type in the codes to post. >.>
I refresh sometimes now, but not enough to bother the server. Better to be safe than sorry. =(

I had an incident awhile ago where a key on my keyboard got stuck and sent a LOT of refresh requests to Gaia. After a certain number of them I got a message like "you're sending too many requests, we're cutting you off for 5 minutes, come back later".
It was embarrassing more than anything else, and I realized the amount I'm refreshing manually doesn't even cause a blip.
