Taja walked along the edge of a lake in the center of the forest. She smiled as she smelt the fresh air enter her nose. I love this place and one day I will bring my foals here... That is when I have them she thought to herself as she layed down next to the water. A frog jumped onto a lilly pad. All the animals seem to not care that I am here either.. she said as she took a drink from the lake.

Zakaili was enjoying the slight breeze. The past few days had been hot; hotter than usual, at least. He usually didn't go by the lake, mainly because the two-legger kept water at the teepee. Prancing towards the lake, he slowly dipped his muzzle into the water, enjoying how cool it felt. Looking up after he guzzled some water, he looked out over the lake. It's beautiful out here; and so peaceful! This was a great place to relax. He liked it here: it wasn't overly loud, or crowded.

Taja looked across the lake and noticed a stallion with wings. I LOVE those wings! she thought excitedly. Taja got up and galloped over to him. "Hello." she said smiling. "I'm Taja. Who might you be?" she asked as she stared at his wings.

Zaka was shocked when the female from across the lake galloped to him. He shifted, slightly uncomfortable; she was staring his wings. My girly wings are nothing to stare at! He thought, he didn't really like the colors; they were to feminine for his liking. As he shifted, his wings fluttered lightly. "'lo." He spoke softly. "I'm Zakaili...Zaka for short. It's nice to meet you." If one thing was definite, he was a gentleman; for the most part.

"Hello Zaka." she said as she looked into his eyes. "I love your wings.. " she said as a smile crossed her muzzle. "Umm... Sorry I just kinda showed up." she said as she flicked her tail. "I just saw your wings from the other side and I had to come and see them." she said giggling alittle. He is rather handsome. she thought to herself.

((Oops! XD I made a typo! It's supposed to be 'Zaka', not 'Zaja'. it's my fault. >.<))
"Well...that's a first. The last mare insulted me, and told me that they weren't very pretty." He grinned, he couldn't remember the mare name, but he definitely remembered her attitude. The mare in front of him now, Taja, was much friendlier. "Thank you though...I've always thought they were a bit feminine..." He grinned at the pretty burgundy and white mare.

"She has got issues." she said trying to figure out why someone would say that about those wonderful wings. "I don't think they are." she said tilting her head. "They go great with the rest of you." she said as she blushed. "I didn't mean it like that..." she said still blushing.

Giving a snort, he stares at her. "Are you saying that I'm not pretty?" He was teasing her slightly. He, for the most part, didn't care about what others thought of his looks. "Yeah, she had plenty of them. Something about how everyone is below her, and to exist with her, you must pretty much grovel at her hoofs...?" He shrugged. "And thanks...they do go well." Leaning in he whispered to her. "They match the tips of my hair." He was joking around.

"I think you are very pretty." she said blushing. "But not in a I love you kinda way...." she said shaking her head. "This is coming out wrong.." she said sighing. "She sounds like this Kalona I know... I came up to him at random and yeah... He is Antirr. You met him?" she asked as she smiled. "You are right!" she said getting a closer look at his mane.

Laughing in a merry sort of way, he shook his head, sending is mane everywhere. "It's fine. I know what you mean. Truthfully...it'd be creepy if you loved me, since we only just met." He then shook his head once more, not recognizing the name. "No, never met him. I might end up remembering her name later on, sometime." As she leaned in, he backed up a bit. Zakaili wasn't exactly used to closeness. "Of course I'm right! I grew up with this mane!"

"Yeah it would." she said laughing and backing up. "Sorry.. I get distracted easily." she said smiling at him as she looked into his eyes. "We talked about how he thinks love is useless... And he said a bunch of things that he thought was true. And I had to agree. He explained to me why I don't have a mate and never will." she said laughing. "Not that I don't want to..." she said blushing again.

"He called me a airhead to." she said laughing. "I got him mad.. and then he took me to meet his mom. To make her 'happy' that it wasn't anonther evil mare." she said smiling. "I do want a mate.. I just want someone unique.. different. Ya know?" she asked as she flicked her tail. "But I havn't found anyone who was really like that... Your different but.. Darn." she said. "I'm doing it again. I'm straying away from what I mean." she said laughing. "I'm sorry." she said smiling at him. "And I want that someone special to be with me forever. Not mate and then leave me alone." she said looking into his gold-ish eyes.

"You are." she said smiling. "But I just met you." she said laughing. "You are really nice and you would be a great father..... Darnit. I did it again!" she said smiling agian. "Yeah. And I wan't someone who would never do that. Not saying I think you would...." she said as she looked down and took a deep breath. "I can't stop." she said as she laughing and looked back up.
