Today wasn't any other day. Today was Elisa birthday, and what a grand day it was indeed. At least for the girl who was turning one day older. This day couldn't be any better for her. She was going to be showered in attention, and she was getting presents. Who would not love that? Nobody, that who, and if they didn't, they were just not as pretty and amazing as Elisa.
Today was going to be even better though. Elisa had invited everyone on the compound to her birthday party. Not only would she get gifts, but she would be able to spend time with the other Pretties she associated herself with. It was going to be a grand day indeed.
Friends.
Presents.
And a tea party.
This was a recipe for a great day.
The best part, Icky was her slave. It was her day, and he would do whatever she wanted...Even more so than he usually did.
Wonderful.
"Icky," the small girl called from her bedroom. "Is the tea ready, and what of Elisa's guests?"
Ivan, who sported a rather small birthday hat tilted to the left, was preparing the table by setting out the small individual plates and tea cups. This day was going to be...interesting.
"Gettin' there," Ivan called back, glancing every few minutes toward the door. Hopefully someone would come, so she would have someone else to steal her attention...

Kainda held the gift of a sparkly tiria wrapped up in a nice giftbag since she didn't trust Adair's hands. She knew he wouldn't open it or anything. He knew what it was and didn't want to play with it but he wasn't good at not tearing things with those claws. Ethan opted out of the tea party but Adair was actually eager to go.
When the gryphon boy (in his best clothes) reach the door he knocked hard and then pushed the door bell. He loved really annoucing his arrival. Adair didn't like how Kainda tried to push down his hair but with all the feathers mixed in it just managed to get the hair to stick down and the feathers stick up. Ether way he looked ridicioulous but he looked that way for Elisa. His wings were cleaned (he had to deal with a dreaded bath for this) but it all be worth it.
Kainda said there be cake.

Vega on the otherhand, had come alone, and with two presents, one which he considered much more valuable than the other. The lesser of the two was a little pink chest that contained a multitude of dressup clothing, which he had to admit was a very good present for a Pretty. But, the best present was Vega himself, all primped up in his own way and eager to spend time with his fellow Prettys. Stephan had taken him as far as the building door, but he had insisted that no Icky spoil his day. He fumbled his way up the stairs dragging the chest by its plastic handle, and managed to just barely catch up with Adair and Kainda at the door. He kept quiet though, not wanting to go in at the same time as them. After all, what was a party without a grand entrance like the kind they showed on TV?
