Nick was a bit floundered by the amount of homework he had at the present moment. He was in the library at the present moment, just reading though he was ignoring his homework for the time being. He was supposed to meet his group for the project they were doing but it seemed no one was showing up so, as usual, he'd be left to do it alone.
He wasn't sure if he minded or not though since he enjoyed doing a certain amount of work. He adjusted the rimless glasses that he was wearing so they were in the proper place and put a book mark between the pages so he'd be able to come back to the same spot.

Cryea wasn't sure what she was forgetting.
She had done everything she remembered she was supposed to do today:wake up. Take a shower. Brush teeth/hair. Apply clothes/makeup. Leave for school. Come back home.
Maybe she was forgetting her homework. She checked her electronic planner. It was beeping, 'meet teammates for project'.

Cyrea hurried to the library, biking without a helmet. This probably was insane, but Cyrea could be insane sometimes, so it made sense. When she arrived, she entered and looked for the group. As usual, only the geek was there.
Figured.

When one of the group member entered and found him he let out a slight sigh. He wouldn't be alone for once so it wasn't that bad but it was her. He didn't understand why the only person that came had to be the most popular one in the group. She probably hated him.
He got a few things out of the backpack that was next to him and that included the outline for the project and what they were supposed to be researching. Half of him wondered why he hadn't just taken the project on by himself because none of them would have protested. It would have gotten it done and taken care of.
"Did you forget?" he asked nonchalantly.
It was more of rhetorical question but he had a feeling that she didn't know that so he would laugh at her (on the inside) if she did answer it. When had gotten his pencil out and a few books for their project he seemed pretty much set to get the project started.

Cyrea sighed and sat down. "Don't rub it in." She flipped out a mechanical pencil and leaned over a book with a notebook on the side for anything interesting.

Cyrea chewed on the blue and green plastic as she stared at her blank page. "Eh. I got into it, again. Gotta stop doing that..." She mumbled and searched the book for population and other quick facts on Haiti. She had tried reading through the book and gotten completely absorbed, like she usually did when she was trying to study or write a report. She remembered that there was a little box with facts in the world encyclopedia, so there might be one in here. But doing it this way made her want to sleep. Just something about it made it so completely tiresome.
((shut up, they are now doing a report on Haiti. XD))

He was already taking notes at this point. The most important things that is, like the population and the area of the place, and especially the location. He wasn't interested in this topic, but he hadn't picked it so he had room to complain if he wanted to.
"Find the population yet, or are you asleep again?" he asked, though again it was rhetorical.
He didn't trust her much but then again she wasn't with her friends so he might be safe. He got picked on at school occasionally because of his habit of studying a lot. He was thinking about getting more trendy glasses but wasn't sure if his parents would let him.

"Shut up. I just suck at this." Cyrea bit her lip and went through the facts again, making sure she had everything. She glanced back up at the boy across the table. Then, on a whim, she reached over, removed his glasses and cupped his face in her palm. She looked him over, then let him go and gave him the glasses back. "I suggest contact lenses."

Nick was a bit shocked at first when his glasses were taken off. He couldn't figure out her expression but when she spoke he relaxed slightly. When he got his glasses back and turned back to the page.
He was slightly embarrassed because she'd managed to do the one thing that bothered him the post. He hated it when people touched his face or his glasses.
"So trendy glasses won't work?" he asked after a moment.
He was desperate to be accepted at this point and wasn't sure what she'd think. Nick had to admit it though, he did have a slight crush on her. She was pretty, and her hair was always perfect.

He was shocked, well more like beyond shocked, when she said that he had a cute face. He was unable to speak for a moment. He just nodded to answer her and returned to his notes.
His focus wasgone and he almost seemed lost at the moment. He tried to look through the book but couldn't help but glance to see if she'd written anything, just to see part of her. He scowled then and glared at the page, forcing himself to concentrate.

Cyrea had gotten used to the nod by now. She couldn't help putting things like that, but if they didn't know her, the fact that she was just actually talking to her was enough to shock them. But, well, it was true. His face WAS cute. And the glasses were totally hiding it. If he followed her directions, he'd probably end up with girls squealing over him all school the next day.
Hm. Maybe that wasn't a good thing in his mind.
Still, she'd liked him for a while. But he had been so far down on the popularity scale since forever, she never could admit it.
So instead, she went back to her note taking.

Nick had nearly gotten refocused when his glasses shifted slightly. He hated his glasses but they'd been the least expensive thing. He'd have to talk to his parents tonight and convince them that the glasses just weren't made for him. He let out a slight sigh and put his head down on the book in front of him.
Slowly counting he waited for her to actually say something about this, though he expected her note to.
1... 2... 3... 4... 5... 6... 7... 8... 9... 10...
He needed to coll down and remind himself that she was popular and he was not. The awareness of this was overwhelming.
