Hey yo! Hey yo! No, wait, that's too cheery for this RP... Yo! Yo! Yo! Nope, still not... Well, never mind. It doesn't make too much difference anyway. But now you're probably wondering why we can't have something cheery, hmm? Because this a post-apocalyptic RP! Whoo!
The story so far...
We've finally brought it upon ourselves: The End of Days. But it didn't happen in the way you would've expected.
Christmas, 2010
Four girls sitting around their tree are opening their presents. Soon, one is left, and no one knows who it's from or for. Finally, one of the girls takes it upon herself to look at the card.
"What's the card say?"
"'From a vengeful God.' Pfft, yeah right. Where'd you get the cool wrapping paper?"
"I didn't.
"I don't think we should open that one..."
"I agree. It could be dangerous."
"Oh, come off it. This is obviously some kind of joke. Your specialty, correct?"
"Yeah, but I didn't... I honestly don't have anything to do with that. Don't open it!"
But it was too late.
"NO!"
The three girls shouted in unison, but it couldn't be helped. The fourth girl had torn just a small corner of the paper off already. A bright white light shown forth, and the four were knocked out.

Rules
Well, there's all the basic stuff: No god-moding, no killing other peoples' characters without permission, blah blah blah... But there are also some more that pertain to this in particular:
o1. Each preset character has a preset personality. Make sure you know what you're getting into before you pick one.
o2. You can be a character other than a preset, but they're all pretty much mutants and demons and stuff like that.
o3. This will have some elements of romance (obviously), but remember the Gaia ToS: Nothing over PG-13.
o4. Same goes for violence.
o5. Now, this is kinda tricky: If you want a preset character to be bi, it's... alright, but a main guy can't hook up with a main guy unless a main girl hooks up with another main girl. ...Does that make any sense at all?
o6. Title your PM 'What happens now?' so I know you read the rules.

There'll be eight main or 'preset' characters. Four girls and four guys. (Conveinent, no?) When the apocalypse hits, they each get transformed some way into a supernatural being. Plus, they all get elemental powers.
Girl 1 Suggested name: KC
Personality: Neutral, but somewhat quick to anger. Smart, but a little goofy at the same time.
Element: Fire

Girl 2 Suggested name: Chrysty
Personality: Funny. She pulls pranks on everyone any chance she gets. Takes a lot to get her angry, but it makes for a huge explosion.
Element: Water

Girl 3 Suggested name: Jade
Personality: Smart. She knows a least one fact on every subject because she's read so many books. You pretty much can't get her angry unless you touch on one particular topic.
Element: Earth

Girl 4 Suggested name: Sam
Personality: Angry. No... Full out mad. Nearly everything ticks her off (especially Girl 2), and only one thing can get her to anything even close to happy: Beating up her punching bag.

We're gonna start from right after the girls learn of their powers. The guys haven't shown up yet. They're gonna move in across the street when they get the cue. (When I send you a message.) Guys, stay on your toes and keep track of where we are, k?
The guys may now start. Please remember: the preset guys all live together in the house across the street.
They've had their first scavenger attack, but everything is settling down. Now, they can have some fun.

KC stepped outside and leaned on the porch railing. She stared at the empty cars, sighed, and turned to go back inside. With her hand on the doorknob, she heard a most wonderful sound: a bird was singing! She grinned and went in. Whistling quietly to herself, she went to the kitchen and started breakfast. As the smell of bacon drifted through the air, she said, "Well, at least not EVERYTHING died..."

Azura came down the stairs, yawning and rubbing her eyes. She walked into the kitchen. "Hi there KC! Makin bacon?" said Azura cheerfully. She sat down at the kitchen table.

"You bet! 'Cuz you know what I just found out? The animals are still alive! Well, at least the birds. But still!" KC put a pile of plates, napkins, and utencils in front of Azura and motioned to the rest of the round table. "You don't have to get up, but you know the rule: No food served till the table's set. And lucky you, being the first one up." She gave a smirk and went to finish breakfast.

Azura gasped then smiled cheerfully. "Thats awesome! Ok ill set the table." she said jovially, mumbling to herself, "don't see the point really." Taking the silverware and plates and arraying them at the four spots on the table. In addition, unbeknownedst to anyone else, she put various joke items at each spot. At KC's spot she put a whoopy cushion. She snickered to her self as she sat back down at her spot. {Pranks have begun. 3nodding Happy birthday KC.... late yes but o well..}

A loud crash suddenly echoed from up the stairs, followed by a string of curses and then a few damnations to various objects. Sam appeared at the top of the steps, silver hair wild around her annoyed face. She growled at whatever she'd tripped on behind her and stomped down the stairs, straight past KC and Azura, and reached into the fridge, seeming to dig around for something particular.

Sam flipped around, silver eyes glinting dangerously. "I'm just fine," she said, sending a narrow-eyed look between the two. She turned back and slammed her hand on the door with a loud smack when she was unable to find what she'd been looking for. She gave up and walked back to the table, just barely catching the prank at her place before it was sprung upon her. Her eyes narrowed angrily at Azura and with a loud growl echoing in the back of her throat she lunged towards the water elemental.

Azura splashed down, so that all that was left was a puddle. The puddle slid under the counters, bubbly laughter coming from it. It slid into the back, where Azura had made a hidey hole for just such an occasion.
Some water squeezed its self out of the edge of the counter top, where it meets the wall. Azura's head formed, "Sorry Sammies, that wasn't meant for you. It was supposed to be for KC." apologized the Azura head. "Sorry KC" she said smiling. Her body flowed out of the hidey hole and reformed, so she was sitting on the clean counter top. {There xd . "DON'T CALL ME SAMMIES!" the silver-haired girl yelled, and pushed her hand down as if through some invisible barrier. She wrenched her wrist over and a pop was heard, but a sudden gust of angry wind came flying through the door, bringing flying debris straight towards Azura.
