Plot in progress! The idea is to make a game that is not at all cliché. I'll try to give the battle a different face, which means, not actual battles, but something else. What? You would like to know that, don't you? Hehe. The plot consist of a pretty rainbow optimistic reality colliding with a dark, nightmerish mennace. It features a lot of plot twists, a surprise ending and constant change of main character! Yes! The party is always of four, but the characters are different! But they inherit the previous character's levels. This is my first proyect and I'm currently only working on the ideas. Since I'm almos always hanging around the Legend of Twilight Fantasy, Mana Quest XD, I might not be here for long. I'ts ok. I can wait for weeks or months for replies, but don't think I won't appreciate any feedback! I heart feedback. That is all for the moment, thakyouverymuch! UPDATE! Both main characters are females, so I need suggestions for names! A blond little cute girly name for the main! And a whatever-weirdy-you-want-to-make-up-name for the darky sidecick! Post, post, POST!!! ANISE it is for the blondie! Good one, Miss Lalaba! More names for: the darky, a dork, a jekr with a hear of gold, and a farmer, for the moment.

I love the idea of having something other than actual battles, or battles which aren't fought like typical RPG battles at all. Also the idea of switching the main character, it gives you a lot of different perspective. 3nodding

For some reason, I'm reminded of this one GBA game I heard about. Basically, it's like a normal RPG except the random battles are side scrolling space shooter (think R-Type or Darius Twin). It sounded really cool in theory, but it was apparently horribly broken because the equipment on your ship was randomly chosen. So you were pretty much dead if you were fighting really tough opponents with basic weapons. I'm sure whatever you're doing will be much better/different though. xd

Also, do you actually harvest stars? That would make a cute minigame, to go around collecting stars. The bigger they are, the more points you earn. Of course, when I think of this, I think of Mario, and when you get to those stages where you're up in the clouds collecting the coins...except in this case, it would be cute little stars.

Yay, quick feedback! Yes, the whole point is to harvest stars. stare That was descriptive. The point is, the main characters have to do stuff (battle, but not battle) to nurture the stars, then the bossfight (not fight per se) is the harvesting and the goal is to harvest all the grand stars to fight the nightmerish mennace. And the minigame makes a great addition to that!

The fighting will be more like the opposite. Creating instead of destroying.

Ambitious to say the least. Hard to imagine an RPG without fighting OR dungeon crawling.
Sort of like harvest moon, except with more karma.

That happens when I don't want to make myself clear. That and threads going into a comma. The battle system will remain, only I'll make it look like instead of fighting, you are doing something else. And the karma sounds like a good idea.

Sounds like a cool Idea.
It sounds like it might be difficult to do, but I'm sure you'll be able to do it!
It sounds like a pretty good Idea!
Also, being original and trying something new? Awesome.

Names, names, names... Hm. Anise (not sure for which)? That's the only name I can come up with right now it seems. But I'm pretty sure I got that from a book, or game, or...something.

It seems a bit more like a male name to me. The sound is too harsh. However, it's not up to me, just saying how I feel about it. It is very cool though, I like it.
