I haven't watched the anime yet, but I've read the manga, and it's really, really interesting.
I've only borrowed two volumes off a friend, but I'm planning on splurging all the money I earn on it at my local anime shop, or Anime North. XD;

^^ That guy's had TONS of roles, like seriously, if you look him up on ANN it's staggering. Yet I hardly know any of the series he's had major roles in so....

And since he's Groose, well hell, it fits. XD

I personally had like a double fangasm when I found out that our new Zelda was voiced by none other than the original Winry Rockbell. ^o^ SO MUCH WIN

If anyone cares, I've found a not-too-old interview from last year's Otakon with Akira Sasanuma, the voice of Twilight Princess Link. I've recently become enamored with Hetalia in which he coincidentally plays my favorite character, Austria, which is a lot of fun.

Check it out here!. He does mention some interesting things about playing TP!Link.

And if you'd like to hear him sing as Austria....which I would take to be as very similar to how TP!Link would sound if he were singing, lol....(this is one of the reasons why I have so much fun with Sasanuma-san playing Austria; it's like we get to hear Link talk). I heard him say during a seiyuu event that he had never really sung before, which is interesting because he sure isn't bad at it!

Funnily enough, you can find Sasanuma-san in a few English anime convention videos like Otakon and Anime North where he was a guest at Hetalia panels. Though he doesn't speak English much, he's a really friendly and hilarious guy.

Awww, damn. I couldn't afford to go this year either way.

OH GOD you should totally watch it sometime!!!!!! Canada's character is cute but doesn't get enough screentime imo. The show is a total crackfest.

Ooooooh!!! I'm excited for you! That should be so fun. I'd love to go to a good con again sometime. I've only been to one once and it was then discontinued; the current Anime St. Louis isn't all that great. :/
