Seventeen tracks and I've had it with this game...
An anxious Clear sat outside her cabin, waiting, deciding, then she glanced over at the Aphrodite cabin. She'd made her decision, she knew it wasn't real, but it felt that way. Standing, Clear crossed the space between the two cabins, walking around the pond and right up to the door.
But heaven ain't close in a place like this...
Knock...knock
Clear's hand fell away from the smooth metallic door, the pink and white paint that consisted of outside decor reflected the sun and made her eyes hurt. She would never make it as one of Aphrodite's daughters. Her eyes turned to the Athena cabin, either it was somethign burried that turned her eyes there or it was something new, she didn't know.
Never thought I'd let a rumor ruin my moonlight...
She knocked again after a moment, how badly she needed to speak with Adara. Clear's eyes fixed themselves to the door so that she wouldn't turn back around. Maybe they were reluctant to answer the door, Clear hadn't been to nice to Adara's brothers and sisters at the Ball, but that was almost a year ago.

Adara smiled wickedly as she sat on her bunk, dressed in jeans and a pink spaghetti strap shirt. Her blond hair was tied back into a pony tail except for a few strands of hair that hung down into her face. She was working on various potions. She poured some of the love potion she had made earlier into a vial and put her own hair into the potion, causing the potion to turn a lovely shade of light pink. She slipped this potion into her pocket, she'd need it later.
Then, there was a knock on the door. Adara got up and opened it to see Clear there. The daughter of Aphrodite smiled sweetly at the other girl. "Yes Clear?"

"You know, there's a hole in our little plan." Clear looked into Adara's eyes, watching her closely, "Last Alex knew, I hated him. How in the gods am I supposed to get him to notice me now?"

Adara smiled slyly. This was exactly what she'd been waiting for. "One second!" Adara ran back inside and grabbed a white ribbon and grabbed to vials, one filled with the love potion for Dain and one with pure love potion. She ran back out and without asking took one of Clear's hairs and dropped it into the potion, turning it light green. "Okay, I'll make you a deal... I'll let you use my hair ribbon it should make you so gorgeous Alex won't be able to resist you. Tell him to drink this." he said, handing her the vial filled with green potion. "Then, as payment for being oh so generous, I want you to some how get Dain to drink this." she said holding up the light pink vial. "Deal?" she asked, holding out the objects.

Clear yelped when Adara took one of her hairs, then sighed. She looked at the vials and ribbon, thought back and forth for a moment, then nodded. "Sounds fair." She smiled at Adara, taking the two vials and the ribbon. "Just one more question, any idea where Alex is?"

Adara frowned softly, trying to remember where she had seen the boy. Then, she saw him playing volley ball with some of the other members of the Athena cabin versus the Hermes cabin. "Hey, isn't that him over there?" she asked her, pointing at him.

Clear glanced over her shoulder, smiling at the sight of him. "Thanks, Adara." She gave the girl a quick hug and a peck on the cheek and then scampered off. She placed the vials in her pocket and tied the ribbon around her bun, and she instantly saw the results. Now she knew what it was like to be a daughter of Aphrodite. Clear made herself at home of the sidelines of the game, watching it closely as eyes began to turn to her.

Adara's eyes widened as Clear hugged and kissed her. Then, she put on a warm smile and waved at Clear. "Good luck!" Adara called. For some reason, Adara felt warm inside. Not the usual kind, the kind she got when she knew she was getting something she wanted. No, this was the kind of warmness that came from helping someone. For once in her life, Adara felt kind like she could help someone.
Alex was about to spike the ball back towards the Hermes side when he saw Clear walk over. The ball flew past him and landed into the dirt. Alex didn't pay attention to his team mates' complaints just walked straight over to Clear. "Uh... H-Hi Clear..." he said, staring at her with wide eyes.

A small smile played Clear's lips, this would be fun. "Hi, Alex." She giggled, "You look exhausted, seems you've been out here playing really hard. Are you thirsty?" She asked him this innocently, tucking a lock of loose hair behind her ear.

Alex just gazed into Clear's eyes absently. "Uh... Y-Yeah..." he said, he was basically just agreeing with everything Clear said just so he could watch her some more. It was strange... He used to hate her... He thought... So why was it so different now? Did she get a hair cut or something?

Clear smiled, reaching into her pocket and removing the vial with the green potion, "Then you should drink something." She held it out to him, "Here, it'll help you feel better."

Alex smiled and took the drink. "Thanks." he said with a smile. He opened up the vial and chugged it down, wiping his mouth slightly. A warm feeling welled up in his stomach. The drink tasted like cool strawberries on a summer day. Delicious. Then he looked back at Clear and felt his stomach do eight flips in a row. Then, he leaned in closer to her. "C-Clear... I... I uh..." he stammered.

"You what?" She didn't move, no matter how tempting it was, Clear didn't move. Her eyes searched his intently, trying to make sense if the potion had taken its effect on him or not.

Alex leaned in even closer towards her until their noses were just inches apart. A very risky move for this being the woman who was the mother of his brother's baby. "I-I think I love you Clear..." he said softly, kissing her lips once, very softly.

'I so owe Adara.' Clear's eyes drifted closed and she gave a quick kiss back to Alex.
'What about Dain?'
Clear pulled away, her eyes widened for a moment, looking at her feet. 's**t...'
'You haven't taken care of him yet.'
