Malis grumbles slightly as she glances around at the two leggers who seem to be watching her baskets. Her baskets... and they seemed to have an inkling of trying to take them? She didn't think so! She snorted once and stomped her hoof, glaring about with bright red eyes...

Welcome to this little event. I would like to find a good home for this little basket and as she or he will be part of the infamous troll family and is rather special to me. Bane shall be helping me make my decision as well as a few friends if I need them ^-^~ I am looking for someone who knows a little about trolls in general or at least the Delnaria family. I would like this basket to go to someone who does not have that many in their herd, or even a newbie who I have seen around in the thread. RPing is definitely a plus as I have plans with this family that continue on through this point.About OOC Trolls Note: Malis comes from a herd somewhere in the Southern Americas. The tribe is known as the Darkspear Trolls however it is just a name and not a completely different race/species of Soquili. The kodos and crockalisks are actually just lizards and crocodiles and many of her customs are just that, customs. Her speech patterns and saying are cultural differences and do not promote anything special in her base character. She is a respected shaman in her tribe but in Soquili terms she is more like a spirit talker and can do minor spells. Malis has come to the Kawani herds to explore and find out about her northern cousins.

The history so far...
Malis traveled from a small village in the South Americas in the middle of the rain forests. She came to the Kawani lands to explore and ended up staying. Shortly after arriving she met with Kifo, another stallion from the same areas where she was from, albeit a different village. They ended up getting along and the result was Tai'jin and Zul'jin. After moving on their separate ways, Tai with her, Malis tried to raise her daughter to be a good upstanding member. In this she believes she has failed.
Tai'jin ended up meeting a young stallion of the waters. She swam with him along the river banks and ended up falling in love with the kelpie. Malis was not happy with her daughters choice, believing that nothing good could come of the ocean. This was reinforced when their daughter and son were born with not traces of her own heritage of her village. Malis almost disowned Zandali and cast her from the family.
Tai'jin was furious with her mothers reactions and turned on her, literally kicking some sense in to Malis. Zandali heard the fight as it was going on and felt like she was no longer part of the family. She ran away from home and has been missing for some time which made Tai leave to go find her. This left Malis alone again and has been an interesting turn of events...
Malis started wandering like she used to. She has grown distant from the Willowglen herd and they worry about her. She refuses to admit that she is lonely and this had made her harsh and callous. Her moods have gotten a lot more caustic, even to the point that she has withdrawn from any social gathering where before she would be in the thick and thin of it. Malis has started to wander further and further away from the herd that she helped build. It was during one such exploration that she met up with Kifo once again. The familiar face and gruff attitude reminded her of home, the home she had left so very long ago. This has been the start of her healing.
Malis will welcome her new family and start again, this time with a new outlook. Though her closed mindedness she lost her first daughter and, while she will still raise her foals by Darkspear standards, she has accepted the fact that this is her new world and the old life must be closed. She may take her children back one day to visit but she realizes that the Kawani lands are their homes now...

The Delnaria Family Name: Malis Familiar: Zayll (Wolf) Children: Tai'jin and Zul'jinLikes: Fighting, pillaging, plundering, looting, treasure hunting Dislikes: Water! prissiness, having her hair cut. Personality: Malis is a stubborn mare who loves to travel and is a shaman in her old village of Darkspear. Once a respected adult in her village, she left after a childhood friend came on to her a little strongly. After he ended up receiving the position she had been vieing for she decide to seek her own fortune elsewhere. She came to the Kawani lands to learn about the soquili there and ended up staying put. Malis and Immi created the Willowglen Herd and they live in a clearing in the woods surrounded by willows. Malis is very wise though she chooses not to show it, preferring to act a little more dense so that others will explain things to her easier. She is a good listener and is one to go to for advice though she does have unusual ways to explain herself. Quite fun loving and very social, the troll mare enjoys to chat with other soquili to find out what makes them tic and learn new customs. Recently however her more negative traits have been showing through with her nonacceptance of the newer additions to the family. She has become greatly introverted and grouchy, even to the point at snapping at the rest of the herd. Where once, the others used to come to her for advice, they now shy away in fear of her unpredictable reactions. Name: Tai'jin Mated to: IcarusChildren: Zandali and TookiLikes: New and exciting locations Dislikes: Stuffy busybodies Personality: Tai'jin take a lot after her mother though she doesn't always like to admit it. She is bluntly honest and enjoys meeting people. Tai'jin does have a quick temper but it takes just as little time to cool down as it does to flare up. An adventurer at heart, Tai likes nothing more than to explore new places. While she has picked up a lot of Malis' speech patterns, the troll does speak proper kawani when she feels like it. She met a klepi named Icarus and fell in love with him and the ocean. This is not something that her mother is very happy about but she stood up to defend both him and her children after they were born. She is currently looking for her daughter who ran away after listening in on a fight. Name: Zandali Likes: The ocean and beaches, shinies Dislikes: Meeting new people, unfamiliar places Personality: Zandali wishes she could be as brave and strong as her mother and grandmother but she feels as if she cannot match up to her Grandmother's ideals. She has a rather pronounced stutter and is very shy and introverted because of it. To the few friends she has made she is incredibly loyal and would do anything she could to help them. Recently she overheard her mother and grandmother fighting and became rather distraught over it. She ran away from home and has not come back. She hopes that by finding the village her grandmother came from she can win over Malis' favor and be accepted into the family once more. And the new addition... Name: Sen'jin Personality: As a foal Sen'jin will be boisterous and feisty who loves to discover new things. He will like to push boundaries and as a youngster isn't interested in learning about the spirit world... Later on he will find out a few things about his mother which changes his mind and he will start working his way towards becoming a shaman like his mother. This may happen upon the arrival of Voodoo if that happens in time, otherwise it will occur another way.

So... the moment you have been waiting for...
How to get your hands on this nifty little basket...
*insert basket here*
First you need to fill out the little form provided below. It will not be counted against you if you have never played WoW or you are not a Soquili newbie. Then I shall post a few questions about trolls in general, WoW, Malis' history and other random tidbits that I feel is important. This will not be a timed thing, I want everyone to have a chance to find the answers as I figure you will probably learn a little through searching *chuckles* After I'd like a little blerd or mini RP about the little basket in question. This foal will be raised alongside mine by Malis so I am looking for someone who will be ok with that *nods*For The Horde Name: Gaian name Soquili name: (please think of something 'trollish' as she/he will be raised by Malis herself, if you need help coming up with names WoW-wiki is a useful tool) How many Soquili do you have now? (and who are they if ya wanna list them *grins*) Why would you like one of the troll family? If you had a Bokbok, what would you call it? Do you play WoW? (Character, level, server? *'cause I am curious*) Any ideas for helping the plot along? Do you like RPing? (not completely needed 'cause I am a very slow RPer but it would be nice) If you plan on breeding at a later date will you mind having Malis be a factor? (While Malis is definitely going to be a lot more lenient this time around, I would like someone who wont get offended if she inserts her own opinions with a partner of choice... ) Questions in the next post...

Questions o' DOOM!
If you cannot answer all of these that is ok... some are made purposely hard while others are just for fun so you can learn a little about me and my favorite character ^-^~
1: Why is Zandali's name special? 2: Malis helped out a white stallion who belongs to another family line of greatness (owned by Meeki), Who was he? 3: Why does Malis not like Icarus? 4: Where does Zul'jin's name come from? 5: Faire Malis is a Vitterfolk troll, what is special about her hair? 6: What tastes like Candifloss? 7: WoW Malis is from Yojamba Isle, what tribe of trolls live there and why are they special? 8: Who was the first person Tai'jin ever met? 9: Tell me a little bit about Ysätters-Kajsa. 10: Who taught Malis how to flirt? 11: Shamans use totems in WoW, tell me what are the four elements they use. 12: Find a picture of Malis (not a pet) bonus if you draw one *grins* a few more are coming...
Bonus: Hop on Sentinals and find Malis... tell me what guild she belongs to and if you really want to, come find her in person and say 'Hi'
And a little bit of RP...
The last little bit is a small RP blurb. Please respond to one of these three prompts. You do not have to write a huge story but I'd like at least a paragraph or two *nods*
Prompt 1: Give me a short character description of the foal. How does he/she react around others? Are they proud to be in one of the best family lines around? Are they helpful and supportive to others, do they feel the healers soul within them? Are they aggressive and fierce, travelers at heart? How does he feel about his mother and his siblings, his niece?
Prompt 2: Malis has taken her two children out to the wilderness to teach them survival and how to commune with the spirits. Sen'jin has decided that he would prefer to attack bugs and the like and tries to convince your foal to ditch the lesson and go exploring. What does your foal do? Does he prefer to learn the teachings of a shaman or follow the path of the traveler?
Prompt 3: Malis got called away to help with a birthing. The night has turned dark and stormy and some odd noises are coming from the trees around Willowglen. How does your foal react? You can 'borrow' Sen'jin for the duration of the RP...

About the Lads.
Name: Kifo Familiar: None Children: Tai'jin and Zul'jin Likes: Showing off, Open plains, Good jokes, His tusks. Dislikes: Soquili who take life too seriously, Trying to eat grass with his tusks in the way. Personality: Kifo is a fiesty, wild soquili, who is intensely proud of his family and any soquili bearing traits placing them close to a Troll in appearance. His speech is still somewhat affected by the accent specific to his former herd, which can sometimes give the impression he is slow witted, but in general, he is far from it, quick to notice what other people are up to. He's still a bit puzzled by his role as a father and generally just treats all his relations as if they were good friends rather than blood, something which seems to bother his son somewhat. His temper, when fired up can also be rather terrifying, although this happens extremely rarely.
Name: Zul'jin Familiar: None Children: None Likes: Being a rediculous flirt around everyone, preening and grooming his hair and tail. Dislikes: People telling him what to do, Personality: Zul takes life even less seriously than his father, treating every single day as if it was a joke he was playing on the world. He can be overbearing and firtatious, even rude with his blunt honesty and is not generally afraid of hurting a few feelings simply because he wants to.

Tirokio Name: Tirokio (9 Soquili, Plays WoW, Bokbok = KFC) Any ideas for helping the plot along? I always thought it might be interesting if one of Malis' foals began to instead study shamanism; began to get into the darker aspects of trolls like cannibalism and voodoo. I'd be curious to see how Malis would take to that; seeing as the foal as he grew up would try to be very cunning to keep it a secret! x] <3 Prompt 2:In short; The colt would want to be the best he can be for his family. While he enjoys the company he gets and his mother's teachings; he would be enthralled by the spirits....especially the dark ones which call to him. When by himself he wouldn't take too kindly to others; and pray he doesn't run into anyone he would deem worthing to practice voodoo or cannibalism on. XDD;; I can see the colt being docile in comparison to his siblings; rather eager to learn about the world around him than to see it unless accompanied by his mother or when old enough to have a fair bit of knowledge backing him up. I'd totally custom a little voodoo horse doll as an item that he'd for sure threaten soquili with XDDD Because don't cha know...
'Don' be pissin' off a'troll mon, unless ye'be a biggah 'un!' x3 Hot Lolli Name: Hot Lolli (1 usida, plays WoW) Soquili name: Rokhan Any ideas for helping the plot along? Rokhan will take shamanism very seriously, and learn all he can from his mother. Basically being momma's lil' boy, and star pupil... But as he grows and learns more about the spiritual customs of the Kawani he adopts their rituals and ideas of the spiritual world. Being torn between the world of his mother and that of his own birthplace, he'll start a treasure hunt of his own for a perfect balance between the two, and in the process help Malis close the gap between the two worlds completely for herself. Prompt 3: His eyes were wide and their yellow orange color practically glowed with unseen magics everytime the lightening struck. He'd watched his Momma go away, and he knew it was to help with the birthing of new foals, and though he missed her he wasn't concerned about that. No, when she'd left the first smell of electricity on the air had hit his nostrils and he'd known the storm was coming. The little blue foal with the dark markings had been good at knowing these things since the first day he'd burst from the basket. Some, like his Momma, said it was the spirits whispering in his ear. Others, well, they were a little more skeptical and called it luck. The way Rokahn saw it, luck did not exist. There was only what the spirits told and gave you.
Flash!
Another streak of light arced across the sky, striking the colt from his thoughts simoultaneously. The jolt of how close that one had been, and from being startled out of his head like that, made the hair all along his back stand on end as if he'd been charged full of lightening himself. That's when he heard the slow and steady trodding of small hooves behind him.
"Oi, mon." A voice very much like Rokhan's own sounded behind him. It was his brother, and it made him laugh how Sen'jin talked like their father despite being raised by their Momma. "Don't ya be thinkin' t' be time to come out o' tha rain?" Rokahn then heard the shaking of his brother's mane and knew the gesture was to make a point. "Ah be drownin'," he heard Sen say again.
Turning around, Rokhan shook his head and smiled. He knew this time his eyes looked as though they could see right through the other colt. "I be stayin' here," he answered slowly and delibritely. "Th' spooks be talkin' tonight." With another eerie smile, the young troll turned back to watch the skies and there he stayed until the skies cleared. RavenFyre Name: RavenFyre (1 Soquili) Soquili name: Rokhan RP Prompt 2:Rokhan could only give his brother a half-hearted baleful look. He knew that their mother was only trying to instill in them the ‘old ways.’ He wanted to follow in his mother’s ways, to be someone that brought pride to their brood. Sen’jin wasn’t making it easy, mostly because Rokhan himself wanted so badly to just give in and play as well. There was so much to see, so much they could do, and it all looked so fun! Ah! What had their mother just said? Curse it, he had been paying so much attention to his brother that he hadn’t heard what their mother had said. Had it been something important? Rokhan fidgeted in bit in place, determined to learn their ways from the shamanic mare. But Sen’jin’s antics were still catching his attention. He was still young, after all. He wanted to play, too! He danced a bit in place, looking between his brother and back to their mother. Ooooh! Darn that Sen’jin! Play could come later, he told himself firmly! He had plenty of time to play, but would their mother always have time to teach them like she was now? She was a busy filly after all. He wanted to pay attention, he really did, but… but… the world was before him, begging to be explored! And if he didn’t go Sen’jin would be sure not to let him hear the end of it, he was sure… but… but… He was a proud little stallion, he wanted to learn… but he wanted to explore, too…He had plenty of time to learn the teachings of a shaman, didn’t he? He was young, he had plenty of time. He was fidgeting and prancing in place, looking torn. No! No! He wanted to learn, he would learn! He would learn all his mother had to teach him and bring pride to their brood. He’d have plenty of time to explore the world around him once he was older. Yes… he’d wait… he could wait! The world would still be there if he waited. Little did the foal know that choices he made now would have such a deep impact on who he became in the future. But the little stallion had made his choice and now followed the path set before him. Kisoni Name: Kisoni (3 soquili, plays WoW) Soquili name: Mazra'Alor Any ideas for helping the plot along? I think it'd be interesting if she succeeded with getting what she wanted--and then some. A child that is so very much Troll that its hard to deal with. Aka "be careful what you wish for" Prompt 1: Mazra'Alor would be the essence of troll, by horde/wow standards. He'd speak like his mother (or attempt to, at any rate) and be completely proud of his heritage, likely going so far as to idolize it above his homeland. Aggressive, and possibly a bit of a bully, Mazra would strive to be a warrior that can make his mother proud, always going above and beyond what is asked of him regardless of any personal dangers. To say that he's a "momma's boy" would be an drastic understatement. He'd likely be possessive of her and jealous of attentions any of his other siblings got, especially in regards to the niece and sister that "hurt" his mother so. Doubly so, he wouldn't appreciate any male that got near her, even his own father. When grown he wouldn't ever take a mate his mother didn't approve of entirely, and likely would be hard pressed to find a female that would measure up to his mother in his eyes. I think it'd be interesting to see how she would have to push him away from being 'like her' in order to get a moment's peace from him. Capricorn Sunchai Name: Capricorn Sunchai (1 soquili) Soquili name: I was thinking 'Kaz'kah'... according to the WoW wiki, I think it means "death totem", which I would want to imply that the character has a strong fighting spirit. xD; I'm not sure, though; I would be more than willing to change it to something better with your help. Any ideas for helping the plot along? Yeah~ 8D Typical rebellioius teen things, perhaps a meeting with their other siblings and family; I would want the character to be half between the new-age, and half between their roots.Prompt 3: The colt would be sharp, witty, and upbeat, but not overly warm and fuzzy. Exceedingly proud of his lineage, he feels the need to share it with anyone and everyone. Somewhat of a 'momma's boy', he won't hesitate to ask for her advice in whatever matter should come to pass. While he would not necessarily adopt her way of speech, he would push hard to follow in her footsteps as a good member of their tribe. To those not of troll lineage, he would regard them in a sense of respect, but try to stay more to his "own kind". A fierce warrior, he will stop at nothing to protect his family and friends, choosing physical combat over the mystical powers of a shaman. While not a roamer at heart, he will follow his family wherever it should choose to go. He doesn't by any means want to feel the same lost feeling that Malis once had. He is devoted and caring to those that he knows and loves, and more stand-offish to those that he doesn't.
In regards to his family, the colt holds them in higher regard than himself. No matter what he's doing, he will put it aside to spend time with them, whether it's merely playing around, or something more crucial like training. Even though his mother accidentally drove away one member of their family, he would welcome them as the blood relative that they were. To him, family is family. He himself wants nothing more than to someday find a mate with troll blood in their veins, but will not discriminate if love were to find its way from another species into the heart of one of his siblings or relatives. Leez0rz Name: Leez0rz (1 usida) Soquili name: Malaka'jin Prompt 2: Malaka'jin followed after his mother along side with his brother Sen'jin. The young foal kept his ears perked up, listening to anything what his mother might be trying to teach him. Glancing to the side where he had last seen his brother, he stopped in his tracks seeing his brother sidetrack to attack bugs. His glanced back and forth between the retreating figure of his mother and the retreating figure of his brother. He was stuck at a crossroads on which path to pick. "Yo mon, what are ya doin'?" He watched as his brother try to encourage him to wander off. "Ya know, this here is value stuff!" His head turned to watch his mother's body walk further away and out of distance. "Stop ya foolin' and get'ta walkin'! Ah ain't takin' the blame for you gettin' los'." The foal moved closer to Sen'jin to headbutt his hind to get him moving.
After a few attempts to getting his brother to move, he gave up and huffed. He looked to his brother. "Suit ya self! Waste ya time here." He said before making a quick dash to follow his mother. Hopefully she wouldn't notice their disappearance, at least his until he got within walking distance. saphria201 Name: Saphria201 (1 usida, plays WoW) Soquili name: Zul Rokh: Any ideas for helping the plot along? He is going to do his best to be a part of both worlds. He will have a strong desire fore the shamanism and other troll ways but he will also be sociable in the other soquili community. He is however going to have trouble with making both worlds work together and this is going to give him some trouble. He wants his mother to be happy but hes not going to let himself be secluded from everything there is. He is also going to try and help his mother become more involved in the rest of the world. He wants her to be more accepting. If you plan on breeding at a later date will you mind having Malis be a factor? Of course. His mother is going to be an important part of his life and he wants her approval. He would do anything to make his mother understand his love though. So if she didnt approove he would do everything in his power to change that. Prompt response: (I chose prompt 2) Zul Rokh was listening intently as his mother discussed the spirits. He was fascinated by them. He could feel them all around him since birth but only after his mother had explained them to him did he understand what he was feeling. He wanted to learn more about them and one day commune with them as his mother did. He noticed as his brother began to lose interest and start staring at bugs. He didn't understand how a bug could be more fascinating than the spirits all around him but to each their own. It didn't begin to bother him until his brother began to pester him to go forth in search of more bugs. Why did he have to go now? There was plenty of time for such things later. Zul Rokh always tried to keep a balance of things. It was hard to because sometimes he would just lose himself in his exploring or his lessons but he did try. Maybe he would be able when he was older. He tried to ignore his brothers pestering but it began to annoy him. He didn't want to interrupt his mother but he needed to do something. He waited for Sen'jin to lean in again to pester him once more and then he struck swiftly but silently. He nipped his brothers ear. He hoped his plan of silence wouldn't be foiled by a sound of pain. He Went back to listening intently to his mother and hoped that she hadn't noticed his swift attack.
